Tomorrow sees racing action from Newbury, Market Rasen, Sedgefield, Chelmsford City and Southwell, with myself focusing on the latter.
AL ERAYG (7.10) finally notched the victory he richly deserved last week and is capable of defying a 5lb penalty on a return trip to Southwell.
Tim Easterby's gelding had been runner-up on three occasions since August before his victory romp nine days ago. That was his first encounter with the Fibresand surface and he seemed to relish the experience.
CHARLIE ARTHUR (7.40) cost his backers money eight days ago at Wolverhampton but looked an unlucky loser, having been denied racing room early in the straight. Richard Hughes gives him his first spin on this deeper surface but Charlie Arthur is worth chancing, especially as he is due to go up 2lb on the back of that Wolverhampton effort.
FISHER GREEN trainer sends out two more today. FG was the trainer’s 3 win of the month and he’s only sent out 5. the jockey has been on board for 3 of Barnes’ last 4 winners too so no negatives there. LOULOUMILLS is a stayer but has been dropped down to 2m3f, his best results have been over this C&D whilst a fair few he’s beaten have gone on to do ok.
he had his first run in 5 months last week but has won a couple times from long breaks so that doesn’t hinder us, at first glance i thought the 20/1 odds were about right but he also has a 10lb claimer on which will mean he runs off 70… although he’s only won once (off 77) given his trainer doing me a nice turn today, i am happy to chance.
his other runner is FAROCCO running off 97, this time last year he was 18lbs higher. he’s had 10 runs in rated races and is yet to eclipse his debut 2nd of 8 off 101. on paper his chances look limited but a small throwaway wager for interest will do me.
the trainer has gone away from sedgefield empty handed the last twice.
13:15 Louloumills Sedgefield, 2m 3f 188y, C5 20/1
14:55 Farocco Sedgefield, 2m 5f 34y, C4 12/1
BEN CURTIS still seems to be getting a winner almost daily and did so for Dave Evans today, he is at Southell tomorrow and has at least two for him, 7 in total, without looking i’d bet on at least one winner to those with time, worth looking into.
19:55 CFC
Tony Carroll and George Downing in these colours were a half length 2nd at 19s for me recently, the next day they had PAPA DELTA out, I bet it and although 5th, I am willing to give him another chance although much shorter in price now. 5/1 2nd fav means a decent ew bet imo, money back if it places and win prospects.
NEWBURY
T R George has had a couple this month already too, he has two at the track, Petit Palais in the 12:55 makes his 3rd start in rated races, LTO was a pipe opener from 6 months off, he had won 3 of 6 before this. 3 places for 8 runners is as good as it gets, although he’s 4/1 it’s another bet where you’ll get most of your stake back if it places whilst he will have win prospects.
His main man is on AIR NAVIGATOR in the 15:40, he was 3rd here in March, 2l behind LARRY, who was stepped up from C3 to C2 and won immediately after. The neck winner also won immediately after. His sole win was on hcap debut off 117 and is now 8lbs higher but will be making only his 7th start.
AZZERTI is in this same race, I haven’t looked at this horse whatsoever but THESE SILKS when HESKIN is on board is something that’s caught my eye recently.
The horse is rated 2lbs lower than his win back in feb despite running twice since. he also won a C3 race off 135 a year ago. he hasn’t been seen for 200 days and that may be enough to just watch him. he’s 6/1 third fav, he carried 3lbs more beating DUSTIN DES MOTTES by half a length, he is 1lb better off now than DDM who is the same price.
bol.
Azzerti top tip well done database & all winners on here today great day love this site
cheers, not claiming to have tipped it before anyone jumps up :D was just a nod towards those connections based on what i’ve picked up on recently, PAPA DELTA a NR which tells me connections are looking for him to win, so if he is out within the next week i’d be looking at him.
rest of the mentions don’t seem to have performed too well, over to ben curtis at southell
He’s gone so doesn’t need to be mentioned here every day.

Cheers guys and well done to all contributors today, azz, bus stop, tingyko etc.
Nice to see so many happy punters, but remember good days are invariably followed by not so good days so keep stakes sensible and try not to give it back to the bookies.

cheers busstop going great guns tha sell mate
10 mins till off not looked so shouldnt post..
hard to back a horse to win two races like this in a row, especially away from their favoured newcastle but TATHMEEN only got a 2lb rise for his win last week…
cfc
he may not win but in that race he came through the field late and could potentially have it in him.
however, at a punt stake, SHOW ME THE BUBBLY 14/1, beat the current fav by a neck recently and is 2lbs better off somehow…
wow, jockey just hit the ground hard, SMTB not even tried beat the winner recently but not interested today :/
atalanta queen beat break the silence by a neck off level weights.
geography teacher beat it by a short head and carried 7 more..
AQ just been made fake fav now 11/4, alans charlie arthur nose dived out to 3/1
geography teacher a CD winner is 7/1….
ben curtis on osmosis cannot be bet on in terms of paper form.
lol well in alan, happy with 2nd, just shows how disgusting the bookies are, 7/4 to 3/1 to put people off whilst smash in atalanta queen who does absolutely nothing
1445 Hexham
NO TRUMPS 15/8 is out again today, he won 1 week ago and is unpenalised, his claimer has had 1lb taken off so he’ll be 1lb higher for routing the field last week. He has finished 4th of 13 over 3m so the 2f step up from his win last time shouldn’t be an issue. He is dropped from C4 to C5.
1435, 1610 Fontwell
Heskin in his 8/1 winning silks is out for 2 rides, one for Paul Nicholls who I haven’t seen train many of these horses. He is up against Honeyball/Coleman in the bumper so let the market guide, currently around 3/1 for THREEUNDERTHRUFIVE
NOW LOOK AT ME is the other although he is up against a C1 entrant MASON JAR on a 3 race win streak. The paper form of MJ looks pretty good, he has is readily unexposed on the upgrade and will run off 121, 6lbs above his last win but due to go up to 12lbs. I won’t be taking on MJ but perhaps the place price will be just about big enough for accas for NLAM.
1530 Warick
B I CASE had a good spell last season and Kielan Woods has been his main man, although BRYONY FROST rode WISECRACKER to win recently. He has HUGOS REFLECTION out today, hasn’t been seen for a while and I will just be watching but the trainer is a man to keep on side.
