THERE are some decent games in Europe’s main leagues on tonight.

Let’s start in Serie A where Fiorentina face Napoli and Inter Milan take on Bologna.

To be honest both slightly favour the away team but I wouldn’t be surprised if both ended in draws.

Fiorentina are 29-20 favourites with William Hill against a side who have a massive Champions League tie with Chelsea on Tuesday.

Napoli, 11-5 at Betfred and BetVictor, have had patchy away form, losing two of their last three to Siena and Genoa but can’t afford too many slip-ups as they try to stay in touch with the Champions League places.

On the other hand Fiorentina have won their last two home games against Udinese and Siena and I don’t think they’ll lose this one. Go draw at 11-5 (various) while on the double chance it’s Napoli or draw at 4-7 with William Hill.

Inter looked like they’d turned their season round with seven wins on the spin but the last three results have been disastrous. Claudio Ranieri’s men were held 4-4 at home to Palermo then lost 4-0 at Roma. But worse was to come with Sunday’s 1-0 defeat at home to Novara.

Ranieri is in the spotlight again and confidence looks fragile ahead of a visit to the San Siro by Bologna.

Bologna are difficult to break down and have conceded just two goals in five games. With Inter failing to score in four of their last five the best way to go here is under 2.5 goals at
21-20 with William Hill.

In the Championship Reading host a Burnley side whose only defeat in their last six was an expected one at Southampton.

Reading are also a team in form with four wins on the bounce. It should be closely-fought and with the Royals having suffered 1-0 defeats at home to Hull and Stevenage this year the visitors could be overpriced at 7-2 with William Hill.

Best policy could be to keep the draw on side and back Burnley at 1-1 with unibet on the double chance (not to lose).

Reading, who have won only eight of their 16 home matches, are a best 10-11 at BetVictor while the draw pays 13-5 with boylesports.

The last four Reading matches and three of Burnley’s last four haven’t seen both teams to score and all eight matches have gone under 2.5 goals.

If the promotion chasers cancel out each other it could be another unders game (3-4, BetVictor) while no to both teams to score pays 1-1 at BetVictor.

Hoffenheim meet Mainz in the Bundesliga with Markus Babbel taking charge of the team for the first time. If new boss syndrome works as well in Germany as does in the UK then it should be a home win at 5-4 at BetVictor.

Hoffenheim have lost just once at home this season but drawn six and hammered Mainz 4-0 away last September.

In truth there is little between the teams so draw at 5-2 with bet365 is possible. I’ll be getting splinters at this rate!

One game I can’t see ending all square is Heerenveen v Breda in the Dutch league. Third-placed Heerenveen have won five of their last six at home and there 11 matches have featured 44 goals.

Breda, with just one away success, could find themselves on the end of a heavy defeat so try over 3.5 goals at 4-7 with bet365. Heerenveen are a biggest 4-11 with Stan James to win.

Burnley or draw double chance

(1-1, unibet)

Inter v Bologna under 2.5 goals

(21-20, William Hill)

Paul when will you put up your both teams to score for sat mate.
    I like the look of
Ipswich v Cardiff (2-2 last time out)
Chesterfield v sheff weds (early ko might leave it)
Yeovil v Colchester (Yeovil the team to follow at the minute for both teams)
Leyton orient v scunthorpe ( best league 1 side for both teams all season so far)
Southend v crewe ( looks like a 4-2 Crewe win)
Dundee u v st mirren ( history points to a 2-2 or score draw)

Reece, will be up tonight sometime. Got my shortlist and Ipswich, Yeovil and Southend games are on it. History points to goals at Tannadice but I reckon United will win it comfortably and not sure if St Mirren will score. In the SPL I was looking at Dunfermline v ICT or Motherwell v Hearts.

Reece, it’s funny how the games went. You and I thought alike and of the six you put up the only one I’d have rejected straight away was Chesterfield. Ipswich v Cardiff beat me for 20-1 line in he Record and Dundee Utd v St Mirren never looked a 0-0 although it turned out to be a dreadful game with few chances. This is why btts is a fun bet more than anything else and one that relies a lot on luck.
