WESTERN AUSTRALIA (3.00) can put down an early UK marker for Aidan O'Brien in the bet365 Feilden Stakes on the opening day of Newmarket's informative Craven fixture.
Western Australia proved he could handle fast ground by beating stablemate South Pacific (winner last week) on good to firm at Gowran Park and he reserved his best run for Doncaster when third to Magna Grecia in the Group 1 Futurity Stakes.
John Gosden's Kick On was back in sixth spot that day but may not have be at his best on the good to soft track.
Silvestre De Sousa and Andrew Balding have already hit it off big style in the early weeks of the turf season and SHINE SO BRIGHT (2.25) has sound prospects in the bet365 European Free Handicap, a Listed contest over seven furlongs.
Shine So Bright was sent off favourite for the Gimcrack Stakes at York in August but was slightly hampered when making his effort two out.
He was closing down Emaraaty Ana and Legends Of War, so this extra furlong should be just fine. Gosden saddles favourite Azano, second to Mohaather (winner last weekend) at Newbury in October, but Azano has yet to encounter ground this lively.
The Nell Gwyn Stakes for Group-class fillies is wide-open but Mark Johnston will be disappointed if MAIN EDITION (3.35) is not involved in the finish.
She started her juvenile campaign with a bang, bringing up a hat-trick of victories in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot. Main Edition continued to perform consistently in high grade, including a third to Just Wonderful in the Group 3 Rockfel Stakes here in September.
Runner-up Dandhu won at Newbury last week.
Mot Juste beat Angel's Hideaway in the Group 3 Oh So Sharp Stakes but Roger Varian saddled a few disappointing horses last week which is a slight worry. Charlie Appleby pitches his easy dual all-weather winner Orchid Star in at the deep end and she could be anything.
I don’t post much on the sites but follow most days to see what regular punters fancy ,my friend who is a big jumps fan sent me message last night.
Just looking at tomorrow’s meeting at Exeter. ‘Shark’ Hanlon has brought Woodbrook Boy over from Ireland for the bumper. Very interesting.
Might be worth a look in the last race currently 7/2 with bet 365
Morning campers, how bin ya? Spring in the air birds chirping light morning the flat season in full flow when HQ opens it’s doors. Cracking card for day 1 of the Craven Meeting.
Posting tips nice and early, be busy all day. Travelling down to Cheltenham for April Meeting.
1.15 New Twist ‘n’ Shake 2/1 was 11/4. John Gosden won this race 4 times between 2014/17 last 3 ridden by ‘Frankie’ last years representative finished 3rd. Clearly a maiden that the stable targets.
1.50 New Tommy Taylor 15/2 Nap, SKYBET MB 2/3. Clearly wide open sprint handicap, in which several of the runners renew rivalry after recent clash at Doncaster. K Ryan’s charge was the eye-catcher that day, finishing with a flourish after missing the break. He has been dropped a further pound since, sure to go close.
2.25 New Azano 7/4. Same combo as first race, Golden/Frankie love this meeting. Has the best scope of the runners here, after just 3 runs including a good 2nd behind Saturday’s Greenham winner Mohaather at Newbury in October. Unfortunate that day, bumping in to Motaather, he looks on an attractive mark on that form.
3.00 New Kadar 4/1 NB. Looked a real classy Colt when scoring and beating odds on Waldstern at Haydock. He may be up to this huge rise in class.
3.35 New Main Edition 10/3 was 4/1. Ended last season with a good 3rd to Just Wonderful over C&D in the Rockel Stakes. Dandhu was 2nd in the same race, Dandu scored in Fred Darling on Saturday. M Johnson sent out the selection to win the Sweet Solena on the July Course in August. On that form and experience she looks the one to beat.
Lucky31 plus singles. Two at Exeter soft 2′ NICKER’ 50/1 Double with SKYBET, most firms paying around 35/1. Renwick 2.40 You say What 3.50.
Be lucky, play safe have fun.

Qabala wins nicely, I thought angels highway would have won but had no luck breaking like that and that was my worry.
Still I’ll take the 7/1 win profit on the day 👍

Seinesational 5/1 – alabaster 13/8 to 5/2, bookies to drift out likely winners but form isnt amazing, lopes dancer not done much over this distance but big joe Fanning is on again and looks likely but i’ll chance SEINY at this nice price given he won recently only similar distance beating 2 previous winners one coming in C3, saver bet on lopes to beat sein perhaps)
PENNY GREEN was 20/1 at 9pm last night and is now 2nd fav in the last at 4/1, a huge move, with none being taken out, it doesnt mean much but certainly not seen very often! he has had 2 rated races and is 10lbs below his last, he has been off the track 900 days! will be interesting viewing.
