IT's another action-packed Saturday card, and as always its the Scottish matches were my Saturday tips will be coming from.
Goal bets from Edinburgh City, Cove Rangers, a rare trip into the WDW market for Montrose and we dive into the English championship for more second-half goals at QPR
Selectabet and I have given out thoughts analysis ant tips on these matches which you can listen to on the Gambla Betting Podcast
Edinburgh City vs Elgin (KO 3pm)
2nd top Edinburgh are having a terrific season and have an opportunity to make it 6 consecutive home wins as they try to keep close on the heels of Cove who should beat Stirling Albion.
The capital side have scored 2 or more in 8 of their last 9 matches and although it won't be easy against Gav Price's Elgin side (on a 5 game winning run) Elgin's away form is a slight concern and I just feel Edinburgh will edge out the visitors.
Recommended bet:
- Edinburgh City to score 2+ goals
- 5/6 (Skybet) (NAP)
Montrose vs Forfar
The leagues form side Montrose with 5 consecutive league wins host Angus neighbours Forfar, a side who have lost 5 on the spin, have lost their manager and are rooted to the foot of the table.
The near evens you were getting on the home win is ridiculous and I see no reason to oppose Stewart Petrie's side who will be buzzing after last weeks win at high flying East Fife.
Recommended bet:
- Montrose to win
- 9/10 (Paddy Power)
Other Selections:
Cove host Stirling Albion and it shuls really be a case of how many goals the league leaders score. They've won all 5 home games this season scoring 3+ in all 5.
QPR home games mean second half goals – have tipped this three times already this season and they haven't let me down. this has landed in 9 of 10 home matches with the usual 80+ min goal expected.
Recommended bet:
- Cove Rangers to score 3+ goals
- 4/5 (Skybet)
- QPR vs Middlesbrough over 1.5 second-half goals
- 19/20 (Coral)
- Goal to be scored after 76 minutes
- 1/1 (Betway)
On for the weekends treble from the podcast.
Dundee Utd obliged last night (had to ring bet365 to correct the bet with a nasty red cross by it) and now for Edinburgh & Montrose later.
Got the singles as well.
Cheers
Rogers over.
