LOOKS like maccathered has been hammering his Ladbrokes account with the firm revealing the most popular picks with punters for the Premier League title since the first ball was kicked this season.
As things stand Liverpool are running away with it in terms of bets placed with 42 per cent of punters backing them.
Meanwhile, the rest of the top four – according to customers – will be made up of Man United, Arsenal and Man City – leaving Tottenham and Chelsea to settle for fifth and sixth respectively.
As for the other end of the table Southampton are the least popular pick, followed by Huddersfield and Bournemouth.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “City may be odds-on favourites to go all the way this year but as far as the popularity charts are concerned Pep's men will have to settle for a top four finish.”
One punter stands to win £75k if Liverpool top the table. He placed £15,000 on Jurgen Klopp's side when they were 4-1 in the outright betting – they are now 5-2.
And at the other end of the table, having been among the frontrunners for the drop a month ago at 15-8, Watford are now 12/1 to go down. It's another story for West Ham who have seen their odds fall to 5-2 from 7-1 following four consecutive defeats.
Jose Mourinho has seen his Sack Race odds take a drastic tumble from 20-1 before the season to 3-1 while Sadio Mane is the biggest market mover in the Golden Boot betting – from 50-1 to 9-1.

The Sack Race is an interesting one. I’ve been following Skybet’s book and my pre-season pick was Mark Hughes at 12/1 (now 8) I thought he’d struggle from the off, and he did with just one point from the first 9 but he’s on a run of 2/2 wins now and looks much safer. Pellegrini was 20 to begin with but West Ham are shocking and look at him now at 7/2. Peul was 7/2 fav but he’s out to 8. Mourinho has breached the odds on/against line after the Spurs defeat and was down to 10/11 but as you say is now 3. And Sean Dyche’s seemingly concrete position at Burnley hasn’t stopped his odds falling from 33s to 18, but now with the Europa out of the way surely we can expect a resurgence of sorts at Turf Moor?
Unfortunately for Pellegrini his next 3 games are Everton (A) Chelsea (H) and Man Utd (H) He’s a nice sort of guy and I have a soft spot for him after the way he was outed at Man City but I fear he could be first to go if West Ham don’t get at least 5 points from those 3 games – but it’s hard to see them getting even one.

Agree with you – could be Pellegrini.
