THE Hibs honeymoon is over for Shaun Maloney and he heads into tonight’s Edinburgh derby in desperate need of a win.
Having won his first two games, Maloney has now failed to secure a victory inside 90 minutes in the last four matches.
And his policy of playing out from the back was exposed by Livingston on Saturday as the Lions mauled the Hibees.
They now face a Hearts side who have won five of their last six so the Jambos look the value bet at 9/5 with McBookie.
The first derby of the season was a 0-0 snorefest so I’m going to bet against thrills here too. The half-time draw appeals at evens (Bet365) and that’s better than under 2.5 goals which is just 7/10 (BoyleSport).
It’s also derby day in Dundee and both sides are in poor form, with just one win each in their last eight league games.
That makes the draw appealing at 12/5 (Bet365) while betting against BTTS also looks good at 20/21 (BoyleSports).
Ross County delivered for me again in the BTTS market against Rangers on Saturday and now host an Aberdeen side with dismal away form.
Backing goals at both ends looks the shout again and it pays 19/20 with Unibet for this one.
Rock-bottom St Johnstone head to in-form Livingston, with the Lions overpriced at 13/10 (Coral) for the win.
The final Premiership game see St Mirren host Motherwell and Eamonn Brophy looks good value for a goal at 19/10 with Mansionbet.
