Three of Europe’s major leagues will play full rounds on Sunday, which means we’re in for 10 La Liga matches kicking off at the same time in the evening.

Anyone who follows the Spanish top flight knows how competitive this season has been outside the top four. With two rounds remaining, there are a full 12 teams that could still mathematically be relegated. At the same time, there are seven that have a chance to qualify for Europe at the last minute.

That’s exactly why you shouldn’t miss this crucial round, so check out our expert tips and predictions for all La Liga matches below.

Today’s La Liga betting tips & predictions

Athletic Bilbao vs. Celta Vigo (6pm)

Athletic Bilbao are in danger of spending next season without European football, needing two wins to qualify.

Celta Vigo are in a much better position, and a win will guarantee them a spot in UEFA competitions overall, but they’ll likely need two to play in the Europa League.

Bilbao have obvious problems scoring goals, but they usually play well against Celta Vigo. This is a difficult match to predict, so we’ll go with BTTS.

Atletico Madrid vs. Girona (6pm)

Atletico Madrid have a secure spot in the top four, and winning isn’t that crucial, while for Girona, the three points could make the difference between survival and relegation.

For this match, however, we’ll make a completely different bet, influenced by something entirely unrelated. Antoine Griezmann will take the field at the Metropolitano for the last time before leaving the team, and this will also be his 500th match for Atletico Madrid.

The team will be playing for him, and in our opinion, it’s worth betting on him to score a goal.

Atletico Madrid vs. Girona top betting tip: Antoine Griezmann to score anytime

Elche vs. Getafe (6pm)

Elche will try to widen the gap to the relegation zone, but Getafe are coming out to secure a spot in Europe.

The visitors are living proof that in modern football, you can achieve a lot even with strictly defensive football. By comparison, Elche, who sit at the bottom of the table, have scored 16 more goals this season.

Furthermore, Elche are in great form at home, which is precisely why we believe Getafe won’t manage to keep a clean sheet in this match and will have to work harder.

Levante vs. Mallorca (6pm)

This is shaping up to be the most important match of the season for Levante and Mallorca, given that both teams are in the relegation zone with 39 points each.

Interestingly, both teams have shown improvement in recent weeks, but we believe Levante are far more impressive at the moment, especially at home.

The Frogs have won their last four home games, some of which were against teams in the top half of the table.

Levante vs. Mallorca top betting tip: Levante to win

Osasuna vs. Espanyol (6pm)

In this match, we have two more teams tied on points (42) who need at least one more win to be completely sure of survival.

Both teams are in dreadful form, but it’s worth noting that Espanyol ended their 18-game winless streak when they beat Athletic Bilbao last round.

This will certainly motivate them to finish the season on a high note, but we also expect Osasuna to put up a fight.

Real Oviedo vs. Alaves (6pm)

Real Oviedo have officially been relegated and are simply playing out the season, while Alaves need wins to avoid joining them in La Liga 2.

Even against the bottom team, however, it won’t be easy for them, and we don’t expect a high-scoring match. In the last round, Alaves beat Barcelona at home, which will certainly be motivating.

Overall, this is a match we recommend avoiding, but we’d go with a narrow win for Alaves.

Real Oviedo vs. Alaves top betting tip: Alaves to win

Rayo Vallecano vs. Villarreal (6pm)

Rayo Vallecano still have a mathematical chance of qualifying for Europe, but that’s unlikely to interest them much given their upcoming Conference League final.

Villarreal, on the other hand, can cement their third-place finish in the league if they win here, but in their last match against Sevilla, they didn’t impress us with their motivation to win.

We’d rather lean toward a draw between the two teams, with 1-1 sounding very likely.

Rayo Vallecano vs. Villarreal top betting tip: BTTS, Draw

Real Sociedad vs. Valencia (6pm)

Valencia’s chances of qualifying for Europe are slim, but a win will secure their place in the league, so they have something to play for.

We can’t say the same for Real Sociedad, who have already secured a spot in the Europa League and haven’t been putting in much effort in recent weeks.

Just like the previous match we analysed, we expect a close game without too much action.

Real Sociedad vs. Valencia top betting tip: Draw

Sevilla vs. Real Madrid (6pm)

Sevilla’s three consecutive wins mean the team needs just one more victory to secure their place in the league.

The chaos behind the scenes at Real Madrid continues, so they may be much more vulnerable than usual right now. However, Sevilla haven’t beaten them at home since 2018.

It’s probably worth betting on Sevilla, or a double chance in the event of a draw, but we’ll go with BTTS again.

Barcelona vs. Real Betis (8:15pm)

Barcelona had a chance to match their record-breaking 100-point season in La Liga, but lost 1-0 to Alaves.

They still have one potential record left to break, however, and that is winning every home game this season—something no La Liga team has achieved since the league expanded to 20 teams.

Real Betis, however, are in great form and are quite capable of spoiling Barcelona’s plans. In any case, we expect a high-scoring match.

Barcelona vs. Real Betis top betting tip: Over 2.5 goals, BTTS
