Our Goals Acca Tips are based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Arsenal vs Crystal Palace – Both Teams to Score (Wednesday,19:30)
Arsenal entertain Crystal Palace at the Emirates in the EFL Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday night.
Mikel Arteta’s side blew a chance to close the gap on Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table when being held to a 0-0 draw by Everton on Saturday.
Crystal Palace, meanwhile, continued their climb up the top-flight table with a 3-1 win away at Brighton.
Both teams have scored in four of the Eagles’ last five matches and each side to oblige again is the call in this all-capital cup tie.
Newcastle to Score 2+ (Wednesday, 19:45)
Newcastle United and Brentford will battle it out for place in the semi-finals of the EFL Cup on Wednesday night.
Eddie Howe’s side will head into this game following a resounding 4-0 win over Leicester last weekend.
Brentford, in contrast, will make the long trip north after losing 2-1 away at Chelsea on Sunday.
The Magpies struck twice away from home against Brentford earlier this month and they can repeat the trick at St James’ Park.
Liverpool to Score 2+ (Wednesday, 20:00)
Liverpool continue their EFL Cup defence when they take on Southampton in the last-eight on Wednesday night.
The Reds will be looking to get back up and running after being held to a 2-2 draw at home to Fulham last time out.
Opponents Southampton were trounced 5-0 by Tottenham on Sunday and swiftly removed manager Russel Martin after the game.
The Saints have shipped two or more goals in five of their last six home games and they should suffer the same fate against Arne Slot’s side.
Villarreal vs Rayo Vallecano – Both Teams to Score (Wednesday, 20:30)
Villarreal and Rayo Vallecano will square off against each other at the Estadio de la Ceramica in La Liga on Wednesday night.
The home team will be looking to halt their four game run without a win after losing to Real Betis in their most recent league game.
As for Vallecano, they shared six goals with reigning Spanish and European champions Real Madrid last Saturday.
Both teams have hit the back of the net in all but three of the hosts' 16 league games this season and that trend should continue in Castellon.
