CAROUSE (1.50) can get the day off to a flying start in the 1m claimer at Lingfield.
Andrew Balding's three-year-old finished strongly to account for Daltrey (runs 5.45 Wolverhampton) over 7f here last month. That form looks pretty solid as the William Haggas-trained Completion came out and score with plenty in hand at Newcastle.
Bungee Jump steps up significantly in distance after hunting up Count Otto over six furlongs last week.
If Corouse runs well it will be a big pointer to the prospects of BREAKING RECORDS (6.15) at Wolverhampton.
Hugo Palmer's colt finished fourth to Carouse, running on steadily and leaving the impression he would improve next time out.
NEFYN BAY (4.30) looks a solid bet on Musselburgh’s midweek card.
He showed a liking for the track when scoring over fences last month and races off a 4lb lower mark now reappearing over hurdles. Factor in Abbie McCain’s 7lb claim and Nefyn Bay should be capable of beating some exposed rivals.
SUPRISE VENDOR (3.30) returned to form at Newcastle when third to in-form Lord County and races off his lowest mark since scoring at Ayr 12 months ago. At odds of around 7-1 the top weight makes plenty of appeal as an each way punt.
NENDRUM (4.00) could upset a couple of better fancied runners.
He made all to score by 24 lengths here on January 3 and was turned out eight days later at Catterick when running second to Steel City. That form has worked out well, with third horse Hit And Run chasing home Reverend Crust at Catterick on Monday and fourth horse Hartside scoring at Doncaster last week.
