I HAVE three tips for Friday that are all short enough prices but look like good things to me.

Newbury 12.10pm

BANG ON FRANKIE was third to two good horses who have since won when he made his debut over hurdles and he should oblige this time in a weaker race.

Newbury 1.20pm

KATESON is a horse I really admire. He won nicely on hurdles debut and it’s also worth noting that the last two horses who have beat him have subsequently won again. He should be odds on for this race in my book.

Doncaster 2.15pm

My third short-priced selection is NEACHELLS BRIDGE who showed enough promise to get into my tracker when he was second in October of last year in a bumper. He finally came good last time out over hurdles and I think he can follow up comfortably again up against this opposition.

Newbury 3pm

My last and final pick is CLYNE in the long distance hurdle . He has been just short of a top class hurdler over the last two or three years and I think he will enjoy the step up to three miles now at the age of 8. He is the clear each way value pick for me here at the prices.
