So far so good with the tips and again we are waiting on one result for a multiple bet to come in due to the latter part of day 3’s card being postponed due to rain. Leyton Hewitt came up to bring in my 15/8 super single and he is again in action on day four. The limited card at this time of five games for tomorrow gives me limited tips for tomorrow’s card.
Juan Martin Del Potro vs Daniel Evans
Tomorrow marks the return of Del Potro and he takes on an inspired Brit in the shape of Daniel Evans on his own turf. I think that Daniel Evans will put up a good fight, however, I expect the experience and technicality of Del Potro to come to light in this match. Daniel is ranked 245th in the world and he has everything to play for as wins may allow him to become a wildcard for Wimbledon. However, I think that Del Potro will win in straight sets and therefore I will look into the total games market for this match. Although, Del Potro scraped through his first match he played a much more experienced opponent in Xavier Malisse and I believe Del Potro will have enough to easily dispatch of Evans

Leyton Hewitt vs Sam Querrey
Leyton Hewitt, a man in form, inspired by a run of form which is gradually working his way up the world rankings once again plays a player quite low on form in the shape of the big serving American Sam Querrey. Querrey has struggled on the circuit this year and he simply made too many unforced errors when scraping through his first round clash with the Slovenian Bedene. Sam Querrey is a big server and in his first round clash Hewitt struggled to deal with the serve which his counterpart was throwing at him. It is this which makes me believe Hewitt faces a much more uphill challenge in the form of Saw Querrey. It is therefore again that Leyton Hewitt makes my super single, but, for the wrong reasons. I simply believe that Sam Querrey’s big serving game will be too much for the Australian.

ICC CRICKET TIPS – ENGLAND VS SRI LANKA

England face Sri Lanka in the ICC knowing that a win will see them through to the semi-finals of the competition, whereas a loss for Sri Lanka will all but knock them out of the competition. In England’s first game against Australia they posted the largest batting total of the tournament and they also got Australia out very quickly through some extremely effective fielding.
On the flip side of the coin Sri Lanka batted extremely poorly and they posted a total in the early 100’s against a similarly poor New Zealand side. However, they did field quite effectively, keeping New Zealand’s score to a low.
Players such as Bell, Trott and Cook will be crucial to England posting a high score and it may be worth looking at Trott in the top batsman market. Similarly it may be worth looking at England to have the highest opening batsman partnership. England’s success will also be down to their tight fielding and bowlers such as Anderson will be crucial to England taking early wickets and trying to seal a convincing win.
I believe that England’s all around game will be too strong for a lowly motivated Sri Lanka side and I think that they should easily edge this game.

Jasper, I have been looking at VPS this morning too. They have an very good away record of only 1 defeat in the last 11, winning most of those. Lahti are struggling at the bottom of the table. I can’t understand or see why the price on VPS is so big other than the head to head record- they haven’t won there for a very long time. The problem at the moment with this league is that there are many flakey results of late like HJK losing 3 of their last 4 home games. I might try VPS draw no bet as small stakes though for a bit of interest.
After a look at the Lahti website I see the reason for the odds being so high on VPS. Lahti appointed a new manager last week (Juha Malinen) which may make a difference today as sometimes happens when a new coach come in:

It’s a quiet day at Queens at the quarter finals hit full flow. It is therefore here that we find three short priced favourites in Jo Wilfried Tsonga, Andy Murray and Thomas Berdych, two of which were my pre-tournament selections in Murray and Tsonga. This therefore makes value extremely hard to come by and I will therefore only post a daily treble today;
SELECTION 1: ANDY MURRAY TO WIN 2-0 = Andy Murray has entered this tournament from injury and he is bang in form, winning both of his matches with ease and in straight sets. He knows the importance of doing well within this tournament and I therefore expect him to easily dispatch of Becker, who although has done well to come this far, I think will have too much against him in this match. Becker played extremely well to get past Dogopolov and Rosol, however, I believe a much higher ranked player in Andy Murray will have too much for him.
SELECTION 2: THOMAS BERDYCH TO WIN vs Marin Cilic = Thomas Berdych has been extremely impressive this far and I expect him to push aside Marin Cilic in what may be quite a close encounter. Berdych has been technically faultless this tournament and although Cilic hasn’t played badly he hasn’t eased through his last few games and I expect the technicality and form of Berdych to know out the defending champion.
SELECTION 3: JUAN MARTIN DEL POTRO TO WIN vs Lleyton Hewitt = Once again we find Lleyton Hewitt finding his way into my daily tip. The Aussie is in top form and he had to come from a set behind to dispose of his opposition in the big serving American Sam Querrey. However, Del Potro easily disposed of Daniel Evans in round three and he showed some incredible tennis in easily dispatching the inspired Brit. I believe that Juan Martin Del Potro will have too much for Hewitt and he should dispatch of him in straight sets which may be worth a punt at 23/20.
Treble pays 2.41
So, anyone following my tips should so far be in profit and I hope that Day 5 will throw up a nice little treble with a fair return. Let’s hope we keep the fair run going and carry on the streak of bringing money home on everyday so far.
