THE only issue still to be resolved in Group A is who will finish third and secure the consolation of a place in the Europa League.
PSG and Real Madrid are already guaranteed to finish first and second respectively so it's between Club Brugge and Galatasaray as to who will continue in Europe beyond Christmas.
The Turks are a point behind Brugge after Matchday 5 so matters are out of their hands, all they can do is try to better the Belgians' result.
Paris Purring
Thomas Tuchel's side have sailed through the group stages after getting off to fine start with a 3-0 win at home to Real Madrid. They fought back to claim a point at the Bernabeu on Matchday 5, which ensured their place at the summit of the group.
That gives Tuchel the luxury of resting players and giving game time to fringe players at the Parc de Princes. That's not to say they'll be that much weaker than normal given the strength in depth they have in their squad. They'll still want to see out the group unbeaten and continue the momentum they're building that has seen them unbeaten in six (W5 D1) so far.
Gala's Struggles
Finding the net has been Galatasaray's biggest problem this season. They've scored just 15 goals in 14 league matches so far, and find themselves in 6th position in the table. In the Champions League they've scored just once, in Matchday 5's 1-1 draw with Club Brugge, and failed to score in six successive away matches in the competition.
They put up a credible defence agains PSG in the corresponding fixture, going down to solitary Mauro Icardi goal but it looks a tall order for them to salvage anything from a very disappointing Champions League campaign to date.
Cimbom have lost five of their last ten matches in all competitions (W3 D2) and including losing to third tier Tuzlaspor in the first leg of their Turkish Cup last-32 tie a week ago.
Best Bet
It's likely the turmoil will be added to in Paris but PSG are unbackable at 1/6. If Paris bring their A-Game it could be long night for Galatasaray. Falcao was back on the pitch for Gala on Saturday but they're still light on goalscoring options so a home win to nil has plenty of appeal at 1/1 with Ladbrokes, especially seeing as PSG have conceded just two goals in 10 combined home matches in Ligue 1 and the Champions League so far.
