Morning folks, for the NAP and NB I’m taking sides bang at it at the moment and hoping that continues. Hearts and sporting have each only failed to score 2+ at home once this season and both have eked out double figure leads at the top of their respective tables. The men from Lisbon have won their last 7 games and have failed to net 2+ twice, against Benfica and braga, and have only failed to score 2+ once in the last dozen meetings with portimonense. As for hearts, they’ve failed to score 2+ in their last 3 matches, but a visit from a Morton side with no win in 7 should hopefully see that run come to an end. With the quality they have they should be scoring 2/3 every home game.
The NB sees me off to the English championship, was a bit wary with this one after highlighting how tough a league it can be to land a bet then being stung by Brentford’s 20 odd game unbeaten run coming to an end but I like the chances of Cardiff today. Since Mick McCarthy has taken over they are unbeaten in 6 and have won their last 4, scoring 2+ in 5 of those 6. At odds against just to win I’m happy enough to take them to pick up the 3 points today against a Preston side with 3 defeats in their last 4.

B365 have us priced at 8/13 today which for me, is not good value. Our top scorer Ryan Bowman is suspended after his red card against Newport, and I honestly can’t remember the last time we played without him up top. We played for over 45 minutes with 9 men on a heavy pitch on Tuesday, and the weather down here is honking – ours isn’t looking much better. I understand that Grimsby are dire at the minute with selection concerns of their own, but they haven’t played for 2 weeks so will have fresh legs. They’ve won the last 2 games at our place too. Just focusing on 1 game tomorrow the first match of the 2 between Melbourne victory and Newcastle jets.
