IT was a shock night for Scottish football with Kilmarnock suffered an embarrassing defeat to Connah's Quay and Aberdeen edging past RoPS.
Rangers routed St Joseph's 10-0 on aggregate and will now aim to avenge a stunning defeat to Progres Niedercorn two years ago.
It should be plain sailing for Steven Gerrard's men who face a Luxembourg side that lost 2-1 at home to Cork but went through 3-2 on aggregate.
Aberdeen now face Georgians Chikhura and will need to improve while Crusaders face Wolves after beating Torshavn.
It was Progres who beat my Top Treble with that surprise defeat while the both to score treble was nowhere.
Well done to all last night's winners including Greg who was spot on with his handicap betting tips on the Rangers game.
On Friday we have the African Cup of Nations Final between Senegal and Algeria and it's a tough one to call as they've been the best sides in the tournament and it will be a real battle. Algeria won 1-0 in the group stage and there could be a similar result.
The Betfred Cup ties are Motherwell v Morton and Dundee United v Cowdenbeath and there should be two homes. Morton are looking not bad under new boss David Hopkin while Well are boosted by boss Stephen Robinson signing a three-year contract extension.
United started with a 3-0 win at Inverness and have strengthened considerably so look to them to at least cover the -1 handicap at 3-4 with sportingbet against a part-time side moaning about having to play just three days after facing Hearts. For a Super Single I'm backing United -2 at 7-4 with Betfred.
