AFTER inflicting the shock of the round in the last 16, Lyon look to repeat the feat in the Champions League quarter-final against Man City.
The French side, in only their second competitive fixture in five months, knocked out Juventus on away goals thanks to last week's 2-1 second-leg defeat in Turin.
The rest of the tournament will be played in one-off ties on neutral ground in Portugal and either Barcelona or Bayern Munich await the winners of this last-eight match-up.
Unsurprisingly, Lyon showed signs of rustiness in their Juve showdown, but displayed admirable grit to eliminate the Italian champions.
City, meanwhile, were also impressive as they completed the job against Real Madrid with a 2-1 second-leg win at the Etihad to complete a 4-2 aggregate success.
They are bidding to reach their second Champions League semi-final, having faltered at this stage three times since making the last four in 2016.
Lyon are one of the most favourable draws for Pep Guardiola's men, but the sides' two meetings last season should ensure City don't fall victim to complacency.
