Sirius vs Helsingborg (Thursday 18:00)
SIRIUS will be targeting a much-needed three points when they play host to Helsingborg in the Swedish Allsvenskan on Thursday evening.
Henrik Rydstrom's side have failed to win any of their last five matches with each of their last three Swedish top-flight tussles ending all-square.
Helsingborg, meanwhile, come into this clash off the back of a morale-boosting 3-2 win over fourth-placed Norrkoping last Monday evening.
Consequently, Olof Mellberg's men moved out of the bottom-three with what was only their second win in 14 Swedish Allsvenskan assignments this season.
Having said that, only league leaders Malmo have managed to defeat Di Roe in their last nine outings while Sirius have lost just two of their last 12 league games – all of which makes this a tricky looking fixture to tackle from a betting perspective.
With that in mind I'm going to steer clear of the more traditional markets, however, there is an alternative angle that has caught my eye with the view to backing corners
The combination of both teams to take at least one corner in each half gives us a nicely priced Even-Money shot with Sky Bet – a bet that would have banked profit in both sides fixtures last time out.
What's more, Sirius are averaging 5.43 corners per-game at home this season while Helsingborg are hitting an average of 5.29 corners on their travels – all of which adds to the appeal of siding with the above mentioned combination.
Collectively both sides' matches on Monday evening saw 22 corners taken and 11 goals scored and given the quick turnaround both sides face here another entertaining encounter could be in store on Thursday evening.
It's also worth noting that Sirius' last six home matches have produced over 2.5 goals and that coupled with the fact that Helsingborg games are featuring an average of 10.57 corners per-game makes me more than happy to back both teams to hit at least one corner either side of the interval at Even-Money with Sky Bet.
Recommended Bet
- 1+ Corner Each Team In Each Half (1/1, Sky Bet)
Any idea on how to get this done on Bet365?
Over 2 corners in each halves is poorly priced.
Not sure mate sorry. This tends to be the type of bet that’s more often than not best priced with Sky Bet
Hi grant, I always look out for ur bets mate, & I’ve noticed uv been using skybet for ur last 3 or 4 bets, hopefully u can mix it up with bet365 again?
Hi mate, like most on here my recommended bets will always be based on the bookie offering the best price. Got one up lined up with bet 365 for this weekend which I will post later toady.
