IT had been a frustrating October after a super September – until now!
After hitting the bar a few times recently on the moneyback fivefold I landed a 34pts winner thanks to Watford, Sunderland, Ross County, Queen's Park and Edinburgh City and that will mean another profitable month.
The Super Single was a toss-up between Dundee United and Ayr and both won but I plumped for the former at 21-10 with another 2pts advised.
Only disappointments were the Top Treble and both to score treble but I'll take that level of profit any day of the week.
On the VIP tips three aways landed with East Fife's surprise defeat at Dumbarton beating me for a 33-1 fourfold. And I just realised my 32-1 first-scorer double came up at 32-1 thanks to Callum Wilson and Billy Mckay.
Well done to all Saturday's winners including Greg, desmond and maccathered.
There's a separate preview on the Betfred Cup semis and elsewhere the big games are Barcelona v Real Madrid in La Liga and Man United v Everton in the Premier League.
For my Super Single I'm taking an Eintracht Frankfurt side who have served me well in recent weeks. They have won five in a row, scoring 19 goals, and could afford to rest striker Luka Jovic in midweek against Apollon. Jovic netted five in his last Bundesliga outing and is likely to net on his return.
I'm pretty sure Barca will beat off-colour Real but the visitors have some key men back such as Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Isco. It will be strange to have El Clasico without Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo for the first time since 2009 and with eight of the last nine at the Nou Camp seeing both scoring that could be the way to go.
Barca tempt at evens with McBookie but for the Top Treble I'm backing them to score 2+ at around 4-6.
Add Ajax at home to Feyenoord and I think mr orange has already tipped this. He reckons Ajax are much better than their rivals and they have won seven in a row at home, scoring 23 and conceding just one.
I was going to complete the treble with Napoli to beat Roma at home and I still like that but instead backing SPAL, the team that beat Roma last weekend. SPAL have won four and lost five this season and will be confident of beating a Frosinone side just two points from their nine matches.
Remember to check out the excellent welovebetting site for their tips and video chat.

I’ve sent this through as a match preview but realised that I actually submitted the wrong odds on the draw ht arsenal ft which should be 4/1
Crystal Palace v Arsenal Premier League 13:30 live on Sky Sports Premier League
After a couple of games this season Arsenal fans could be forgiven for thinking it was going to be another season of competing for an Europa league spot, they looked well off the pace against Manchester City in their opening match of the season, but, fast forward 2 months and the gunners are on a eleven match winning streak in all competitions and their fans are dreaming of a season competing for the title.
Whilst I don’t think they will quite challenge for the title they should have enough to see off a Palace side who are without a goal in their four premier league home games.
The gunners have scored 2 or more goals in their eight league games since their opening day defeat to city, this is a best price of 4/6 with Betfair and I suspect they will again score at least two.
If Palace continue their poor form in front of goal and we expect Arsenal to score two then backing the gunners on the handicaps could be worth looking at. Betfair again have the best odds on Arsenal -1 at 21/10.
Another interesting angle is that despite Arsenals 7 league wins in a row they have yet to lead a premier league game at half time. So the draw half-time Arsenal full time market could also be worth a look at 4/1 (betfair)

Reposting this from yesterday’s thread for anybody on a late one tonight:
Boxing: Vacant IBF Middleweight Championship 02:00 28th October
Daniel Jacobs vs Sergiy Derevyanchenko
Sergiy Derevyanchenko to win 2/1 Betvictor Boylesports (now a best 15/8) **LARGE STAKE**
Danny ‘The Miracle Man’ Jacobs faces Sergiy “The Technician,” Derevyanchenko at Madison Square Garden New York in the early hours of Sunday morining for the Vacant IBF Middleweight Championship and its a fight that I’ve been patiently waiting for. As soon as this fight was announced I knew the bookies would be pricing up Jacobs as a heavy favourite on the basis of his professional experience compared to that of Derevyanchenko but it really does have little relevence in this bout for a number of reasons.
Firstly I feel the bookies are pricing Jacobs (as low 2/5 with some firms) as favourite because he has been a former Middleweight Champion and has the better names on his resume, which is fair enough. However whenever he has stepped in to face the true elite level fighters he has come up short; he was brutally knocked out by Dmitry Pirog in the fifth and he most recently lost a unanimous points decision to former Middleweight king Gennady Golovkin. Since that loss he has come back with sucessive victories but as the saying goes you’re only as good as your last performance and he was poor against his last opponent Maciej Sulecki who found no problem finding openings. Derevyanchenko is several levels above Sulecki in terms of skill and boxing IQ that’s for sure…
To really understand why Derevyanchenko will win the fight and his incredible pedigree you’ve got to look at his amateur record. As an amateur Derevyanchenko compiled an ASTONISHING record of 390 wins with only 20 defeats. That type of record is right up there with former undisputed champions, unified champions, multi weight champions as well as elite level boxers like De La Hoya, Golovkin, Lomachenko, Rigondeux etc. In addition, during his “semi pro” period in the World Series of Boxing where amateur fights are contested without a headguard, his record finished at an impressive 21 wins with just 1 defeat. As a full professional his record is perfect with 12 wins from 12 (10 KO’s) and hes become known as “The Technician,” as he is fundamentally sound with superb reflexes, deft defense and devastating power.
What really seals the deal for me in favour of Derevyanchenko is that both fighters are already familiar as they are trained in the same gym by trainer Andre Rozier. They would’ve experienced countless rounds of sparring each other in preperation for fights and being the cerebral type of fighter that Derevyanchenko is I’m sure he took a good few mental notes on how to get the better of Jacobs in those spars.
The price of 2/1 for Derevyanchenko win in a nutshell is being offered here because A) he has no significant wins on his resume B) he has only had 12 professional fights and C) he has not held a world title like Jacobs. I really feel the bookies have not factored in in his pedigree at all so I’ll gladly take the price with a large stake and I’m sure come Sunday morning Derevyanchenko will be announced as a new name in boxing.
Good luck all
Excellent write up especially of a different dporr. t

Daniel Jacobs vs Sergiy Derevyanchenko
Sergiy Derevyanchenko to win 2/1 Betvictor **LARGE STAKE** ❌
Sore one to take. It was a gamble I felt worth taking given Derevyanchenko’s backround but the flash knockdown in round 1 and not being as busy as he could’ve been did the damage. Had he stepped it up a bit he could’ve got the decision as one judge awarded him the fight but the better man one on the night. Apologies to those that followed.
Cracking fight bully mate, knockdown proved to be the difference. Sky sports report stated it was a surprisingly close fight – seemed the so called boxing experts underestimated Derevyanchenko too. I went big on the win but also had the fight to go the distance which covered that stake
It was Gaz mate. I felt as though Derevyanchenko was over thinking things a tad and wasn’t letting his hands go as much as he could’ve when in punching range which allowed Jacobs to nick the close rounds but he woke up in the championship rounds and was having real go.

Didn’t fancy the Brisbane game, and from the looks of things, might have been a good thing, as I couldn’t call it, but did assume unders would be likely. I do like the look of today’s second game in the A-League between Victory & the Glory.
Melbourne Victory v Perth Glory:
Victory were very unlucky against Melbourne City last round, getting a dodgy penalty decision be awarded against them. For most of the game, they were the superior side, dominating a lot of possession and I maintain my view from last week that they will be challenging for the title this year. Toivonen still won’t be making his debut today, but Honda is looking sharp already, and should punish the opposition.
Glory ground out a 1-1 draw against the Wanderers last round, but will be without key player Castro heading into this one. They have a host of other absentees, and I don’t like their chances against a superior Victory side.

Morning lads
Man Utd v Everton
Man Utd to win at 3/4*****
Man Utd to win -1 asian handicap at 2.200*****
The importance of this game for Man Utd shouldn’t be underestimated as they sit 7 points off the top four places and 12 points behind leaders Liverpool and that is shocking to say the least. With the massive amount of money spent by Mourihno he simply has to get a result here otherwise i think he will be sacked. Now what is even more embarrassing for the club is Martial and De Gea not signing new contracts and if these two don’t then Man Utd are simply not going to attract the big players whats more is that if they finish outside the top four they aren’t going to attract the big players so the pressure to win this game is on and i think Mourihno will go all out to get a result here.I can’t see this being a dull game i fully envisage Man Utd getting in Everton’s faces from the off and collecting 3 vital points, but this doesn’t paper over the cracks it only bides Mourihno time as he brings the club down even further ;-).
Correct score 3-1
Best of luck

Yesterday was a tough day on paper so well down with the big win mr fixit. Kilmarnock downed my acca.
Placed o2.5 cards at leicester, juve to win while 1-0 down and for rangers to win today, was 7/1 so fingers crossed.
My main bets of the weekend i have posted a couple of times already, expect some fiery semi finals in Scotland. I will be at hampden to cheer on a strikerless Rangers into a final.
Hearts v Celtic – Naismith to be carded 9/4
Rangers v Aberdeen – Shinnie to be carded 5/2
I have also went for 20+ booking points each team and added in the el clasico – 16/5
Final games of the mls regular season tonight, there is no value in the teama that have to win as bookies have cut the prices so short. Think dc already mentioned o2.5 all games is 66/1.

Morning gents
WHAT a day we have in store, some cracking matches at home and on the continent. I’ll
Be focusing on two massive games in the Scottish league cup where 4 of our biggest clubs meet
Aberdeen v Rangers (4.30pm)
You have to say Steven Gerrard has done a terrific job since he took over at Ibrox, they look destined to progress passed the Europe league group stages which is a fabulous achievement and they now have a cup semi final to look forward
At home they have been terrific but they have struggled to replicate that form on the road. The big wide pitch of Hampden will definitely suite them though.
Aberdeen have had some what of a disappointing start to the season. After finishing second the last few seasons, they find themselves languishing in 8th place well off the pace. Don’s boss Derek McInnes talks a lot about performances but he needs a result more than a performance.
As we know there is no love lost between these two sides and it should be a bruising encounter but for me the momentum is with Rangers, they are full of confidence and will be backed by 30,000 fans, more than double of what Aberdeen have.
Aberdeen are still a dangerous side and will cause Rangers, especially Gary McKay-Stevens but they have been toothless up front this season
and that will be their downfall here today as Rangers run out winners
Recommendation
Rangers to beat Aberdeen
13/15 (Sportpesa) (NAP)
Hearts v Celtic (1.30pm)
What a match this should be – 67,000 fans will
decend upon the home of Rugby at Murrayfield
I think we’ll see goals and I think Celtic will win but I think the booking markets look appealing
Step forward Hearts pair Peter Haring and Steven Naismith
It’s not surprises to see Haring leading the way in the player to be carded market and he’ll have a job on his hand trying to contain that Celtic attack The big Austrian has been a terrific find for hearts but I’m taking him to receive a card
Next up is another terrific summer acquisition in Steven Naismith. He has been outstanding and is the leagues top scorer
He does suffer from little man syndrome though and being an ex rangers players there will be no love lost today.
He’s already been booked 5 times this season which is ridiculous for a striker. He struggles to contain his emotions in these big games and I think he looks a great shout to receive another card today
Recommendations
Peter Haring ( Hearts) to receive a card 6/4
Steven Naismith (Hearts to receive a card 9/4
(Bet365)
Man united v Everton
Nothing flash here – United need a result, they are at home and you’d ike to think some of the United players may actually turn up and put in a performance. If they do they will be too good for Everton.
A very reasonable price for United today and I’m happy to take it and see them collect three points
Recommendation
Man United to beat Everton
4/5 (Betbright)
Don’t forgot the MLS games later
Naismith is 3-1 at Betfair to be carded mate.

In MLS last year final regular season all matches went over 1.5 and 2.5 goals .
It’s been posted about skybet specials on the 100/1 that’s been clipped in to 66/1 on over 2.5 goals but is well worth a go
Just like to also point in this over 1.5 MLS goals.
****4/1 skybet special****
****Over 1.5 goals for all matches****
The American crowd like to have entertainment and goals are always welcomed.
The forecasts are promising for goals again as race to play off and the end of season finale teams like in any league at end of season can go unreal in goals
Every MLS franchise has seen at least 70% if their matches over 1.5 goals in their 33 matches played this season .
No team average is below 2.5 total goals
This is the final match and with the average at 3.19 goals per match of course the overs 2.5 looks good.
Can all have a bit of fun with this and stake sensible on whatever you think is good value

A goal both halves (90/1) now 66/1 *****
BTTS (200/1 ) now 150/1 ***
1+ corner each half each team 500/1*** value!
Remember matches scheduled at 830 UK time however don’t kick off then as they have all the promo and advertising .
Also MLS use VAR but stats indicating that hasn’t stopped the ‘ high ‘ goal averages and hope again gives favor to the goal scored .

Could add in Columbus to boost the odds further, Columbus sit in a playoff place in the east, should have already qualified but have lost their last couple of games. Evening all, haven’t been on a while due to personal reasons. For those of you who remember I put a little paragraph on one day about backing 2+ penalties awarded in the live TV games in the premier league. I do it every week and it is very very profitable.
Today I had £7 on Palace v Arsenal game – 2+ penalties at 16/1. I then had £7 on United v Everton game – 2+ penalties at 18/1. I then had £1 on the double at 322/1.
If anyone remembered and backed it then well in! These days come 2 or 3 times a season where you get a double up with it and it’s a glorious feeling! Enjoy!
Nice one mate..what bookies does the 2plus penalties?
Skybet mate.
Two sloppy fouls in the box by Arsenal allowed Palace back into the game, downs the NAP.
Also the longshot let down by no Feyenoord goal, in hindsight should’ve just kept to Over 2.5 for that match but felt Feyenoord could nick one.
Saying that the 4/1 team goals has landed so please with that. Well done all winners.

Rotten Rangers!!
Lewis 28/1 to be carded after goal went in. Time wasting keepers making me rich 😂
fraser who do you do your in play bets with mate , that`s a couple of good wins this week for you.
Bet365 was midweek, they never had card markets inplay so it was skybet today.
Thats me home, no creativity from Rangers, another big game loss, getting tougher to take!
Think i will just become a fan of the mls 😂
cheers
That’s ok but mentioning bets after they win is pointless.
Paul i was at the game my first thought of placing a bet isnt to run on to the site.
I post plenty pre match so jog on
I don’t think it’s pointless at all. I think it’s often helpful in retrospect. Was a shrewd bet fraser51. Well done!
Cheers @shortee
The fact he takes penalties as well makes the odds seem even more generous 😆

‘Posting this before I head to bed, in case the odds change by the time I get up.
Gylfi Sigurdsson likes a goal at Old Trafford, and at 12/1 First/Last Goalscorer, as well as 4/1 ATGS, I’m all over those 3 bets.
Worth a couple of bob on each.’
Smashing Last Goalscorer and ATGS winners at 12/1 and 4/1 😆
Well done 👏
