Wise Glory appears to be a frustrating horse. The pace of the race was slow, but he didn't help himself by the way he refused to settle. It looked like a hard ride for Harry Cobden, as the horse has a very awkward head carriage, which looked to have made it difficult to control him when approaching the hurdles. He was well backed again, so he must be showing signs at home that he is a capable horse.
Worcester 1:43
This race isn't full of quality, and I think it is best to side with a horse who is still unexposed, and RAVING BONKERS fits the bill. He is 0 from 15 over hurdles, but is 1 from 2 over fences, so it's quite apparent that he prefers chasing than hurdling.
His debut success over fences would've been a shock to most people as his form of hurdles was terrible, being beat by many lengths in near enough every start he had. He won at Ludlow at odds of 25/1, and for the most part he jumped soundly. Even though the leader fell at the last fence, which gifted him the lead, I think he would've won anyway as he was closing the distance between the two. In his next chase he unseated his rider quite early on in the race, so it's hard to say whether the win over fences was a fluke or not.
It was encouraging that they raced him over hurdles at the start of this month, as that would've blown away any cobwebs and would've sharpened his fitness up for a crack at some more chase races which he is clearly better at. His trainer, Oliver Greenall, is having a good start to this jumps season, especially with chasers, as he operates at a 26% SR, which is 10 wins from 39 runs, with a further 11 being placed.
As I mentioned at the start, I don't think this is too competitive, with only a handful who have decent claims. I'm hoping Raving Bonkers is overlooked in the market again, like he was on his chase debut, and he even went off at 9/1 on his second race over fences, so fingers crossed on some decent odds.
Worcester 2:18
FRAU GEORGIA looked very impressive when winning at Perth earlier on this month. She has been hit with a 10lb rise in the weights for that performance, but based on what I saw, I think she will be able to cope with that and progress again.
She is still lightly raced over fences, with this being only her fifth start. She was poor in her first two runs over fences, and was unlucky on her third chase at Market Rasen where she was hampered by a faller, which resulted in the saddle slipping and unseating Tom Scudamore. In her next race she absolutely breezed up, winning by 9 lengths, eased down. Tom Scudamore was extremely confident when approaching the final two fences, he was sat behind the leaders, and he knew he had a lot of horse left underneath him. Frau Georgia was backed into 9/2 that day, so connections must've felt that she was in good form and was better than her mark of 100.
This race is tougher than last time. Wagner would probably be my guess at who would be the main danger. That horse holds Delight Of Dubai on collateral form, so it would be a surprise if the latter reversed the form. However, he tackles a new trip and has to prove he is as good at this distance.
Another belter of a day today,
Ruby’s Cottage was tipped last night at 11/2, went of at 4s and won nicely. I was surprised to see Hayley Turners ride Ancient Times fade a furlong or so out.
I then tipped a 14/1 winner about 45min in the last at Newcastle. Unfortunately I only stuck it up about half an hour before the off but hopefully some of you were active and got on that one! They don’t come around that often.
Just the one selection for tomorrow and it comes from Ayr.
2:10 – Mr Alan – 2/1
George Boughey does well with his 2yr olds and he sends Mr Alan up from Newmarket to contest the 2:10. He wouldn’t send the horse 300 odd miles up to Scotland if he didn’t feel it had a strong chance of winning.
Hasn’t been seen since last may, so I’m hoping he doesn’t need the run.. he finished 7th of 12 at Yarmouth on previous run which doesn’t sound amazing however I rewatched the race and he did make some nice late headway before fading in the final furlong. He should come on for the run and know the job at hand a bit better.
The form of that run also boosted as it has seen multiple winners since. He takes a step up in trip and everything points to hopefully a big run.
Good luck
@BlackNoSugar
I would never ask anyone to donate or pay for my work. I was simply stating I would start putting a link at bottom of posts under my write ups and the offer is there if people are in a place and feel they’ve benefitted.
I sit at night studying cards and putting write ups because
1- I love racing and studying form
2- If I’m giving out my selections I feel there needs to be some reasoning behind it. For example last week I didn’t just call the race winner but called exactly how the race would plan out.
I’d never beg people for money or donations but don’t see a problem with posting a link that gives people the option if they feel they’ve profited of the information.
i didnt really read what you wrote, was slightly negative because effectively you’re trying to benefit from a platform you didn’t help build etc. and only after a week, was a bit cringe, but with that said, i am in agreement with you.
studying can take over your life. if we have someone like cairnzy who is willing and seemingly able, then i can’t think of any reasons you should at least be allowed to offer a donations link. a few love hearts are not enough for the endless hours some put in. keep up the good work.
Meow 💥💥
Cairnzy.
Just read your piece on yesterday’s thread.
You will have to email admin about the giving link to see if that’s ok.
I agree with you about charging for tips which is a no no for me personally and has no place on a platform like this.
It’s a free to air, open forum and to be honest some of the posters here over the years piss on them so called pro’s anyway I.m.o.
A few have started posting here and on the footy thread over the years I’ve been posting here and left to start their own thing charging for their services which I don’t like personally.
As for people who pay for tips, if they are paying for them they are betting for the wrong reasons, betting should be a bit of fun or a bit of a buzz,
If betting was as easy as paying a pro tipster and collecting winnings bookies wouldn’t exist
Be interested to hear what other people think about paid tipsters
@Elvis
Thanks for the reply mate. You are 100% right paid tipping is wrong hence I knocked it on the head 6 months back.
When I had the group of 75/100 people paying me it was great don’t get me wrong the money covered my bills it was free money to gamble etc plus I had my wage on top of that but the stress of it simply isn’t worth it. You go on a bad run for a week or two with no winners and all of a sudden the ‘I’m paying you money and you arnt providing me with profit’ comments starts.
I actually had a brief chat with someone called Paul who I think runs the site since Mr Fs passing, this was about 6 months ago before I started posting on this forum.
I put forward an opportunity to possibly extend the racing part of this site. It wasn’t long after Rizzle took over from AT.
Back then I was working along side a tipper called James he has his own IG platform, a very knowledgable tipper in all aspects of racing Australian, Irish, UK
You name it he does it. Check him out- On the bridle racing. Even his Instagram page looks professional. Over 1000 followers. We worked together on and off I more helped with the flat side of racing as jumps isn’t my go to. When I put forward the idea with this platform to run two forums mine and Rizzle along side each other ( Just to expand the racing side ) he was interested but talks broke down and nothing materialised.
Get James to post a few free tips here cairnzy, the more the merrier, especially if he has your current success rate.
bit cheesy having one good week and asking people to consider donating.
that being said, i think it’s the only way to entice people to put in work and it is something the site needs, not these silly love hearts.
Yep i have to agree with black , number 1 if you have to pay people to tell you the winner or placer, then your off your head ,and number two stop gambling as your doomed right from the off
Cairnzy big thanks today and all last week. I normally only follow Elvis, ew thief two people who have helped me get some really good winners. Appreciate it a lot
No problem at all Shiver, I’m glad you are up a few quid. Don’t throw it all back in!
Good luck tomorrow.
ADMIN.
don’t know if you read this but is there any news on Alan Thomson ??
Noticed he hasn’t posted on his MC bookie blog since you said he was taken ill.
Hope he is on the mend and please relay our best wishes to his family from posters here for a speedy recovery.

Mr Alan!
The run continues as Mr Alan stalks the front two to swoop past with ease!
Tipped at 2/1 last night!
Well done all winners 💥💥
I backed Capital Theory in the 2.10 but glad it lost as my stake was tiny and everyone on here would have made good money backing Mr Alan….good stuff 🙂
Nice one again
Thanks mate

Cheers Elvis 🙌
Last bet from me today,
Going for a bet on the ( To Place Market )
4.28 Worcester – Witch from Rome ( TO PLACE ) Even money
It’s a pretty open race but the heavens have opened at Worcester and the going is certainly on the soft side. Given that, my eye was drawn to Witch from Rome. He’s trading at 4/1 to win but I’m playing it safe and if he grabs a place it’ll double your money.
He seems to stay this trip well and his last win came at this venue. With the ground more on the soft side a few of these will have question marks over the conditions.
Most betting firms offer the place market and it shouldn’t be too hard to find. If you are having trouble comment below and I will be more than happy to have a look on what ever platform you are betting on to try find it for you.
Good luck
looks piss poor as you say, will chance racing spirit at 10s given the combo sent out a recent winner.
Witch from Rome 6-5 top 3 finish at skybet for those looking 🏇
Black sugar or should
I
Say data base two picks already gone nowhere why don’t you just shut up. You sad little loser
hope you were on
You don’t pop up
For ages. Some puts up consistent winners and you start to troll. I honestly don’t understand your logic. Sad little man
i can’t waste time on someone with your intellect. i said it’s cringey asking people or hinting people should donate after one week here, but that being said, it’s the only way to keep real enthusiasts here and agreed with him, going on to say keep up the good work, but yes, i can see how you think that’s trolling.
celestial sky 4.45
Your obviously mentally ill and a very jealous little man
“if we have someone like cairnzy who is willing and seemingly able, then i can’t think of any reason why you shouldnt at least be allowed to offer a donations link. a few love hearts are not enough for the endless hours some put in. keep up the good work.”
-mentally ill person 2021
Loser
yes, take your IQ of 70 out of here, because when you speak BS i’ll put you in your place. dont came at me for posting losers because this whole thread is full of life time losers.
as for RACING SPIRIT 2nd, -1.2 pts from 4 selections bigger than 8/1, so we could’ve won big but barely lost one bet, and you attack me whilst i am capable of putting up cairnzy numbers, sadly you who never post and just pop up to criticise like deb dont help, as cairnzy was saying, why bother, hope you were on the losers.
Witch from Rome wasn’t to be!
Nothing else from me today! Don’t go chasing waterfalls 👀
Good luck for rest of day.
Cheers for today
Cue the band thistledown,,sweet finale fort erie,, do what it takes fingerlicks,,G.L
@blacknosugar
There’s no need to make the comment section a competition. End of the day we are all here to take money from the bookies, share racing knowledge and most importantly have a bit of a laugh.
You popped on from no where, had a sly dig at my idea of offering a donation link saying it was cringe worthy you then went on to slaughter my last selection calling it piss poor and followed up with your own selection in the same race that lost.
I don’t think putting up a donation link is cringe worthy at all. Regardless of time frame on site , the person putting it up or consistency of selections. If someone has followed your knowledge benefited from it and they are in a financial place to throw you a few quid for the knowledge and information then offering people the option to do so I think is a pretty good idea.
As I previously mentioned there’s some people on here who spend time at night studying the following days racing, studying the weather forecast for that day, studying yard snd jockey form and everything else around it. It’s not just as simple as looking at the card and picking A B and C out because the horse has a funny name.
If someone isn’t financially well of or doesn’t believe in the idea then there is no pressure on them to do it. No different than walking through the town and ignoring someone standing with a charity box in their hand or no different than tipping a waitress.
In regards to the only been here a week or tipping a week. That’s a fair enough point to a degree. However.. in past week if you had followed every single one of my selections staking example £10 on each selection you would be up probably around £500. £500 isn’t a large amount of cash but it’s someone’s rent or mortgage covered for simply following someone’s knowledge.
I’ve been following this website for absolutely ages. Started following when AT was on board and when JohnB was more active who is another top tipper.
I remember AT had a treble up one day, can’t remember the selections as it was ages ago and I can barely remember what I had for dinner last night but I stuck £50 on all 3 and it landed. 2.6 grand back. Biggest horse winning bet of my life. If the option was there to throw AT a few quid for the knowledge he’d of been thrown £100 for the information. Unfortunately the option wasn’t there. I haven’t been actively tipping on here as previously mentioned this was because I was doing my own thing in the background tipping elsewhere on other platforms.
Please understand I would never stop tipping on here and helping people on here regardless if donations were made or not.
Good luck for rest of day.
Tomorrow’s selections will be uploaded once Rizzle has tomorrow’s forum up.
wow. just wow. i would read all that but sadly you seem to have gone to the same school as shiver.
”looks piss poor as you say, will chance racing spirit at 10s given the combo sent out a recent winner.”
to anyone with half a brain, that is me agreeing with you that the standard of horses in the race is not high, i dont mention your selection whatsoever. as it’s such a poor race, and you put one up in it, i had a look spotted my selection and weighed in, the only thing wrong here is how you misinterpreted it to think i was calling your selection poor, that’s on you.
please tell me how am i making anything into a competition? it looks like you’re the one doing that, because you just called my 10/1 ew 2nd a loser… lol, the master beat the apprentice in one race, get over it, no one is trying to steal your thunder, how could i after the week you’ve had either.
i have said if donations is what we need to encourage people like you here, then so be it, and gave my full support, so try paint another picture all you like. of course you got a minimal amount of flack for trying to profit financially from this free tipping service which you’ve not help establish.. that should have been expected.
no need to come back with another wall of text, we aren’t against each other. i’ve wanted a donation thing on here for years, not only did i say i was for it, but i said if it keeps people like you around it’s a no brainer. so stop crying over the little bit of flack, i mean from what you’ve said in reality it seems like you failed to make anything on your own two feet, have come here, done well and now want to have a little side earner because you’re so special and amazing at picking winners… fair enough, keep up the good work sir.
Yes nice tipping all week to be fair , i was with ya all week ,some good prices aswell, ill be following again tomorrow, ita be nice if you put more up ,, like Elvis says the more the merryer

Well done all winners and thanks to all tipsters today.
