WILLIAM HAGGAS mopped up the two Listed races on last year’s interesting Lingfield card and the Newmarket trainer has prospects of repeating that feat with MOVE SWIFTLY (2.35) and DRAMATIC QUEEN (3.05).
Move Swiftly is a dual all-weather winner, at Wolverhampton and Chelmsford City, so should have no trouble handling this surface and her recent neck second to Bella Ragazza at Newmarket marks her down as the one to beat.
Dramatic Queen got bogged down in the mud at Haydock when only fourth to Mekong but had earlier run third to Worth Waiting at HQ. Alwaysandforever was right behind that day but she often ruins her chance by breaking tardily. She finished behind Willie Mullins’ True Self at Bath and Mullins sends over Law Girl to contest this 1m 5f contest.
There is a third Listed event on the card and SALATEEN (2.00) can take the prize north for David O’Meara. His fourth to Limato at Newmarket was solid and Salateen just gets the nod over another Yorkshire challenger, Kimberella.

I also hear SAMCRO is to stay hurdling this season which surprises me a bit as I think he’s built for chasing. It does though mean that prices on the other horses in the champion hurdle will be a bit more generous so with that in mind I’ve taken the 14s on SUMMERVILLE BOY ew.
I’ve also had a small ew on PYM for the supreme currently 25s. I see he runs at ascot saturday in the race Altior won in 2015. If he puts in a performance the price will be gone.

I know a couple of the owners of eight and bob that runs in the 2.40 race i knew it would win on sunday and knew the plan was to go for a quick succesion of wins this week, the price has dropped since i bet it but he wins again today barring accidents. Even money looks the best right now.

I forgot to add he wasnt guaranteed to run as they wanted to make sure he came out of sundays race ok, and i can confirm he is in tip top shape to go again today so tiredness will not come into it anyone thinking that could count against him.
Apologies anyone who followed. Just phoned my friend and he says he took a knock to the cannon bone jumping one of the hurdles, nothing serious but it defintly cost him the race.
