Celtic vs Rangers

, KO: 12:00 Mar 31, 2019, Celtic Park
Rangers

NEIL LENNON was brought in to get Celtic over the line in the title race – and he's kept the club on course for eight in a row.

Victory over Rangers on Sunday – or even a draw – will all but seal the deal with the clubs 10 points apart.

Ibrox gaffer Steven Gerrard's season highlight came with victory in the previous Old Firm game but after the winter break 12 points have been lost and no Rangers manager has won back-t-back in the derby for 10 years.

Brendan Rodgers's resignation gave Gers fans hope of a collapse by their greatest rivals but Lenny's taken seven points from nine with the help of two injury-time winners.

It's not been pretty but I expect Celtic to eke out a narrow victory and Lennon could be boosted by the return of Kieran Tierney and Tom Rogic. The Aussie in particular has been missed and will bring much-needed creativity to the midfield.

Both meetings this season have been 1-0 home wins and a third pays 13-2 with McBookie.

Rangers have failed to net in five visits to Parkhead and just two twice in eight meetings.

Celtic have dropped just two points in front of their own fans and are 21-10 at Ladbrokes to win to nil. As well as winning 14 of 15 at Parkhead the home men have lost just one of 12 derbies and that defeat in January was their only one in 11 Old Firm meetings.

Five of those Gers blanks have contributed to a low scorer and under 2.5 match goals pays 17-20 at Unibet.

Picking a first scorer is tricky but Odsonne Edouard is a justifiable favourite at 4-1 with bet365. He is likely to start in attack with Oli Burke.

Alfredo Morelos hasn't netted an Old Firm goal and is 13-5 at Unibet to end his drought.

In the eyes of neutrals, the Colombian star probably has a better chance of seeing red but a best price of 5-4 at BetVictor is extremely short.

A sending-off in the match has a good chance at 9-4 with McBookie and the Scots firm go 5-2 a penalty is awarded. A Rangers red pays 7-2 with Paddy Power and a Celtic one is 11-2.

Moreles and Celtic skipper Scott Brown to be carded pays 2-1 at William Hill while Morelos to score and be carded is 19-4 with the same firm.

It's likely to be fiery but there is a chance Bobby Madden will keep his cards in his pocket early on so be careful with total cards points. Madden averages 2.5 bookings a game this season and has shown 10 reds including on to Morelos at Aberdeen last month.

I’m pretty sure the game starts at noon, and not 12.30.
