LOOKS like a day for backing the favourites and keeping things simple.
Poland v Ireland (7.45pm)
The Irish were absolutely humiliated by Wales last week and it doesn’t get any easier – Poland in my opinion are a better side than Wales and that does not bode well for Martin O’Neill’s side.
It may only be a friendly but the Poles are terrific value at 3-5 and should be backed to win this against an Irish side who have a lot of rebuilding to do as this squad has come to the end of its shelf life.
Iceland v Belguim (7.45pm)
The visitors will be popular here, not just because they are the third best side in the world and have talent right throughout their squad and managed to thrash Scotland but because Iceland come into this off the back of a humiliating 6-0 defeat by Switzerland.
They have done exceptionally well over the last two years to qualify for back-to-back tournaments and I’m not saying the wheels have come off but you have to fear for them tonight. Belgium will be backed heavily for goals and the handicap markets but I'm keeping it simple and taking them to just to win.
- Poland/Belgium double (11-10, bet365) (NAP)

A really big fan of over 1.5 match goals in in internaitonal games – you get really good value and only need a couple of games for evens or above.
Have picked out a treble that shouldnt be far away – Poland could bring this in on their own (see above) while England have more than enough firepower to score 2 against the Swiss. My favourite team of the moment Austria will fancy their chances of grabbing a goal away at Bosnia in a match were BTTS has a good chance.
Over 1.5 Match Goals Treble
- Poland v Ireland
- England v Switzerland
- Bosnia v Austria
- (8-5, Marathonbet)
Poland spoiled the party.
Look forward to the usual footy and those Friday night French tips Mr B.
