About The 2022 World Cup

The 2022 FIFA World Cup will be the 22nd staging of the FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial international men’s football championship contested by the national teams of the member associations of FIFA.

2022 FIFA World Cup will begin on Monday 21st November when Host nation Qatar face Ecuador in the opening match of the tournement. The final takes place on Sunday 18th December.

This is the last year of 32 teams. Being expanded to 48 nations in 2026. FIFA World Cup™ will be staged in Canada, Mexico and the United States

For those based in the United Kingdom the games will be shown on ITV and the BBC, soccer fans in the United States will be shown World Cup games live on Fox and Telemundo. In Australia the games will be shown on SBS and Optus.

2012 Host nation South Africa, the games will be shown on SuperSport and New World TV. In Germany the games will be shown on ARD and ZDF.
