Having landed yet another winner in his featured column on Saturday, SlipsTips is back to take a look at the Bet Builder market ahead of Feyenoord and Ajax's hotly-anticipated Dutch Eredivisie showdown at De Kuip on Sunday afternoon.

Feyenoord vs Ajax (Sunday, 13:30)

One of the standout fixtures of the Dutch Eredivisie season will take place on Sunday afternoon when Feyenoord face Ajax.

The pair are currently separated only on goal difference, with both sides locked in a three-way battle with PSV in what looks set to be a fascinating fight to be champions of the Netherlands.

Current kings Ajax are general 8/11 favourites here but I suspect this contest could be closer than the odds suggest, so I'm going to swerve the match result market and instead side with each team to hit 3+ corners and each team to receive 10+ booking points at 5/6 with SkyBet.

Arne Slot's hosts have been strong performers in the corners markets this season, averaging 7.31 flagkicks per-game, hitting the 3+ line in all but one of their 16 league outings thus far.

Unsurprisingly, the high-octane Amsterdam guests sit top of the corner rankings this term, averaging a league-high 7.69 per 90, with Erik ten Hag's team totting up a minimum of three corners in each of their 17 Eredivisie assignments to date.

With that in mind, coupled with the likelihood of a decent degree of goalmouth action here, three corners apiece doesn't look like too much to ask of two teams who tend to play forward-thinking football.

There's little love lost between these clubs and this crunch De Klassieker clash should ratchet up the tension even more, so I'll round off the Bet Builder with each side to receive 10+ booking points.

Granted, neither of these two powerhouses have been prolific for cards this season but sparks usually fly when Feyenoord face Ajax and Sunday’s derby at De Kuip should be no different.

We also have a favourable referee appointment in Dennis Higler, who has been one of the more card-happy operators in the Dutch top flight this term, averaging 4.00 yellow cards per-game.

What's more, the aforementioned combination clicked during the corresponding fixture towards the back end of last season and I see no reason to oppose a repeat here in what is sure to be an action-packed encounter and fantastic atmosphere.

  • Each team 3+ Corners
  • Each team 10+ Booking Points
  •  5/6 (SkyBet)
