BARRY HAWKINS potted the World Grand Prix title last night with a 10-7 win over Ryan Day and now the snooker circuit heads to Cardiff for the Welsh Open.
It's the last of the season's Home Nations series and Ronnie O'Sullivan defends his crown after winning the tournament a record fifth time last year.
He is title favourite at 5-1 with Coral while Hawkins is a 25-1 shot at bet365 and other runners and riders include Mark Selby at 6-1 with Skybbet, Judd Trump at 10s with Boylesports and John Higgins at 14-1 with Sportingbet.

The Warriors will head to Denver who will still be without two starters, with Mudiay still questionable. Should cover the -5 with ease against a Nuggets side giving up 121 points over their last three.
Memphis are also on the road and have a very good record against the Nets. 4-0 straight up over the last three seasons and 2-0 against the spread in Brooklyn. Took an L against the Warriors last time out so they should get back in the winners circle tonight and -3 looks easy. I’ve said before, teams that play fast paced ball against good defenses usually come short, and there is no faster paced team in the league than Brooklyn. The Nets have 2 wins in their last 30 and are pretty much set in stone for the first pick in the draft. Be VERY surprised if they keep this one close.
Odds on the Warriors have been smashed so you won’t get anywhere near this price anymore.
I’m on board @jordan but had to go with -3.5 and -5.5 with Bet365 to get anyway decent odds. -5 for GSW is now 1/6 with SkyBet!

The above is 0.85/1 at Bet365 but as Jordan says, SkyBet have slashed their odds on the Warriors! With SkyBet not offering the void on 3 way bets, -3.5 and -5.5 both offer the same bet I think? :S
You’re not wrong but obviously no voids.
Maybe I’m wrong but I don’t think the -3 or -5 would be void either as the draw option is available on those bets. I think that’s why SkyBet offer the same odds regardless of whether it’s -3 or -3.5. They both lose if the team wins by 3 and both win if the team wins by 4. As I say, I may be wrong but that’s my interpretation of SkyBets rules. The void only comes into play when it is not a 3-way on offer.
Merv, 365 do the round numbers. You have to click on alternate point spread. My above double pays 3/4 there, and 1/2 @ Skybet.
Are the round numbers voidable on SkyBet Jordan since the draw play is also offered? I put a post up about this the other night because I don’t understand why they do it
Had a good rummage around SkyBet help and seem to have found the answer…
“When a handicap tie occurs, and no draw selection is offered (known as a “push”), bets will be made void.”
As SkyBet offers the draw on full point handicaps, there would be no void option.

Hi Jordan been following your great tips mate, I was wondering if you can help, I understand you work in the betting industry as a trader? Over the last few months my sky bet account has been getting capped on almost every betting market and with no notice today they have not credited my account with the usual £5 weekly free bet, I chatted to the online ‘help’ only to get to a blunt response of a trader has restricted your account and I’m no longer eligible to the weekly free bet, I asked to get an email of a manager or trader to get an explanation but was quickly shut down with the response the traders are not customer facing and theres nothing I can do. I told them I thought this was awful customer service and told them this and he said the traders can do this without notice. Have you any experience of this? Or any help of an explanation. Sorry to bother you but I’m not thrilled
@cocoforza, first off had a poor run on here as of late but they don’t come too often, so thanks. Secondly, have you been doing well? This is the only reason they will cap your stakes imo. I have had it, but luckily I have a couple accounts with multiple bookies (different email/names/bank details). I am a trader but we work through an exchange, but can suspended or limit traders accounts if they are doing well, or suspicious betting. Maybe @mr-fixit could shed a bit more light, but I know bookies are very hush hush when it comes to limiting accounts and as a punter there’s not much we can do.
Thanks @Jordan for getting back to me , They started capping my bets after a I won a few £200/300 staked bets nothing to break the bank, now they limit all bets, and today they stopped my £5 free bet not a lot i can do I threatened to close my account as ive done so in the past with other bookmakers and have received free bets to stay but was quickly shot down by them, Ive sent them a Tweet complaining but they want to DM and keep it hush
Not a lot you can do except move on. It’s poor customer service but once they decide they don’t want you that’s it.
