Massive game in Rome this evening for both sides as 6th placed Lazio host 4th placed Milan. Milan’s scudetto hopes are all but over with neighbours Inter on course to be champions. However, both sides have European places to play for and a win here for either side would be huge. Lazio have scored in all 15 home games and have won 9 in a row at the Stadio Olinpico. Milan have the best away record in Serie A winning 13 of their 15 away games scoring in all but one game. There’s been 25 goals in Lazio’s last 7 games and 14 in Milan’s last 4 away from home. Given that and with Milan winning the last meeting 3-2, I think both sides will find the back of the net in an entertaining clash.

Crucial game for Leicester tonight as they host mid table Crystal Palace. After securing their place in the FA Cup final, Leicester defeated rivals West Brom in a comfortable 3-0 win. Leicester have actually performed better on the road this season but win this they go 7 points clear of 5th placed West Ham which should be a big incentive for them. Crystal Palace on the other hand are safe from relegation but have no chance of qualifying for Europe. Motivation may not be as high if they had something to play for and with them already losing heavily to Chelsea, Man City and Tottenham on the road, and well beaten at home to Chelsea 1-4 in their last game, I can see Leicester securing a crucial 3 points. Wouldn’t put anyone off adding over 1.5 goals to the Leicester win but I’m happy enough with just the win.

No luck this evening as Milan fail to score in Rome as they succumb to a 3-0 defeat. Frank Kessie hit the bar on the 89th minute with a near post header, fine margins.
