DON’T MESS WITH MESSI

BARCELONA laid claim to the tag of best side on the planet with that 5-0 rout of Real Madrid on Monday – but the scoreline wasn’t the most surprising stat of the night.

Amazingly, Lionel Messi didn’t score although the little Argentine was brilliant in everything he did. Tonight Messi and co head for Osasuna and it could be messy.

Jock Wallace’s former side are unbeaten at home but no one will fancy facing Barca in this mood. Pep Guardiola’s men have a 100 per cent record on the road in La Liga with 21 goals scored and just three conceded.

The Catalans, 1-4 at Coral and Ladbrokes, could run riot again and Messi will be desperate to get on the scoresheet. He is a best 9-4 with Betfred and Ladbrokes to score first and 8-15 with Betfred to net at any time.

David Villa, who hit a double against Real, is 10-3 with bet365 to break the deadlock. Messi is 9-4 at Betfred to score two or more and Barca are 5-2 with Paddy Power to net more than four.
