AFTER relegation from Ligue 1, Troyes look like they are finally starting to find their feet and look massively overpriced to win at home.
Troyes v Auxerre (7.45pm)
It’s been a rude awakening for this Troyes side as they have really struggled to adapt to life in Ligue 2. After an opening-day win they went on a run of 5 straight league defeats.
You could argue they played some teams on top of their game in that winless run but since the international break they beat a good Niort side and claimed a creditable 1-1 away at Le Havre so I'm really surprised to see them priced up as big as 17/10, especially against a struggling side like Auxerre.
The visitors are on the same number of points as Troyes but there couldn’t be a bigger contrast in form – no win in 4 league games (3 defeats and a draw) and no goals scored. There's no way Troyes should be 17/10 to win this against a side who are clearly in a bad place at the moment, losing matches and zero threat going forward.
Taking Troyes to continue their revival by making home advantage count.
Recommended Bets
- Troyes to beat Auxerre
- 17/10 (BetVictor) (NAP)
English Development League U23 (KO 7pm)
There are 6 matches tonight kicking off at 7pm and Sky Bet for the first time have offered these games in their specials. They only offer 5 games (excluding the Arsenal one) but having looked at the them at least 3 of them look like they could easily go over 3.5 goals.
They are offering 17+ goals at 10/11 which I think is worth taking. These games aren’t too dissimilar to the Scottish reserve matches in that lots of games have 4+ goals in them.
Recommended Bet
- English Development league – 17+ goals to be scored
- 10/11 (Skybet)
Greg who do you fancy at the Belgium reserve league today and also from the Scotland reserve league too?
Always back Sint Truiden and Kortrijk in the Belgium games mate
Only Hibs v hearts today from SPFL reserve league but leaving it out on the basis they are two good teams so could cancel Each other out
Was going to wait till team news comes out for the Edinburgh reserve derby, Greg; we know about Hibs goalscoring matches ( in last years development league anyway) and Hearts have some first team experience players which may get run out; also highly rated recent signing Sean Clare ( From Sheff We’d) May get some game time dependent on how his trading/fitness are. Both around mid table at moment, but I can see BTTS and overs for this one.
Yeah team news important now that there’s is no restriction on the number of 1st team players who can play – I’ve left it but fingers crossed mate
Thanks Greg….the under23 development league am thinking of picking all the matches there but will exclude the arsenal game…What do u think?
Should be goals in all the games – the sky at special is 5 games of the 6 and is 10/11 for 17+ goals but no harm in doing all 6 over 2.5
