The lower leagues in Scotland have been profitable territory for KevMac recently. He goes in search of more winners with his tips for today.
RAITH are starting to pick up momentum in the Championship and have the chance to blow the title race wide open when they face Inverness today.
I backed Rovers to see off Arbroath last weekend and they duly obliged to make it three wins in a row in all competitions.
But Inverness also delivered for me after I tipped them to beat Morton to nil and it’s Caley Thistle who continue to lead the way in the Championship.
Billy Dodds’ men have lost just once in the league all season yet this is one of the toughest tests they will face all season.
I’ve got a feeling Raith might just edge this and they’re 6/4 at McBookie for the victory, with Inverness only slightly bigger at 13/8.
BTTS has come up in the last five for Rovers so that could be the safest option today and it pays 17/20 with William Hill.
Third-placed Killie will make up ground if they beat Hamilton at home today and Tommy Wright’s men are hot favourites.
Kilmarnock’s best price is just 8/11 with Betway but if you back them to be winning at half-time and full-time the odds increase to 7/4 at Boylesports.
Callum Hendry netted for the third game in a row after I tipped him to score for Killie last weekend.
His confidence will be soaring so Hendry looks good value for another goal at 6/4 with McBookie.
Partick Thistle smashed six past Accies last Friday and now host a Dunfermline side in desperate need of a victory at the bottom.
Thistle’s last four games have produced 18 goals so I’m going to back more action in this one.
Over 2.5 strikes is decent for accas at 20/23 with Betfair while BTTS also appeals, although the odds aren’t great at 3/4 (SBK).
There’s better value in the anytime scorer market where Zak Rudden is 11/8 (McBookie) after netting five in his last four games for the Jags.
Don’t expect a thriller when Queen of the South host Morton. I fancy under 2.5 goals in this one at 4/5 with Bet365.
Arbroath host Ayr in the final Championship game and Dick Campbell’s men look worth a punt at 19/29 (Betfair) for the win.
Airdrie have hit form in League One, winning four of their last five, and are a best 4/5 with Betfair for a home win over Dumbarton.
The Sons have shipped eight in their last two games so doubling a Diamonds win with over 2.5 goals appeals at 8/5 (McBookie).
Crisis club Falkirk face a tough trip to Peterhead who have won their last two.
The Blue Toon look overpriced at 5/2 to pile on more Bairns misery.
