HONEY GG is fast developing into a Southwell sprint specialist at a modest level, with form figures of 2-1-2-1 from her last four visits, and she is poised to score again. Declan Carroll’s filly has a 5lb penalty to carry but is clearly in peak form.

MARBLE BAR is on a hat-trick for in-form Iain Jardine and a 5lb penalty for last Wednesday’s success is negated to an extent by Jamie Gormley’s 3lb allowance.

I would agree about Southell it is absolutely shocking, BUT you only have yourself to blame betting on HONEY GG. It beat RED STRIPES by 1.25l 1 week ago, and granted ‘she’ looked better, but there was a MASSIVE 5lb pull and at 7/4 honey gg should not have been touched with a barge pole, especially with red stripes at 6s… we live and learn.
