Even though yesterday was a full day of flat racing, and that's not something I'm big on at this time of year, the odds-on shot which was put up did win, and won easily. Hopefully some of you got on, and put him in your multiples, to boost your odds.

In recent weeks, a lot of horses which I have previously tipped up, have made a return and have been tipped up on the thread again. Today is no different, but this one was tipped up in the early stages of my time on the thread, and with the ground now returning to ‘good' at Leicester, I think his chances are very good again. DO IT FOR THY SEN is the tip for the day, and based on his win from May last year at Southwell off a mark of 104 he is extremely appealing.
The recent form of him has been a little bit hit and miss, but there are excuses for all the runs since that win in May. He made a return to racing in November, which is probably why he ran a stinker at Bangor, as chances are that he needed the run. He ran an okay race the next time at Uttoxeter, but was convincingly beat, which suggests his handicap mark was on the high side. The time after and most recent run was on heavy ground, and I'm confident that he prefers a quicker surface, so that was never going to suit. As a result of those three runs, his handicap mark has dropped from 113 to 105, which is 1lb higher than his win in May. However, 10lbs is being taken off his weight due to the stable apprentice Daire McConville taking the ride, which means he is effectively very well handicapped, and shouldn't be underestimated.

Today’s jockey was on the 1st of those wins and takes a handy 6lb off again.
The last win he beat Waterloo sunset but that one who reopposes today has run shit since.

Joli coup has run in listed races and as betting suggests is a danger dropped in class including a close up 4th to the impressive zellie last June.
He made his all weather debut last time and came a poor 8 lengths 4th of 7 though.
