It will be fascinating to see how Manchester City react to their FA Cup Final defeat when they return to Premier League action against AFC Bournemouth tonight.
Pep Guardiola's men can't afford to suffer a hangover as they need at least a point to move back into the top five ahead of the final round of fixtures.
Missing out on the Champions League would be a disaster for City but it won't be easy against a Bournemouth side who have made a habit of upsetting the big guns under Andoni Iraola.
Manchester City v AFC Bournemouth top betting tips
Bournemouth still have plenty to play for as they hunt down an eighth-placed finish that might be enough to secure European football for the first time in the club's history.
City's defence continues to look vulnerable so we should see goals at both ends tonight. BTTS pays just 4/7 at BoyleSports but combining it with no draw boosts the odds to 6/5.
Guardiola's side have fired blanks in their two games since Erling Haaland returned from injury, having enjoyed their best run of the season while the Norwegian was sitting on the sidelines.
That will give Guardiola a selection headache tonight as he can't afford any more slip-ups. With the City boss likely to make changes after Wembley it's best staying away from player bets.
Corners look like the best options for punters in a game both teams need to win. Over 10.5 match corners is 21/20 at BoyleSports while backing both teams to win over 1.5 first-half corners is 23/20.
Crystal Palace v Wolverhampton Wanderers top betting tips
There will be a party atmosphere at Selhurst Park tonight as the FA Cup heroes return to Premier League action against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Some Crystal Palace fans will still be on a bender and it would only be natural if the players were a little off it tonight after their own weekend celebrations.
That makes Wolves decent value at 7/4 with BoyleSports for the win but backing Vitor Pereira's men to score first looks a safer bet at 11/10.
This is a dead rubber with both teams having nothing to play for so I'd be surprised if we saw a lot of cards dished out.
Under 2.5 cards pays 5/4 with Bet365 and the same firm offer odds of 6/4 if you bet against both teams picking up a card.
York City vs Oldham Athletic
The National League play-offs are coming to the boil and York City host Oldham Athletic tonight in the semi-finals.
York finished second in the table, a massive 23 points ahead of fifth-placed Oldham, and that earned them direct entry to the semis.
The Latics battered Halifax 4-0 in their quarter-final but BoyleSports now make them 3/1 outsiders away from home.
Theres' only one leg in these ties and York are 3/4 to get the job done in normal time. Adding on over 1.5 goals boosts the odds to 23/20.
Oldham can take heart from the fact they drew 1-1 on their last visit to Bootham Crescent just a few weeks ago. But that's the only time York have dropped points in their last seven outings so they should get the job done,
Striker Ollie Pearce is on 31 goals for the season and he's a decent 7/5 at Bet365 for anytime scorer tonight.
Tuesday's Super Singles
- Both teams over 1.5 first-half corners at the Etihad 23/20 BoyleSports

Over 2.5 goals double for tonight in the Prem, City need to win and Palace will still be celebrating and who can blame them…Arsenal fans have stooped to new lows after trying to compare points totals with Liverpool’s, the fact is Liverpool are Champions because they have been the best team all season. Arsenal can take comfort in the fact that they were the best team in the champions league. Liverpool already planning for next seasons title bid.
Best of luck
Remember when we finished with over 90 odd points behind city and arsenal fans were saying we bottled it
Yeah 97 points and we bottled it lol, never seen them hit that total, we was up against a good City side but we did take a title against them so all good.
This is a Tuesdays Football tips post yet Liverpool and Arsenal getting mentioned and they dont play tonight. Strange
Are we not allowed to mention them on Tuesdays, funny thing is these posts about me mentioning other teams are coming from people that never post or very rarely at best, if you don’t like the posts scroll on simple.
just a straight forward question here..
Why is everything compared to what Liverpool can do or what they did ???
Surely you can make judgement on the abilities ( or lack of) on the teams that are playing on the day/ night
for example Man City v Bournemouth tonite, but Liverpool are brought into the equation on your summary of tonites match..
a couple of weeks ago when Arsenal were playing PSG, for some reason you could not resist in bringing Mo Salah into the discussion..
i,m scratching my head as to who you are obsessed with more, is it Man Utd or Arteta ??
That’s just macca for you if your a regular you just take it with a pinch of salt lol but what’s more funny is macca’s little minions everytime he says a comment on united arteta etc there’s always a couple straight on licking his bum yes macca i agree with you 🤣🤣 and just to make it clear I’ve no problem with macca its all a bit of friendly banter between me and him…
Longstanding contributors on this site will remember exactly the same thing used to happen back when Man U were once a decent team.
In fact, certain Man U supporters regularly tried to wind up Macca. However, now the proverbial boot is on the other foot.
Criticising rival teams (in good humour) is all part of the game – especially when their players or managers make spectacularly stupid decisions or perform badly.
I’m sure Liverpool will eventually have a bad patch, and the cycle will repeat itself.
Until then, don’t take anything said on here personally – it’s only a game, after all 👍😉
You wouldn’t understand the rivalries etc, anything said is a bit of banter, I mean we have had Arsenal fans come on at the start of the Season giving it some so it’s kinda payback time. It’s a human thing light hearted if you like. Your world boabee8867 is pretty dull so having a crack is impossible, I bet your fun to have a pint with.
De bruyne 1 sot evens
Eze to score outside of area 16-1
Both skybet
Deano if you ask nicely I might lick yours 😉
Now let’s all get back to helping each other beat the bookies
Thank God I scrolled back too see the rest of this conversation and got the context of ‘Deano if you ask nicely I might lick yours 😉’
Panic pver
It’ll be interesting to see how many United fans come out of the woodwork if they win the Europa, wait for it haha.
Some bets I have taken, done them early as prices will shorten even further.
Sunday
Bournemouth to win at 4/11
Aston Villa to win 8/11
Newcastle to win at 4/11
Arsenal to win at 4/11
Bournemouth’s last home game should see them winning, Villa are away at Man Utd but have to pick up the points to stand any chance of Champions League football next season, Newcastle are at home and Champions league football is in their hands win and it’s a done deal. Arsenal away at lowly Southampton speaks for itself.
Forest v Chelsea
Forest to win at 11/5 (NAP)
Red card in the match
A must win game for both clubs and a difficult away day for Chelsea. Chelsea are coming on leaps and bounds now the team is gelling but they aren’t worthy favourites here. Forest will give them a game and win Imo…
Fulham v Man City
Fulham double chance at 5/4
Fulham to win at 4/1
The last place City will want to go to, Fulham on their day can beat anyone at home so if they turn up here City could be in for a long afternoon, Fulham cam from behind to beat Brentford away so will have confidence.
£1 lucky 31 £31 on both European finals and the 3 play off finals to be decided on pens, pays around 13 grand for all correct.
Best of luck
If pick notts forest to come fourth you can get 9-1 or 5-1 for fifth place seems a better bet macca
Canny see PSG not giving Inter a pasting tbh
That’s what they said about Barcelona master look how that turned out. I’m on Inter to win it.
Wolves over 1.5 goals tonight 6/4
Red card in city game
Kevin De Bruyne with the best miss of the season, haha
I thought Salah’s miss was up there 😆
So did I mate, till tonight, what an embarrassing way to sign off hahaha
