A FEW weeks ago Simon Wright and GillsRob posted a strategy on betting on corners. There was a lot of interested in their system and a lot of questions about it.

Due to the demand I posted full details – and if you still have any queries post them as a comment at the end of this article which has been written by the boys. This a third repost of the original article which I said I'd do after the previous ones reached 100 comments – and watch for their tips on the main Mr Fixit thread.

Admin and myself recognise the popularity of these tips and will address the situation but not until major site change are made in September.

Meanwhile, keep an eye on this thread and the main Mr Fixit's top tips thread for their latest offerings.

Firstly, it’s important to point out we are not professional gamblers following our tips won't guarantee a profit. We are regular punters who share a passion to try to build a system that delivers a high win ratio to bets within a strategy to maximise profits and reduce risks.

We have spent the last year trialling many systems and markets from over 2.5 goals to both teams to score to team goals. However, we were unable to forge a system that produced a win rate over 60%.

After a few months we realised one of the trials we were running was doing particularly well and decided to focus on that.

This was Asian Total Corners. Using corner, formation and some pitch data we were able to produce a decent system. We spent the next few months refining the system and changing the weightings we placed on certain stats to increase the number of winners we had to achieve our target of 70%.

In late 2014 we believed we had a system that worked and started to bet for real on these games. We found our picks were delivering 60%-70% winners consistently and started to show profit.

Our final refinement was in March when we reviewed our results to help narrow down the most successful lines we had used through bet365. Following the test we decided to drop six lines from both the over and under market and only run with the remaining six, which are Over 10.5, 11 and 11.5 and Under 9, 9.5 and 10.

I hope that clarifies what our tips are and why. However, and we feel this is really important. Our 70% success rate is calculated over a calendar month, therefore there are individual days and weeks which are loss making.

Aside from the betting lines the most important area of our strategy is the stake structure. We advise you to divide your bank by 12. This would then be your initial stake (which will allow you to make 12 bets).

The reason we suggest 12 is twofold. Firstly, as I said we do have losses. So if your first three bets are losers you need to have enough bank left to recover from this. The way we advise you count is simply starting from 0. If your first bet wins you move to +1 and if it loses then you move to -1.

Also you need to consider how many bets you place at once and have to have the bank to cover this. On a Saturday at 3pm with a full card we sometimes can have up to eight bets. The figure 12 comes from our maximum number of bets at any one time being 8 and also our maximum minus position is -3.

The risk you need to be aware of is if you are on -3 and you place 8 bets at the same time your bank effectively is more or less 0. So, back to your stake and I asked you to split your bank by 12, so assuming you have a bank of £120 your bet would be £10 per tip.

You are going to count the winners as +1 and the losers as -1 and keep doing that over and over and over again. With a win ratio of 70% you will slowly see it go up. Your aim is to get to about +12. Now I say this is your aim as if our tips were all evens, this would mean at +12 you bank is doubled. In reality the odds on our tips range from 1.7-2.0.

Therefore you actual aim is not +12 but just when you bank is doubled. In the example we are using, from an initial £120 bank and £10 stake, you are looking to reach £240. When this happens you can double your stake and your bank divided by 12 would be £20.

You can carry on doing this over and over or you can raise your stake by £10 every time you achieve the correct bank to do so, so for instance when you reach £360 move to £30 stake, when you reach £480 move to £40 stake and when you reach £600 move to £50 stake.

It is at this point when the strategy becomes most profitable and you then will want to plan when to begin to draw profits (after all that's the whole point) but always reverting back to the £600 baseline and repeating the process.

The other way you can stake, which is a lot easier to manage, is every Monday take your bank and divide it by 12 and that’s your stake for the week. This will deliver faster growth but has greater risk if our tips provide a losing week.

Anything more regular may make it difficult to track the strategy then possibly have an adverse effect on the overall performance.

We only post our selections on Mr Fixit's main forum. Due to busy work and family lives we share the workload equally. Look out for either of us, Simon Wright or GillsRob, usually about 10.30pm for the following day (and including any overnight). This ensures we all get the best odds and also allows plenty of time before the game.

Occasionally we may add one or two in the morning, usually before 10am. Additionally, we do endeavour to have at least one of us available on the site during the day, especially when bets are running.

Finally, there are days when nothing meets criteria, so it is a no bet day. We have no plans to make ad hoc bets in these situations.

I hope that provides the clarification you are all looking for. This system is not thrill betting. It is methodical and at times you will go a whole week and only end up at +1) which is just like winning one evens bet. It's not really for the gung-ho gambler out for fun.

However, if your motivation is purely financial and you have the patience and discipline we believe our picks and staking plan could suit you. For others who do not wish to deposit funds anymore this also could be a good system.

All the best,
Simon & Rob

  8. David Wiseman 3 years ago

Alamn – What a great time to start lol,

Slow and steady is the name of this game, it does get quicker once you increase bet sizes, also gets scarier when your all in on a Saturday :-)

I would seriously be happy with plus 2 a week and onto the next, once your scaled up that plus 2 is a considerable amount of money.

  9. Dave Wiseman 3 years ago

The Boss – Are you 4 away now from doubling the first 120.

Have you found it ok not betting on anything else.

  10. Simon wright 3 years ago

    Morning all.

Out all day today with no wifi so won’t be able to post on here..(any idea how I fix this?)

Rob will be around but he is at work also, so will reply as and when he can.

We have one confirmed bet today and will confirm later if anymore about 11am ish – 1pm

We do have another one for 8pm to add but are waiting for a line to appear so not 100%, expect that anytime up to 8pm kick off I’m afraid. (We will post it up asap)

Finally , a little teaser for you . We are dry running a new market at the moment. Last night have us +2 on it but have a few problems to iron out before we can move it forward.

Thanks all and have a great day

    • John smith 3 years ago

Re the wifi Simon; are you in a town/city? If so loads of free wifi hotspots in cafe’s, on buses etc. if you are a BT customer you have access to hundreds of free wifi hotspots with BT wifi.

  11. winging 3 years ago

I was just thinking – is there any chance bet365 realise you have found some value in this market and start to slash the odds?

  12. GillsRob 3 years ago

winging – possible but highly unlikely, this is a small community and it’s doubtful would have an effect either way. Now if we turn into a groupnof thousands…..

  13. Simon wright 3 years ago

Great question but as Rob says, although no idea how many people our bets but poss around 15-20 and most are just starting so lowish stakes perhaps. Not even a ripple in 365 pond.

And, let’s pretend it does, all that means is it’ll take a bit longer to win the money you want. Unless your planning on going somewhere, I wouldn’t worry about it :-)

+2 for the week, with 1 (poss 2) later… Happy with 1/1 keeping it at +2 with any growth a bonus.

    Remember all. Slow and boring

  14. T888 3 years ago

I was in much the same position as Dave W , too many bets with no structure or discipline . you”be given me that structure and discipline back along with a healthy betting bank . Really enjoying this and excited about your new strategies and betting markets .Very much appreciate it that you share with us , thank you

  15. trevor 3 years ago

    Hiya Guys

Dont mind it being slow and boring as long as the results keep o coming.

As an experienced better (in my opinion) I now all systems go through a low trough and thats when the nerves come into play. We have to have the confidece that the good times will return.

In any sytsem as long as the rules are the same and you dont start chasing your losses with less fancied predictions then the good times are sure to return.

As you have paper traded the system before going live you will know the likelyhood of any losing/winning run

    Good Luck

  16. Dave Wiseman 3 years ago

T888 – Pleased your enjoying it and I understand exactly how you feel. Win or lose on this your risk is still nothing like the dark days.

  17. Tom 3 years ago

sorry for being a bit thick, but if start bank is say 120 and so each bet is 10, then why do you need to keep score? Surely you just keep going until either your bank is 0 or 240 when you double? what’s the purpose of the +1 -1 count?

i’m sure i’m missing something…. thanks for any clarification.

  18. T888 3 years ago

    Dave ,
Cheers mate and thanks for bringing my attention to Simon and Robs corner betting strategy in the first place . I’m loving it and like you say the risk is minimal compared to what I’ve lost previously . Can’t wait to see what their new markets and plans are . Best of luck

  19. Dave Wiseman 3 years ago

Tom – You dont have to do the plus/minus thing as you can just wait until you reach 240

I divide my bank by 12 on a monday morning and thats my stake for the week.

I quite like to know as the week progresses if its plus/minus rather than checking my balance but as you say you dont need to.

  20. Tom 3 years ago

    Thanks Dave

  21. GillsRob 3 years ago

    Tom –

We do this as we need to calculate our win ratio % , this is important to know and helps us understand what lines are profitable and which are not. This allows us to add or remove lines on our monthly review.

Also, for some people it’s easier and quicker for them to understand how the day /week is going is they don’t like the points system .

Not everyone does this solely and add other bets into the day and bank, so this also allows transparency on our progress if they can’t or don’t have time to separate the bets out.

Thank you for asking tho and welcome

  22. TheBoss 3 years ago

Dave I’m at 188 at the moment. I have placed today’s bet already so 198 I was before the bet.

I’m loving it :) I have found it so easy not betting on anything else now.

I did bet on the Barca game though becuse of the risk free bet and actually won £50 I wad going to put that towards my corners bank but withdrew it in the end, I thought I’d let the corner system get me to the 240 mark without any other bets.

But so far it’s been quite easy not to bet on other stuff. Saves on stress too :P

I’m nearly at the level 2! Can’t wait!

  23. TheBoss 3 years ago

I was going to do what you do Dave by splitting the bank into 12 every Monday but I forgot to that yesterday so I’m just gonna wait till I hit the 240 then maybe from there split every Monday by 12.

  24. Phillis 3 years ago

think I’m the same as you theboss, this is my 4th week and not to far off my double bank then going do it every Monday me thinks, I’m sure I calculated +12 now tho, numbers wasn’t my best tho lol

  25. Chrisd 3 years ago

Been on the system for around ten days now and my banks showing a steady profit.nice to have a disciplined betting structure and learning to be patient instead of 20 bets a day and the inevitable losses, many thanks and good luck.

  26. Dave Wiseman 3 years ago

The Boss – Sounds a good plan and you could start it from next week. Pleased your getting on with it abd it works for you.

I find from the monday is easier but do whatever you feel is comfortable.

Phillis sometimes hard to keep track that’s why weekly from monday is good but like above do what works for you.

Also good to follow petet on the working model :-)

No worries Tom – Good luck

  27. TheBoss 3 years ago

Pete is falling behind where has he gone!

  28. Champy R 3 years ago

My problem is I keep succumbing to the temptation to cash out, still normally only a couple of pounds or less below the payout. I guess it will just take me a little longer that way.

  29. Dave Wiseman 3 years ago

The boss – I know he has some personal stuff so might do it every couple of days or pick it up a bit later.

Still plenty of support through it all on here.

  30. GillsRob 3 years ago

Champy – don’t worry that’s just early days habit. You’ll learn what is comfortable and when cash out is the better option. Like you say though you’ll get there, albeit slightly slower

  31. Dave Wiseman 3 years ago

Lol champy, I have a nervous one on most matches even when it seems safe I panick.

You can set a cash out rule such as only do it on 98% or with a certain amount of corners spare on unders at 88 mins before it suspends.

I dont cash out as cant always monitor the games, i say that but pretty much watch them all as i cant help myself lol.

Do what feels right for you though, that 88 min with extra time is a nightmare when its tight

  32. Juangoal 3 years ago

Lol I know the feeling Dave. Couple times been sitting staring at flashscores for 10 minutes wishing the seconds away. Worst was the other day with 7 mins added time

  33. GillsRob 3 years ago

Dave – thats exactly what we say, cashout high. Usually anything more than 2 corners to spare with 88min should be good enough.

I was watching the closing stages of an Icelandic game the other day, awful but the stadium surrounded by the sea!

No more bets likely today but will run another check later

  34. Simon wright 3 years ago

    @John Smith

I’m up north for the day, they’ve only just got electricity let alone wifi fella :-)

  35. Champy R 3 years ago

Always cashed out at over £7 profit so far, one was showing that at half time.
I let it run a bit longer though. It depends where I am as well, if I’m on the train and can’t rely on the signal I’m more tempted.

  36. Dave Wiseman 3 years ago

Juangoal – Worse than waiting for goals but just as exciting. I thought i might miss the buzz of wdw but I dont.

I appreciate this way of betting isnt for everyone but I like it and has allowed me to gain control whilst also providing a clear plan.

This is still gambling and can obviously go wrong with a freak set of results but your initial loss would still only be 120 and you go again (hoping for a 3 month run)

I havent thought about it yet but if I reach level 10 I may introduce a percentage weekly Monday withdrawl as a safety net

  37. Chris Reid 3 years ago

Is this all done through bet365 or do other bookies run these corner markets? I use bet365 as my main bookie and haven’t really found another one that I like as much. Would be good if another bookie done these so I could keep it separate from my main betting account without spreadsheets to keep track.

  38. GillsRob 3 years ago

No further bets today just the one already posted.

Chris – I don’t know what other bookies are like for corners as I haven’t needed to look

  39. Simon wright 3 years ago

There are others like but all our picks are on B365 so if you choose another bookie you may not be able to get on all of them

  40. Simon wright 3 years ago

So – little aside for you all… The last 2 days I have

    1. Found on the Mrs is pregnant

    2. Decided to move 100 miles north

    3. Bought a house (today)

    4. Agreed to complete on the 28th June

What would have been the odds on all that happening in 2 days.

Worst thing is the Mrs is now eyeing up my betting bank to kit the new house out with….

Winner tonight pays for the new blinds lol.

PPS – no loss or disruption of tips you’ll be pleased to hear, assuming they have wifi up there :-)

    glad you’re all onboard

  82. PeteT 3 years ago

Playing a little bit of catch up as I wasnt around for much of yesterday….

As promised, to try and give a “show and tell” approach I’m running a hypothetical model of Simon Wright and GillsRob’s much talked about system. Hopefully the practical example will help people understand if there is any confusion.

So after a great Sunday we moved into a new week where Simon and Rob gave us 2 bets on Monday and 1 bet for Tuesday.

Monday and Tuesday were Days 13 and 14 respectively and once again, each bet had a 1pt stake which I valued at £10 (total bank was 12pts, ie £120). The end of today signifies exactly 2 weeks of bets following Simon and Rob’s system.

    The results were as follows:

    UNDER 9 Asian Corners
Odds (as advised by site regulars as I missed it) 1.9
    Win. £19.00 return (i.e. £9 profit made)
    Outcome +1

    UNDER 11 Asian Corners
Odds (at 3pm on Monday) 1.825
    Win. £18.25 return (i.e. £8.25 profit made)
    Outcome +1

    UNDER 9.5 Asian Corners
Odds (at 5pm on Tuesday) 1.925
    Win. £19.25 return (i.e. £9.25 profit made)
    Outcome +1

So the last two days gave us an amazing 3 wins (+3) to add to our tally.

This means the running totals are now:

39 bets placed (not including void bets)
25 bets won (64% win rate to date)

This leaves us on +11 (add up all the outcomes) to date (after 14 days / 2 weeks)

    The stats now stand at:
    Starting bank : £120
New bank : £196.75 (64% increase so far – the target is to get a 100% increase)

64% on your bank isn’t a bad return after 2 weeks …. if you did this every 2 weeks you’d increase your bank by over 143,000% over the course of a year!

Looking forward to week 3’s results of this system.

  83. Dave Wiseman 3 years ago

    Corner stats update

    Starting bank 36 points

    Current bank 89.8 points

    Current profit 53.8

Current stake per bet 5.7 points

    Weekly situation plus 3

I like to share honest stats and this has been just betting on the kings lol

  84. GillsRob 3 years ago

Lamby – can’t really quote accurate figures, as you can imagine early testing involved lots of alterations on a continuous basis. In the past few months when we’ve been running fully, we’ve had marginal weeks but no sustained loss.

Of course though it could happen as in any betting form, caution is advised. However, our most recent tweak to the system excites me the most as it seems it will increase the volume of bets without sacrificing quality.

With all this in mind, this system is not flawless so lets not get carried away, enjoy the run of form but be prepared for a fall at sometime.

  85. PeteT 3 years ago

Great to see that bank back at almost 100 now Dave W :o)

Lol nearly there again, lost count on the number of times I have gone up and down, more than Simon making his baby lol

Only difference is this time its controlled and i know i say it a lot but it is thanks to this system and the gentlemen involved.

  92. Dave Wiseman 3 years ago

Your system found a well known game there lol, right lets find this one :-)

  93. PeteT 3 years ago

Wow – just catching up on the thread. So much happening!

@Simon – Busy times for you mate. Congrats on the new addition and good luck with all the house stuff. Sounds like you’ve got plenty to spend your winnings on!

@Rob. Thanks for the good wishes mate – lots happening this end with Mum. Great work with your strike rate at the moment mate and congrats on another winner today.

@Dave W – It’s a great system isn’t it? :o) Glad you’re almost back to 100 points. It is a bit up and down isn’t it!?! Thing is, history tells us that the underlying trend is upwards so some days we just have to keep the faith!

Glad to see a few new followers too…. :o)

  99. Simon wright 3 years ago

    4 mins ? I didn’t do it twice :-)

Ps, here’s a tip. Buy a house from a developer who needs to complete in June on the 2nd week in June and agree to compete by the 26th June.

Stand back and watch what they offer you to do it :-) in the end I started making stuff up for fun lol

    • BRIAN 3 years ago

      Hello Simon

Been following couple of weeks now and seem to have a solid system and i like the way yous dont look for bets if theyre not there.
Biggest problem people just punt for the sake of it and think they have to find something.

Anyway with the stakes ive been moving up a level depending on the account balance.
      ie) 120 @ 10 per bet, if account hits 180 then its 15 per bet, when it gets to 240 the bets @ 20, 360 @ 30, 450 @ 37.50, 600 @ 50, etc etc.

I have been doing this instead of waiting on it to double entirely, taking it in sections, but always having 12 bets.
This has enabled me to increase quicker.

Anyway i would like your opinion on this.
Each day you have a positive return ie) +1, +2, +3 etc then divide the total bank by 12 and start again.

Days you are level nothing changes ie) one winner and one looser +1 & -1

And days you are on a loss nothing changes either.

Please let me know about the long term implications of using this system. From my train of thought it will increase your bank roll faster on winning ? (as now your on 6 from the last 6 so this would take advantage of the winning run)

But on the other hand it may also take you longer to recoup losses ?

(obviously with this you would not be drawing any profit from the account and you safety would never be more than 12 bets)

Not too sure as ive never ran a system like that before and just cant get my head around the long term use of it with your betting system.

Any thoughts be appreciated, as im sitting at a nice stake level at the minute and dont want to jepordise it experimenting something new if im overseeing some obvious flaw.

  100. Dave Wiseman 3 years ago

Nice to see so many genuine followers on this and to put a system up under 100 percent scrutiny is brave/appreciated

We will get some losers soon but we have a cushion to hopefully finish the week in a plus and that contributes to the long game.

  101. Simon wright 3 years ago

    Thanks fella

@ Dave wiseman lol mate. She must like being tickled after 4 ;) I’ve tickled me Mrs once and she’s not been back since. I’ve had to resort to seeing Pa(l)m a few times a week lmfao.

Great system lads started with a 300 bank Sunday and am already almost halfway too increased stakes… Living in Oz and waking up to profit every morning is very enjoyable

  106. TheBoss 3 years ago

Nice one guys :) nearly at 240!

Lovely little run going on at the moment.

    Hope your doing well Pete.

  107. Mattr 3 years ago

Only just started following this but just want to offer my thanks too. Started with a small bank but will probably increase at end of month. Hope to be able to have a bit extra to spend on Christmas at least.

    Peace out!

  108. GillsRob 3 years ago

    Brian –

pleased to hewr that the system is working so well for you. In regards to your question, daily adjustments could be potentially damaging as it really doesn’t allow for peaks and valleys. You sound perfect for the weekly Monday recalculation method, afterall like you say your bank is growing nicely.

Doing it daily could hurt, e.g. of we have a bad day after youve increased your stake, imagine losing -4 or -5 points in one day. Weekly allows for all the good and bad

hope that makes sense and thanks for the question, I’m sure others have wondered the same

    • BRIAN 3 years ago

Clear as mud lol, been wrecking my brain on it for hours before i even decided to post.

Just thinking as its an endless system, whats the difference you increase you stake daily, as if you increase it on a Monday and the have -4 or -5 loss for that day, it the same as you take a -4 or -5 day hit on any day.
When you increase you will always still have 12 bets required.

Like when you toss a coin its 50/50, doesnt matter if it has been heads 500 times in a row before, the chances are still 50/50.

Anyway ill stay with the weekly as im just pickling my own brain at the minute.

Again good work and much appreciated !!

  109. Champy R 3 years ago

I cashed out again yesterday, but after looking at some stats I did double stake it so made about £12. Not sticking to the plan I know but if a game looks particularly good and it’s the only game that day why not double stake it?

  110. Chris Reid 3 years ago

Cheers for the help on other bookies that do these bets. I’ve looked on the ones mentioned for today’s tip and neither have it. Looks like I’ll need to stick with bet365 for this and maybe find a new regular bookie for other bets, or just keep a spreadsheet to stop me spending the winnings.

    Keep up the good work!

  111. Gbjefr 3 years ago

Big price drop in today’s tip into 1.75 from 1.9 hmmmm

  112. Andy 3 years ago

Just for Brian – your stake logic would work generally on most systems with one exception – adopting that method (technically compounding) you must reduce your stakes after a losing day.
Basically increase stakes as your pot grows, but reduce stakes when it reduces.
Theoretically you can divide by 12 at the start of every day, and if the system is one that delivers over a period of time, compounding would benefit.
But absolutely Essential to reduce stake though after a loss or you are exposed to more than a system is designed for.
In theory by readjusting your stakes relative to your pot on a losing run ensures you stay in the game and never go under or lose your pot.
The object is always to stay in the game. Busting your bank is such a no no as you start again.
It’s a discipline not many keep up as after a loss they increase stakes to recover, and so the downward spiral starts.
Discipline on a % of your bank is fundamental in the long term

    • BRIAN 3 years ago

      Cheers Andy

Yep im understanding you with that.
So on both winning days and loosing days you would still need to divide you bank roll into 12 to enable you to stay within you margins.
As that way you are re-setting everyday (allowing 12 bets) to suit the balance. Makes sense.

Next problem being that this can only be monitored when taking on 1x bet at a time and re-setting after result.
But then what would happen if say you have 2 or 3 bets all on the same kick off time this would not allow for re-setting each time ?

Think my idea my be resigned to the Too Hard Basket lol !

  113. Tunnell 3 years ago

Interesting the price has dropped. Maybe due to it being an obscure women’s league and a load of British accounts have heavily backed the under line,

    The kings are ruling hahaha

  114. GillsRob 3 years ago

Brian – like you say the 12 stakes is the key to the strategy. If you want to do it daily then the theory should stand, but you’ll need to do it everyday regardless whether it’s been good or bad.

I only refer to the plans within the article because there’s where we’ve had most success throughout testing and beyond. However, as long as discipline and level stakes are maintained then the risk of failure is significantly reduced

    • BRIAN 3 years ago

      All good Rob cheers
Anything else showing for this evening or is that it for the day?

  115. TheBoss 3 years ago

Do hope we are not alerting them of the system on 356 but then surley they could just come on here and check if they wanted too.

I managed to get the 1.90 price yesterday. 1.75 is still backable but the £2.50 does add up.

What’s your take on it Simon or Rob

  116. GillsRob 3 years ago

Brian – nothing yet so very unlikely

The Boss – as with any event the best odds are usually available the day or so before. Probably a natural drift as bets are placed. Also a relatively minor match market maybe more vulnerable to movement from a succession of bets.

  117. GillsRob 3 years ago

also that is the main reason we post tips as early as possible – to maximise the price for everyone

  118. Tee 3 years ago

Rob/Simon I’ve been following this system of yours silently but closely over the past few weeks since you introduced it to the site, looks good and you’ve done brilliantly last few days, think that’s 6/6! I have a question- everyone starts on level 1 (£120, £10 bets) when they get to level 2 (£240, £20 bets) what happens say you increase stakes to level 2 (£20) but you hit 2 losers in a row which takes your bank down to £200, do you continue with £20 stakes or drop back down to £10 stakes until you hit level 2 (£240) again? Sorry if the questions not clear, I even confused myself writing it out!

  119. GillsRob 3 years ago

Tee – ok two points to help makw it clearer. Firstly you have a liability of 12 so it would take 12 straight losses to wipe you out no need to adjust back down on this plan.

Alternatively, what sounds better for you is our other plan. Every Monday morning simply divide your bank by 12 and that’s your new stake

  120. Tee 3 years ago

Fair enough rob and thanks. I’ve not been doing the bets as yet but this is something I may look to join soon. It’s obviously working for lots of people. As you and Simon say slow and boring but I can see its effective, so thanks for sharing

  121. Clarks76 3 years ago

Hey guys I’ve also been following the strategy! Almost at the 240 mark now! Just wanted to say thanks for sharing your hard work with us all. I am trying I keep track of you guys over the 2 threads but so far so good. You posting your tips so early has made it easier to follow. Hats off to you both and best if luck with all that’s going on at the mo..

  122. TheBoss 3 years ago

Cheers Rob let’s have a other winner today to make it a step closer to level 2! :)

  123. GillsRob 3 years ago

The boss – fingers crossed for a dull game from the Finnish ladies.

  124. TheBoss 3 years ago

Let’s hope so Rob! 1 or 2 corner first half would be a good start.

  125. Dave Wiseman 3 years ago

    Good luck all

    10 min 1 corner

As you can see i dont watch them all, lol just a sneaky check.

  126. Dave Wiseman 3 years ago

Come on Honka women keep it tight

  127. TheBoss 3 years ago

5 corners so far haven’t even got to half time this will go over 9 corners so I may cashout for a bit to make the loss a little less lol

  128. Danny T 3 years ago

The boss I see what you mean it’s been all honka for corners so far but it’s a +3 week so far and you never know how these games will pan out so I am going to let it ride . I expect to lose some on the way . Hoping for a midfield battle in the second half nowhere near the goal lines lol. Fingers crossed mate

  129. TheBoss 3 years ago

The Honkas are putting on the pressure too! 7/2 for the win…..tempting haha joke.

Let’s hope the women are out of breathe second half and calm down a bit.

  130. Juangoal 3 years ago

Do we get a refund if it’s exactly 9?

  131. T888 3 years ago

Not sure which match it was last week in Women’s World Cup but there were 10 corners in first half and just 1 in the second ,hoping for the same with these Honka lady’s

  132. GillsRob 3 years ago

Juangoal – yes Asian rules – 9 will give our stake back

  133. Juangoal 3 years ago

I figured that, otherwise it’s just corners :@). However hadn’t seen it mentioned or any examples of refunds so far.

  134. Juangoal 3 years ago

Taking that into account think I’ll let this ride. Cash out at HT was tempting.

  135. PeteT 3 years ago

@Juan Goal. We haven’t had a void for a while but we have had a few. Part of the reason we haven’t had too many as sometimes the line is set at 9.5 (which in essence is just corners!)

  136. Simon wright 3 years ago

I blame you for tonight’s void to be honest :-)

  137. Danny T 3 years ago

Void it is but if a sweat but much better than a loser no damage done to an excellent start to the week :-) cheers guys

  138. Simon wright 3 years ago

Never over till it’s over :-)

Hope you didn’t cash out for a loss chaps.

  139. Juangoal 3 years ago

:@) id have taken it with 15 to go & the count at 8.

    • BRIAN 3 years ago

On my other account I backed O/8.5 @ 1.925 in-play so im happy with that. With the home team pushing for an equaliser and 15 minutes plus injury time still to play i thought it was a good bet.
So happy with a push and a separate win

  140. Dave Wiseman 3 years ago

And that’s why I love asian as void money back, nervy 4 mins inj time.

    In we go :-)

Had 70% cash out at one stage but not for long lol.

  141. GillsRob 3 years ago

a moral victory, that was nervy lol. Our unbeaten week remains intact lol.

If anybody asks ‘why asian’ this is the game why!

  142. Sem 3 years ago

Void is infinitely better than a loss.

    On we go :)

  143. Simon wright 3 years ago

So today (for betting) is over.

Juan jinxed the bet and we have a void, and to be honest any day you don’t lose money is a good day.

    This weeks stays at +3

There are quite a few games Rob and I like tomorrow and BET365 have told me they will be offering Asian corner markets for them so we are just waiting to see what the lines will be.

Tomorrow may be a big day.

Working from home tomorrow so will wifi so both of us will be around tonight or tomorrow to answer any questions you have.

I see Rob has answered most of them posted today.

Gutted to not win on an 88th minute corners – who said corner betting was boring lol.

  144. Tunnell 3 years ago

So so close today. Very good tipping again lads.

  145. Dave Wiseman 3 years ago

Danny absulutely right bud happy to stay plus 3 and consolodate. Fine margins, the 2 corners close together killed the win.

  146. roo 3 years ago

My under 9 corners has shown up as a loss with bet365. Did you guys say it should be void ?

  147. roo 3 years ago

My under 9 corners has shown up as a loss with bet365. Did you guys say it should be void ?

  148. Danny T 3 years ago

Roo did you pick Asian corners mate as mind was void always check your slips mate it’s an easy mistake to make

  149. Simon wright 3 years ago

    Did you do Asian?

Check the slip in your settled bets to check it says total Asian corners and not corners.

If not, then it is a loss and there isn’t the Asian void on the bet.

You can email 365 and play dumb saying you thought you got your money back. They will explain you did the wrong bet but may give you your stake back, I did this last week and it worked, guess it depends who you talk to

Good luck – let us know how you get on

    • roo 3 years ago

Thanks guys and ive just realised i just selected corners and not the asian. Tough lesson learned but im going to email them now and try my luck. Thanks for the help simon & danny

  150. Champy R 3 years ago

Cashed out at £6.59, on the upside I stuck £1 on the draw at 10/1 after Honka went 1 down.

  151. Weebanger 3 years ago

Under 9 means 8, why contact them when your wrong?

  152. Danny T 3 years ago

Weebanger it is worth contacting them mate as he made a mistake he wanted Asian but chose the wrong option always worth a go he may get stake back as free bet

  153. Weebanger 3 years ago

it just hinders people with meaningful queries. Good luck all the same

  154. roo 3 years ago

well I had a go and it was just an explanation to where I went wrong. I don’t expect them to pay me for my mistake but was worth a gamble (lol). I did get my new members bonus off them to add to my fund so its onwards tomorrow and lesson learnt. thanks for the great tips simon and bob and I wish I was on this weeks ago!!!!

  155. Wato 3 years ago

Roo I would say there won’t be one of us on here that has not picked the wrong market or even in some cases the wrong team lol for these corner bets the guys are tipping as they are all Asian Corners what I do is choose Asian lines and pick corners that way then you will always pick the correct market for these bets good luck with Bet365

  156. roo 3 years ago

weebanger im not betting on a market im not clued up on im following a tip! and the original tip from the guys says under 9 goals that’s why I placed it. then when everybody was saying it was void I didn’t understand but obviously I had not gone for Asian corners which is under 9.5. lesson learnt like I said

  157. roo 3 years ago

Depends if asain lol lesson learnt !!

  158. GillsRob 3 years ago

Come on guys, we’re all on the same side here.

Sorry if the bet wasn’t clear enough, I’ll be sure to address that doesn’t happen in the future. Just so everyone knows as stated in our article at the top of the page, all of our tips are Asian lines unless stated otherwise.

  159. Wato 3 years ago

Weebanger give it a rest this is a new market for many and this about helping everyone out. Sometimes the best way to learn is make a mistake then it doesn’t happen again

  160. roo 3 years ago

The original post by simon wright said under 9 corners. This is what through me when i placed the bet not 9.5. Being new to this i didnt know bet365 had asian and normal so it was a mistake ( by myself) but if it amuzes you then atleast something good came out of my loss for sombody besides the bookies !!

  161. Danny T 3 years ago

Weebanger I don’t think he is an idiot I just think he made a mistake and we’ve all done that at some point or other . Like gillsrob says we are on the same team and help and encouragement it what’s required .

  162. GillsRob 3 years ago

    Wato- thank you

Anyway guys back to the real purpose of this page. Shortly I will be posting tomorrow’s tips which is a surprising amount for a Thursday

  163. Danny T 3 years ago

Wato exactly mate always select the Asian lines tab and then select the bet removes the element of wrong picking . I agree I do the same

  164. GillsRob 3 years ago

Weebanger – agree or not, please give it a rest as you’re now beginning to derail the point of this page. Im glad you’re following but nothing to be gained by mocking somebody for making a mistake.

  165. Dave Wiseman 3 years ago

Roo – Worth a try bud if you explain you meant asian. You might get a free bet of some type, nothing lost by trying.

I once bet 400 instead of 40 lol and didnt notice until after the match lost. I got given 200 back as out of my normal betting pattern. Still fing annoyed me though lol.

Weebanger to be fair if you havent bet asian before it can be confusing to start with.

The odds are always a little less than standard corners but worth it when you get a void and money back like today.

I think it was the 2nd week i had been following we had 4 voids and that makes a difference to the end of week performance

  166. TheBoss 3 years ago

I did cash out at half time and stuck it on over 9.5! Cash out was for £7.80 with a win of £14.??

I know know u did wrong :( :( but least it was only 10.

    On to the next :)

  167. Dave Wiseman 3 years ago

Weebanger – The bookies can be understanding if they agree it was an honest mistake or see its out of your normal pattern of betting.

Asian is not clear when you 1st start and an easy mistake to make not at all similar to 1st goalscorer or last which is clear in its definition.

  168. Dave Wiseman 3 years ago

Under 9 on normal corners is clear

Under 9 on asian is not clear as 9 is void and money back. Which makes a big difference.

A big difference for people that are new to asian lines. I didnt know that once and was thankfull for people explaining it. Thankfully no one found it funny like you do.

  169. Michael Cutler 3 years ago

under 9 corners = 8 corners win, 9 corners lose
under 9 total asian corners = 8 corners win, 9 corners void

The 2 bets sound exactly the same, but there is a pretty big difference. It’s like betting on the win, or draw no bet. Big difference if the draw comes in – and in this case big difference if it ends on 9. So weebanger give it a rest on deciding who should be supervised on the internet. The tone of this thread has been mercifully free of the playground crap that goes on the top tips thread and I personally would like to keep it that way.

  170. GillsRob 3 years ago

good luck guys and get on them now before the odds move

  171. roo 3 years ago

I fully accept my loss and i kind of found out my mistake the same time i had put my first post up. It was a new area for me and the mistake was minimal in cost. I asked the booky as advised that they might show me some grace for the mistake. Sorry to weebanger if ive upset you mate and hopfully get this thread back on track. Thanks for everyones input !!

  173. trevor 3 years ago

As you are no doubt aware I have been following your tips for a few weeks now( when time permits) and I am very impressed by the results

I have had 22 bets 13 winners 5 losers and 4 voids so starting with a £60 bank and betting £5 on each my bank is now sitting at £94 and on +8.

    Keep up the good work

  174. T888 3 years ago

    Agree with you Dave

  175. Dave Wiseman 3 years ago

Thanks for the next batch of tips simon/Rob

Brian i will keep you posted with 5 minute updates (Joke)

Weebanger make sure you choose Asian (sarcastic joke)

    Good luck all

  176. GillsRob 3 years ago

as well as the tips already posted we still may have more before the night is over

  177. Weebanger 3 years ago

will I get an answer or are you just gonna delete fixit?

  178. murmagic 3 years ago

Evening all, does anyone know why tonight’s game is coming up void on bet365.

  179. BRIAN 3 years ago

I didnt say they could post what they want – i just said be mindful of what you post.

Id safley say 99% of the people here dont want to look through other peoples drivel !
Just look at tonight because of that theres about 80 extra posts which could have been delt with easliy.

And weather you disable emails or not you still need to come on here and sipher through all the wank to get to the tips.

Rob or Simon take time to do the research and to post the tips, so all im saying is be mindful of what your posting and weather it contributes to the forum, as if it doesnt whats the point !
Be thankful that your getting these pick for free and dont give them anymore work than they already have.

  180. Chappers 3 years ago

Not really a poster on the site, but just a thanks for taking the time to share your tips

  181. GillsRob 3 years ago

Guys of this carries on there’s a chance the tips will get lost in the shuffle and people will miss out.

Lets not have a big fallout over 22 finnish women snd get this back on track

  182. Dave Wiseman 3 years ago

Rob – Dont tease us with more lol

Lets hope for 2/2 tom worst case which will keep us plus 3 for the week.

    Anything else is a bonus

  183. Weebanger 3 years ago

sorry to all I’ve offended… I really do apologise, it wasn’t meant as a dig to anyone even though it might of sounded that way I do apologise.

What I was meaning was…. Complaining over such a simple thing like ” is 9 actually under 9″ and expecting refunded does affect you average punter when he has a query.

This was and is the only point I wish to make and anyone who was offended with my grammar or tone I apologise.

Thumbs up to Simon and Rob… Top work and very much appreciated :)

      Mr Fixit 3 years ago

Weebanger, it’s big of you to apologise but please remember plenty of people get confused about Asian Handicaps.

  184. Simon wright 3 years ago

    Right, just back from bootcamp.

@Trevor – thanks fella and glad it’s working for you. Think where you might be in 12 months time

@Brian – I think Mr F is making big changes in Sept which will make it easier to follow and get the tips. Mr F may put a new corner thread up today/tomorrow also as we have reached 100 comments

@Mr F – if you do, perhaps you could consider adding the 4 tips at the top in the write up so save people from scrolling through? Just an idea

@All – as rob said, there could be some more about 10:30pm so may be worth checking back in later if you wish too.

@Weebanger – although you make valid points mate, perhaps consider how they are made. Not that it’s down to me to tell you how to conduct yourself of course. B365 are a huge company and have serveral ways of being contacted, I’m sure they have capacity to deal with an extra query.

Remember, when betting on Asian. Even when you bet on under 9. It’s doesn’t mean you lose if there are over 8 corners as you said earlier. Just noting as it’s important to only try and share correct information, but thank you for trying any way.

@Roo – lesson learnt and I’m hopeful it didn’t cost you too much. I was the one who suggested you contact 365. I’ve been betting on corners for a long time, this is 50% my page and even I did it wrong last week, 365 gave me a refund so it was worth asking.

Right, +3 for the week and tomorrow is a big day. 4 bets minimum so far. As per robs post and comments earlier, you should get better odds of you are able to place them soon.

    Thanks all,

We have managed no losses since Sunday, with 4 bets tomorrow , I have a feeling that will end tomorrow. +O or +2 is the aim for tomorrow

The boss – Great news bud, really hope it happens this week for you. Doesn’t matter if it doesnt though as its the long game :-)

Do you think you will divide by 12 end of play sunday or stick to the levels.

Dave, Well if I reach 240 by 2moro I’ll just do the 20 per bet then see how it is by mid week see what the options are.
