SCOTTISH reserve action tonight and I've been provided with some useful insight regarding this game
Airdrie Reserves v Albion Rovers Reserves (7.30 pm)
So, Airdrie have just appointed former St Mirren and Dumbarton Manager Ian Murray in what looks to be an astute piece of business.
They welcome probably the worst team in senior British football who were embarrassingly knocked out of the Scottish cup at the weekend to a highland league side which inevitably cost manager John Brogan his job. The club are manager less and lost their last two away matches whilst Airdrie have won their last two 4-1 and 4-0
Form isn’t so important at this level as team line-ups change weekly and I've been informed Airdrie are fielding 8 first team players tonight with Ian Murray in attendance to get an understanding of who he has to work with and the quality of the squad.
I'd have fancied Airdrie to win this before hearing they are playing a strong squad – the bookies will be oblivious to this and have priced up purely based on league position and recent results. 11/10 you’re getting for Airdrie at the moment. I expect this to go off at no better than 1/2
Albion are manager less, the club is in disarray , Airdrie have a new manager and will be playing a strong side – Home Win. Get on it early
Recommended Bet
- Airdrie to beat
- 11/10 (Bet365) (NAP)
- Airdrie HT/FT
- 5/2 (Bet365)
Good shout Greg, but 365 have already slashed those prices 2/5 & ~Evens
Shame it’s already lost value. Clearly a knowledgable shout mate. It would only take
A few hundred maybe a thousand staked on b365 for them to cut liability
Sometimes just needs a couple of bets from shrewdies for them to be alerted to the fact they might have got it wrong.
Depends on how carefully they’re looking at all the bets coming in. They could see a pattern that worries them.
Yeah these games don’t attract much money usually
Would have only taken a couple of decent singles to alert the bookies.
Currently getting 25% of my total stake offered as cashout over and above the full stake – not often you see that
Watch Albion win 😂😂 (sorry)
2 + first half goals is 4/5 with Ladbrokes, Greg.
I’m going to look at the othe match too ( Ayr v Stirling), and refresh my memory on the league, but until 2 weeks ago the average mgls were between 4 and 5. I got caught out though last time when one went under 2.5 I think.
I’ll have a butchers after me steak pie 🥧
1/4 on now Airdrie are, and 2+ fhgls down to 3/4
Yeah cracking league for goals mate – like you say most game see 4 or 5 goals
This is crazy Greg Airdrie were 1/7 a few minutes ago!!😜😜😜
2 goals in a minute bully 2, wonder if Airdrie have the wind behind them 💨
Absolutely smashing stuff Greg thank you very much!!!!
Stamp collector I don’t know about you but I have never known a team go from evens to 1/4 when the match started absolute cracker😂😂😂
Before Airdries first they went from 1/4 to 1/7….did a HT/F/T when at 0-0 at 4/5 along with Ayr v Stirling >1.5 fhgls when that was at 1-0..👍💷👍
There can be quite an imbalance now in these leagues as they’ve gone from u21s to Reserves…some teams mix and match youngsters with seniors who are on fringes of first team/coming back to fitness etc..as possibly tonight one side has experienced first teamers trying to impress against predominantly younger team.
Absolutely mate. Team news now for these games is a absolute must wit teams now able To play as many senior players as they like
4-0 now – weighed in weighed in 👍🏼✅
Bully, happens a lot in these matches mate – bookies price up based on league position but have no idea about team news – then the money comes in like it did today and they slash it – by that time it’s damage limitation for them
Cheers Greg. Appriciate the time and effort you put in.
Best bit of info I’ve read all year.
Class mate 👏👏👏
