England kick off the defence of their European Under-21 crown against the Czech Republic tonight and the bookies make them hot favourites to get off to a flier.
While the Three Lions have been serial underachievers at senior level, the same can't be said of their youth side and they've ruled Europe three times as well as winning the Under-20 World Cup in 2017.
Coach Lee Carsley has taken a strong squad to the finals and it would be a surprise if they slipped up against a Czech side who came through the play-offs to secure their place in Slovakia.
Czech Republic U21s vs England U21s top betting tips
BoyleSports make England heavy favourites at just 4/9 so it's tricky finding value but you can boost those odds to 5/4 by backing Carsley's side to be winning at half-time and full-time.
The Three Lions averaged over four goals a game in qualifying and their two warm-up games for the finals were both thrillers. A 5-3 loss to France was followed by a 4-2 victory over Portugal so that suggests we should see a few goals.
Over 3.5 goals looks decent at 7/5 with BoyleSports while the odds are also good in the player markets. Arsenal winger Ethan Nwaneri has the potential to be one of the stars of the tournament and is 2/1 to get underway with a goal.
Germany U21s vs Slovenia U21s
Germany were a major disappointment at the last Under-21 Euros and they will be out to make amends when they take on Slovenia in the other Group B game.
After ruling Europe twice and finishing runners-up once between 2017 and 2021, the Germans failed to make it out of the group stage two years ago.
But coach Antonio Di Salvo has them flying again and Germany went undefeated in qualifying, racking up eight wins and two draws.
They also claimed an impressive 3-1 win over Spain in their last friendly so could be capable of going all the way this summer.
BoyleSports make them 4/11 favourites for a win over Slovenia but you can boost the odds to 13/8 by backing them to win to nil. The Germans are also a tempting 21/20 at -1 in the handicap.
It will be interesting to see if star striker Nick Woltemade starts for Germany, having played twice for the senior side in the last week at the Nations League finals. He's just 4/5 for a goal at BoyleSports so I'm more drawn to fellow attacker Nicolo Tresoldi at 11/8 in the same market.
Finland U21s vs Netherlands U21s
The Dutch are always worth watching at Under-21 level because they continue to produce top talent and they kick off their Group D campaign against Finland.
The Finns have only graced these finals once, back in 2009, and qualified via the play-offs so it's no great surprise to see them as BoyleSports' 11/2 outsiders.
The Netherlands breezed through qualifying, winning all 10 matches while averaging over three goals a game, and that has made them hot favourites at 4/11,
Utrecht forward Noah Ohio was the main man in that qualifying romp, netting seven times, and looks good at 6/5 with BoyleSports for anytime scorer.
Over 2.5 Dutch goals also appeals at 5/4, given that bet landed in all but one of their qualifying fixtures.
