THIS is the latest thread from Simon Wright and GillsRob whose strategy on betting on corners has proved popular.

If you have any queries about what they are doing post them as a comment at the end of this article – and watch out for their daily tips on here or the main Mr Fixit thread.

Sunday morning corner tips

JAPAN – J LEAGUE 2
CHIME FC v TOKYO VERDY (8am)

JEF UNITED v AVISPA FUKUOKA (11am)
BOTH UNDER 9.5 TOTAL ASIAN CORNERS

THE BACKGROUND

Firstly, it’s important to point out we are not professional gamblers following our tips won't guarantee a profit. We are regular punters who share a passion to try to build a system that delivers a high win ratio to bets within a strategy to maximise profits and reduce risks.

We have spent the last year trialling many systems and markets from over 2.5 goals to both teams to score to team goals. However, we were unable to forge a system that produced a win rate over 60%.

After a few months we realised one of the trials we were running was doing particularly well and decided to focus on that.

This was Asian Total Corners. Using corner, formation and some pitch data we were able to produce a decent system. We spent the next few months refining the system and changing the weightings we placed on certain stats to increase the number of winners we had to achieve our target of 70%.

In late 2014 we believed we had a system that worked and started to bet for real on these games. We found our picks were delivering 60%-70% winners consistently and started to show profit.

Our final refinement was in March when we reviewed our results to help narrow down the most successful lines we had used through bet365. Following the test we decided to drop six lines from both the over and under market and only run with the remaining six, which are Over 10.5, 11 and 11.5 and Under 9, 9.5 and 10.

I hope that clarifies what our tips are and why. However, and we feel this is really important. Our 70% success rate is calculated over a calendar month, therefore there are individual days and weeks which are loss making.

ORIGINAL STAKING PLAN

Aside from the betting lines the most important area of our strategy is the stake structure. We advise you to divide your bank by 12. This would then be your initial stake (which will allow you to make 12 bets).

The reason we suggest 12 is twofold. Firstly, as I said we do have losses. So if your first three bets are losers you need to have enough bank left to recover from this. The way we advise you count is simply starting from 0. If your first bet wins you move to +1 and if it loses then you move to -1.

Also you need to consider how many bets you place at once and have to have the bank to cover this. On a Saturday at 3pm with a full card we sometimes can have up to eight bets. The figure 12 comes from our maximum number of bets at any one time being 8 and also our maximum minus position is -3.

The risk you need to be aware of is if you are on -3 and you place 8 bets at the same time your bank effectively is more or less 0. So, back to your stake and I asked you to split your bank by 12, so assuming you have a bank of £120 your bet would be £10 per tip.

You are going to count the winners as +1 and the losers as -1 and keep doing that over and over and over again. With a win ratio of 70% you will slowly see it go up. Your aim is to get to about +12. Now I say this is your aim as if our tips were all evens, this would mean at +12 you bank is doubled. In reality the odds on our tips range from 1.7-2.0.

Therefore you actual aim is not +12 but just when you bank is doubled. In the example we are using, from an initial £120 bank and £10 stake, you are looking to reach £240. When this happens you can double your stake and your bank divided by 12 would be £20.

You can carry on doing this over and over or you can raise your stake by £10 every time you achieve the correct bank to do so, so for instance when you reach £360 move to £30 stake, when you reach £480 move to £40 stake and when you reach £600 move to £50 stake.

It is at this point when the strategy becomes most profitable and you then will want to plan when to begin to draw profits (after all that's the whole point) but always reverting back to the £600 baseline and repeating the process.

ALTERNATIVE STAKING PLAN

The other way you can stake, which is a lot easier to manage, is every Monday take your bank and divide it by 12 and that’s your stake for the week. This will deliver faster growth but has greater risk if our tips provide a losing week.

Anything more regular may make it difficult to track the strategy then possibly have an adverse effect on the overall performance.

CLOSING NOTES

We only post our selections on Mr Fixit's main forum. Due to busy work and family lives we share the workload equally. Look out for either of us, Simon Wright or GillsRob, usually about 10.30pm for the following day (and including any overnight). This ensures we all get the best odds and also allows plenty of time before the game.

Occasionally we may add one or two in the morning, usually before 10am. Additionally, we do endeavour to have at least one of us available on the site during the day, especially when bets are running.

Finally, there are days when nothing meets criteria, so it is a no bet day. We have no plans to make ad hoc bets in these situations.

I hope that provides the clarification you are all looking for. This system is not thrill betting. It is methodical and at times you will go a whole week and only end up at +1) which is just like winning one evens bet. It's not really for the gung-ho gambler out for fun.

However, if your motivation is purely financial and you have the patience and discipline we believe our picks and staking plan could suit you. For others who do not wish to deposit funds anymore this also could be a good system.

All the best,
Simon & Rob

Yeah will follow, like corners on games especially favorites when a -1 goal handicap is same odds as corners. Attacking and chances does not often bring goal fest but corners can be home in minutes with doubles. Cash out 95 per cent profit in play often with 365.

Following stats better, so follow. Real madrid a favourite to bet and watch.

  2. Dave Wiseman 9 years ago

Hope you dont mind me reposting as at the end of the old thread.

As we progress through week 3 of the Simon/Rob corner betting we reach Friday. As promised, to try and give a “show and tell” approach I’m running a hypothetical model of Simon Wright and GillsRob’s much talked about system. Hopefully the practical example will help people understand if there is any confusion.

So after a tough small loss on the mid week we entered into Friday’s International matches which Simon reminded us, just before the matches started, is our worst day!

Friday was Day17 and once again, each of our 3 bets had a 1pt stake which I valued at £10 (total bank was 12pts, ie £120).

    The results were as follows:

    Euro 2016 Qualifying
    7.45pm Norway
    Under 9.5 Asian Corners
    Odds – 1.85 (at Bet365 – 12pm)
    Win. £18.50 return (i.e £8.50 profit made)
    Outcome +1

    Euro 2016 Qualifying
    7.45pm Andorra
    Under 9.5 Asian Corners
    Odds – 1.825 (at Bet365 – 12pm)
    Lost. £0.00 return (i.e. £10 loss made)
    Outcome -1

    MALTA 7:45PM
    OVER 10 ASIAN CORNERS
    Lost. £0.00 return (i.e. £10 loss made)
    Outcome -1

So another tough day notching up a -1 (thank goodness the Norwegians didnt get another corner!)

This means the running totals are now:

45 bets placed (not including void bets)
27 bets won (60% win rate to date)

This leaves us on +8 (add up all the outcomes) after 17 days.

    The stats now stand at:
    Starting bank : £120
New bank : £156.25 (30% increase so far – the target is to get a 100% increase)

It’s been a tough few days as we head into the weekend (which often seems to produce a positive nett result). Remember, we’re still in profit after 17 days (which isn’t an easy feat!) and the system is working as it should to produce gentle upward trends for getting a return on our 12 point bank.

    Good luck for the weekend.

  3. Dave Wiseman 9 years ago

Good to see 60% and combined with the staking plan will produce an upward curve.

The return you make will increase as your per bet total increases.

I know its slow and steady expecially when you start on 120 but i have not gone 4-5 weeks betting these numbers and still made money for a long time.

The plusses you require each level decreases until you potentially reach 1200 before needing plus 12 again to progress.

If you are diving by 12 each week you can increase quicker but also potentially decrease quicker.

For those that started on 120 for 4 weeks thats 30 a week risk so far for playing this game. As the weeks progress and we are still in the game then it becomes less and less. We are not handing the bookies money back anything like we used to and thats quality whilst still having fun.

Whatever option you follow if you started on 120 thats always the maximun you can lose from your own pocket.

Hi guys, I seem to have started this corner system at the very moment the system is being most tested. Fortunately some free money on the number of runs Nz would score yesterday means I’m still about evens in my account and the corners thing is clearly a marathon not a sprint…

So, you mentionabove your weekend corner predictions but I can’t see them. Am I having a touch of the stevie wonders or can you repost them?

    Many thanks

    Ted TC

    Morning all.

We go into Saturday at 0, after Thursday and Friday wipes out the weeks +.

No coincidence that this was when we decided to look at Internationals and that idea has been swiftly shelved.

Last week I believe we came into Saturday in roughly the same position and the week before was -1 I recall.

Seems strange to only have one pick at present (Brazil this evening) on a Saturday but Internationals across the globe this weekend has put pay to a large domestic card.

Keep checking as we may have some more this morning.

Today I’m going up north to do some measuring up so won’t have wifi for a bit – and for me no wifi , no post for some reason.

Robs at work but will still be checking in.

    Thanks all

  9. TheBoss 9 years ago

    Cheers Dave me too haha!

Sitting on 140 now after todays bet. Need some good winners now to get back near the 240 mark.

  10. AndyC 9 years ago

Same for me Simon, I can only post when I have wifi, not on mobile data.
Didn’t used to happen when I first started visiting the page at about Christmas time but has done for a fair few months which is a shame.
I’m on EE and use a Sony Xperia, not sure if that has any relevance.

  11. TheBoss 9 years ago

    Andy C!

I’m on EE with Sony Xperia Z3 I don’t think it’s the phone more the network issue.

It’s annoying I can post when I’m out of wifi range!

  12. TheBoss 9 years ago

    Can’t**

    ………

  13. david wiseman 9 years ago

The boss – Stay patient it will come, teased you a bit early week but its a strange post season period and looking forward to the new season.

Still in profit though which is good :-)

    Hopefully 160 ish after today

  14. TheBoss 9 years ago

    Hope so Dave :)

  15. GillsRob 9 years ago

It’s been a tough few days but remember how well we were doing before dipping into international games on thurs/fri. There’s a few more league games tomorrow in Brazil, MLS and Iceland so hope for a selection or two.

    Keep the Faith!

  16. david wiseman 9 years ago

Rob – No worries here bud and in for the long haul, I am pretty much at the position i was at the start of the week.

We will have ups and downs and if a down is being level through this week then that’s a great place to be at.

    The faith is kept lol

  17. TheBoss 9 years ago

Least we have learnt a abit more about international games now.

Better now then down the road when the levels are higher.

  18. GillsRob 9 years ago

Thanks guys for your patience, it’s going to be absolutely worth it in the long run. At least once the international games are done this week, the summer leagues will give us plenty

  19. Danny T 9 years ago

Rob we all expect to lose a few along the way I am more than happy for the long term Rome wasn’t built in a day and I have allocated a pot purely for this system and I am looking to see where I am in a year not thinking about daily or weekly at this stage after a year I will be looking to see how we have got on. It’s very appreciated that not only do you put in all the hard work yourself and Simon but you also take the time to post up for us to get a chance to beat the bookies and you have clearly helped a lot of people out of a spiral of betting without a plan which was damaging some people . Tip my hat to you both

  20. Wato 9 years ago

Totally agree with Danny T’s post and more respect for you guys not tipping a game for the sake of it good luck tonight with your Brazilian ;)

  21. david wiseman 9 years ago

lol wato got to love a Brazilian and Danny T absolutely right all about the long game and the upwards curve over a period of time.

Even if this goes down at some stage it will mean a lot less lost than many other methods of betting. I would just go again lol.

    Good luck all

  22. Danny T 9 years ago

6 corners in opening 12 minutes has to be some kind of record . Let’s keep our fingers crossed for them to take foot of the gas a little

  23. Gbjefr 9 years ago

    Down early doors

  24. PeteT 9 years ago

What – well that was a tough game. With 6 corners in the first 12 minutes our corners bet looked tough. Don’t think anyone saw that coming! :o(

As we progress through week 3 of the Simon/Rob corner betting we reach Saturday. As promised, to try and give a “show and tell” approach I’m running a hypothetical model of Simon Wright and GillsRob’s much talked about system. Hopefully the practical example will help people understand if there is any confusion.

So, after some disappointment on the international matches we headed into Brazil for an unders bet….

Saturday is Day18 and once again, our bets had a 1pt stake which I valued at £10 (total bank was 12pts, ie £120).

    The results were as follows:

    BRASIL SERIE B – 8.30PM
    ATLETCIO GO v NAUTICO
    UNDER 11 ASIAN CORNERS
    Odds – 1.85 (at Bet365 – 11am)
    Lost. £0.00 return (i.e £10 loss made)
    Outcome -1

So another tough day notching up a -1 but we move onto Sunday with new hope and optimism.

This means the running totals are now:

46 bets placed (not including void bets)
27 bets won (59% win rate to date)

This leaves us on +7 (add up all the outcomes) after 18 days.

    The stats now stand at:
    Starting bank : £120
New bank : £146.25 (22% increase so far – the target is to get a 100% increase)

It’s been a tough few days but overall Rob and Simon average around a 65% strike rate (2 in every 3 approx) so we’re due some luck. We’re also still in profit after 18 days which means our banks’ remain intact so there’s no need for panic. We just need to keep doing the basics over and over again. It also highlights why we keep to level stakes.

    Good luck for sunday.

  25. Tunnell 9 years ago

Bloody hell our corners were obliterated tonight lol. They’ve even took corners outta the betting market for the second half. Never mind. Many thanks to the Kings. Look forward to tomorrow’s picks.

  26. GillsRob 9 years ago

Well in all our months on this system that’s probably the most emphatic loss on an under bet I’ve seen.

  27. Tunnell 9 years ago

Absolutely crazy mate. No need to worry tho I’m sure things will turn around.

  28. PeteT 9 years ago

    @Rob

I reckon the Nautico goalie was on the overs bet. 6 corners in the first 12 minutes – lol

  29. Shawcs 9 years ago

You know it’s not going well when u log into bet365 and they are offering 59p cash out after 15 mins lol oh well one of those games.

  30. GillsRob 9 years ago

    Thanks guys

well we get a chance to turn -1 week around tomorrow with two early games from Japan. I’ll post details in a short while

  31. Dave Wiseman 9 years ago

Shocking but we go, my last post will not make it through lol as i may have been a bit expresive.

Fully behind the system and lets hope for 2/0 tom

  32. Dave Wiseman 9 years ago

How a team can get 12 corners

1 every 3.4 minutes in a fh is incredible.

  33. david wiseman 9 years ago

That game finished on 16 corners and did slow up 2nd half

I’ve been betting corners for a while now.my teams are man city and arsenal which I was betting on while watching live on tv. I’d usually wait till 75 mins and bet on over 1.5 corners.often got 4/6 on them.

  40. Simon wright 9 years ago

    @Murmagic

No reason, just the way the maths land really

I have a feeling you may get your wish this morning tho..

  47. Champy R 9 years ago

    I’m tempted.

  48. Dave Wiseman 9 years ago

Champyr – lol, do what feels right bud but i am letting it roll.

Hoping this comes in to bring the thread level for the week.

  49. Champy R 9 years ago

I’ll let it run Dave, Asian corner market is now under/over 6

  50. Dave Wiseman 9 years ago

Will be tempting at 98 99 % though if it gets there

Normally wouldnt but the last 3 days have given me an anxiety problem lol

  51. Dave Wiseman 9 years ago

9 corners in 40 to kill it

Only thos pricxs last night can manage that lol

  52. Michael C 9 years ago

Had a lie in so missed this. Only being offered under 4.5. Not sure whether to take it…

  53. Simon wright 9 years ago

    @Michael

Leave it fella. Plenty more to come

  54. GillsRob 9 years ago

a run rate 3min per corner needed to lose now. Over 8 corners 12/1 available if you’re nervy

  55. Michael C 9 years ago

On it at under 6. Gonna be a more nervy end to the match for me than you lot!

  56. Dave Wiseman 9 years ago

Little flurry mid 2nd half but settled and 80 min on 4

Hope the under 6 comes in michael

    • PeteT 9 years ago

Good luck Michael. I wouldn’t have taken that bet (too risk averse) but good luck to you.

What odds did you get (may I ask?)

  57. GillsRob 9 years ago

cover available now michael over 5 at 7/2. did you do asian?

  58. PeteT 9 years ago

@Rob. He probably isn’t watching this page – he’s probably glued to Bet365‘s screen as we speak!

You’re thinking along the same lines as me though mate!

  59. Champy R 9 years ago

Landed with plenty in the bank, back to winning ways Simon & Rob.

  60. Dave Wiseman 9 years ago

Good start and on to the 11am

Glad the under 6 came in michael :-) bit risky but paid off

  61. Dave Wiseman 9 years ago

    ChampyR – Nicely left lol

  62. AndyC 9 years ago

Well done on the early game gents, woke up with 2 mins left. Lovely!

The second game at 11 – it’s the only one of your picks so far I’ve noticed to be higher odds than the other bet – our unders is 1.925 and the overs is 1.875, any idea why?
I usually find it reassuring (maybe wrongly) when our bet has noticeably shorter odds than the other option as I feel that the bookie expects it to land also.

  63. Simon wright 9 years ago

Right … Winner and now that’s 0+ for the week

    2 left so this week.

Been a funny old week, will explain some new rules Rob and I have added in my end of week summary tonight .

  64. GillsRob 9 years ago

Glad you all got on and well done Michael for being far braver than most of us

onto 11.00am. be nice land that and go into the evening already up

  65. GillsRob 9 years ago

Andy C – I understand your apprehension but this isn’t unusual. When it comes down to it, we have a statistical strategy and so do the bookies. The fact the odds arent far apart is comforting.

  66. Michael C 9 years ago

I was glued to 365! Got 1.825 for under 6 Asian so should be on similar bank to the rest of you.

  67. TheBoss 9 years ago

Haha Dave I was asleep mate! Just woke up now checked the balence and it was up :)

I prefer it that way! I might go back to bed until the 11am one is is over too haha.

Nice start Simon and Rob :)

  68. Dave Wiseman 9 years ago

Just a plus day would be lovely and move onto a new week.

  69. PeteT 9 years ago

    @Andy.

Two things that come to mind

    1) The last few days our bets have been the ‘favourite’ odds and they’ve been beaten. So dont worry – 0.1 either way doesn’t make a massive difference

    2) If you look at the unders, exact, overs market Bet365 are offering
    Under 10 corners 5/6
    Exactly 10 corners 7/1
    Over 10 corners 5/4

so actually they think the unders best is most likely at the moment.

Interesting that Under 9.5 Asian corners is the same as Under 10 normal corners but we get a price of 1.925 (which is around 0.1 better than the fractional odds on the european market) :o)

    Good luck

  70. david wiseman 9 years ago

PeteT – That 0.1 makes a difference, I tell the missus that everyday :-)

  71. AndyC 9 years ago

Cheers for the insight guys I’m not necessarily worried I just haven’t noticed your odds being less than the opposite bet before.
    Course it’s gunna land!!
    Haha enjoy your day.

  72. winging 9 years ago

Missed the morning one! Typical…ahah. Well done though guys, lets hope for two more wins.

  74. David mc 9 years ago

    Yeah 5 corners already

  75. david wiseman 9 years ago

In trouble on 7 at ht, looking like 1/1 and onto the overs later.

You never know though as seen stranger things than 2 corners in a half

  76. david wiseman 9 years ago

Looking for 20 mins without a corner then co offer on the table for stake back

  77. david wiseman 9 years ago

Unlikely but that is my request lol

  78. Gary May 9 years ago

Looked unlikely at HT but you never know

  79. david wiseman 9 years ago

Another 10 mins without a corner please lol

  80. david wiseman 9 years ago

10 mins left, 1 corner to play with. COME ON

  81. winging 9 years ago

To cash out or not… so tense!

  82. david wiseman 9 years ago

I ma cashing out on 88 if this carries on

  83. TheBoss 9 years ago

If it gets a bit better worth the cashout I think

  84. david wiseman 9 years ago

Get the fing subs out lol all 4 of them lol

  85. david wiseman 9 years ago

Get the fing subs out lol all 4 of them lol

  86. TheBoss 9 years ago

    Cashed out for 16.76

  87. winging 9 years ago

cashed out for 16.67. Couldn’t handle it!

  88. david wiseman 9 years ago

  89. Champy R 9 years ago

Come on ref, let’s have the whistle

  90. Danny T 9 years ago

    Superb stuff gentleman

  91. JamieW 9 years ago

Unbelievable! This is why you don’t cash out. Excellent tip Simon and Rob. Must admit I was a little worried at half time.

  92. Sean567 9 years ago

Well done fellas was never in any doubt

  93. Champy R 9 years ago

Well done again Simon and Rob, and well played JEF and Avi, must try to watch more Japanese footy

Needed nerves of steel..but we’ll done lads..

  95. Razerbwfc 9 years ago

Blimey that was a nervy one! I got nervous at half time and did a risky cover of under 11.5 so ended up with double bubble! That last 20 mins seemed to go on forever :)

  96. GillsRob 9 years ago

    Get in!

what a bonus that was. back on track amd tonight in Iceland we play for profit!

  97. david wiseman 9 years ago

Bloody hell, that was fun. 1 corner for the whole of the 2nd half.

To be honest there was 2 double corners which made it closer than it should have been.

get the f in there :-)

  98. winging 9 years ago

Cashed out losing about £2 of max amount so fairly happy with that…

  99. Wato 9 years ago

Well done gents and its off to Iceland we go – and not the frozen food section :)

  100. Tunnell 9 years ago

2-2. Well done the Kings. Great stuff. I can understand people getting worried when the corners become close like in the 2nd game today, my advice. Stick the bet on and check after full time. It reduces the chance of chasing, covering, and more importantly heart attacks :)

  101. WildWille 9 years ago

Well done guys. Looking shaky at least at ht, but somehow pulled. Did the U12,5 to cover and ended up a double bubble like Razerbwfc ;))

    On to Iceland tonight

  102. david wiseman 9 years ago

Refused any in play cover but was tempted at under 8 ht and under 12 ft when it hit the 6th corner in the first half.

Stuck to my own rule not to in play but that would have been a treble winner. I do remember though that for all the in plays that do win I forget the ones that don’t (that’s what the bookies play on)

Personally that brings me to -2 for the week due to in plays earlier in the week, lets hope it goes -1 tonight for me and plus 2 for the site.

I will update figures after tonight’s game

Even the mrs enjoyed that one lol

  103. david wiseman 9 years ago

    QUOTE

“in trouble on 7 at ht, looking like 1/1 and onto the overs later.

You never know though as seen stranger things than 2 corners in a half ”

I have been betting on these for just short of 5 weeks and seen some strange shxt lol but that ranks up there.

  104. david wiseman 9 years ago

I think it shocked 365 as well as they have it stuck in non pay out land. Must have been counting it at ht lol

  105. GillsRob 9 years ago

well done to anybody who doubled up – brave but you deserve it for showing tremendous courage.

One thing I’ve learnt and I’m sure some of you have, the stats are rarely way off. Im not brave enough though.

    well done everybody

  106. Simon wright 9 years ago

+2 for today and +1 for the week now which means at worst it will be an even week.

The seconds Japanese game was tight but if you look at when the corners happened there were 2 double corners which slightly screwed the figures.

Few hours off now until Iceland later .

Glad to be back to normal service

  107. TheBoss 9 years ago

Lost out on £3 but ah well :) on the the next!!

  108. david wiseman 9 years ago

Rob – I agree with the double ups, well done to those on it but its a game I am not playing anymore lol.

The Boss – Still a fair shout cashing out when you did and if it felt right do it, I went to do it but got timed out lol which made me an extra £10 (just the way it rolls some times)

Main thing is as a group we have won 2 today and go into the overs game tonight without the same pressure (I fing hate overs though)

  109. GillsRob 9 years ago

David – agreed, you’ll nevet find me advising chasing a losing bet inplay but credit where it’s due.

Nice to be back to reality after international football derailed us but lessons have been learnt for sure.

Iceland has surprisingly high corner numbers – must be the frozen pitches lol

  110. Razerbwfc 9 years ago

I must admit I don’t normally cover, just had a good feeling at the time so went for it. I very nearly cashed out the original bet as well but let it run. Rare I have good luck when it comes to betting but today has been a good un so far! Bet my international acca doesn’t come in though, ha.

Good luck to all for this evening :)

  111. Tunnell 9 years ago

    1 hour till its 3 outta 3 :). A repeat of last Sunday’s results hopefully :)

  112. David Wiseman 9 years ago

Tunnell – Bloody hope so lol

  113. Tunnell 9 years ago

Haha fingers crossed mate. I have nothing else exciting to wait for this evening. I could hope for sex but the corners coming in has a lot more chance

  114. GillsRob 9 years ago

    Here we go guys

  115. Michael Cutler 9 years ago

Quite fancy going to one of their home games – cracking atmosphere!

  116. Champy R 9 years ago

Corners lead to more corners, looking better.

  117. bullseye170 9 years ago

3 corners at the end of the first half has helped out nice there

  118. GillsRob 9 years ago

Nice to benefit from a multi corner for once – 5 needed to win now

  119. TheBoss 9 years ago

    Looking good chaps :)

  120. Razerbwfc 9 years ago

Just 3 more needed. Come on!

  121. TheBoss 9 years ago

    One more :)

  122. DrWooll 9 years ago

In the ‘cornerkings’ we trust… once again some top tipping… i was both earlier tips..iceland game looking good…either way you guys have made me some dollar. Thanks again, i owe you guys a beer!

  123. Simon wright 9 years ago

    @DrWooll

Just a green tea for me

  124. Simon wright 9 years ago

Lol, just want it over with so I can write my end of week write up lol

  125. TheBoss 9 years ago

Haha green tea is what I’m drinking now Simon. Il stick the kettle on again after one more corner ;)

  126. DrWooll 9 years ago

lol earl grey coming your way… i been taking every tip since i have noticed you guys… wouldn’t like to say how much you’ve boosted my balance but i’m a happy man. I’m in for the long run. Much love

  127. TheBoss 9 years ago

Cough Cash cough Out cough Dave :P

  128. Razerbwfc 9 years ago

I must admit I’ve cashed out at just over £17. For the sake of a quid it rounded off a very good day.

Quality tipping again lads, keep it up and many thanks

  129. TheBoss 9 years ago

I didn’t cashout! Ah well! Void at least.

  130. Danny T 9 years ago

I have let them all ride so far and will continue to do so . I will take 2 wins and a void any day . Great work guys

  131. Champy R 9 years ago

I staked it twice, cashed out at > £14 and > £16, unlucky Simon and Rob, looked like it was coming good for a long time.

  132. Tunnell 9 years ago

lol @ the boss ( cough cash out ) :-)

Well done lads on today tips. 2-3 with the last one void. So close but at least it wasn’t a loser.

Look forward to the end of week write up and onto a fresh week tomoz.

  133. GillsRob 9 years ago

So very close but like has been said 2wins and a void makes a good day.

Glad to put the woes of the past few days behind. Onto a new week

  134. Dave Wiseman 9 years ago

I tried fing cash out from 15 mins left until the end and it wouldnt work from my phone.

Void it is for me as well

  135. Simon wright 9 years ago

    END OF WEEK SUMMARY

So, who cashed out and who didn’t?

We started on Monday as we finished last Sunday and went on a non loss run until Wednesday getting to +3 and delivering a run of 7/7.

Then Thursday turned up and Rob and I thought it was a good idea to dabble in Internationals, with devestating effect.

Friday’s are always a bad day for us and this week it didn’t disappoint wiping out our earlier +3 to 0.

We were all surprised to only have 1 bet on Saturday and when it was all done and dusted we came into Sunday -1.

Unlike Friday’s, Sunday’s have always need our best days and 2 wins this morning and a void a moment ago leaves us +1 for the week. phew

So, what does that mean? Well a few things.

    1. For a 5th week running (since inception) we deliver a + week, which aligns to what we said at the start. This is slow and boring but profitable over the long term.

    2. Why we lost on Thursday – Sunday. Rob and I have analysed each bet and found out that friendies screw the figures. For example the crazy Brazilian game on Saturday, we tipped U11 , I think it was at 11 at HT and it lost badly. Run the stats again without the friendies and the bet actually tells you it would be over. To prove this to ourselves we ran 4 games today (3 internationals and 1 domestic in Spain) removing friendies – we ended up 2 winners and 2 voids, so +2.

I don’t mind losing if we learn from them, we have.

So at the end of this week we end up profitable , how many can say that? How many can say that for the last 5 weeks on the trot?

Thank you all for your comments , a few days this week we managed over 100 per day which means we get a new thread everyday also.

    We ask:-

Please keep commenting , esp if you see a cover etc

Please tell others – we would like to help as many people as we can

Please keep the general feel of the forum supportive and friendly – we have a great community built up so far

    Finally , a change.

We normally try and post 10:30pm for the next day and also again in the morning about 11am for anymore we find, due to a slight change in circumstances for me and a way we now get some of our data we may be posting more tips which is good but also across the day more often.

We will continue to give you as much notice as possible , we aim for at least 2 hours but you may need to check into Mr F more often also.

Ok, off to see what we can find for tomorrow. Remember look for me or Rob for they tips, here or on the main page.

    Anyway, who cashed out then?

  136. BRIAN 9 years ago

I actually forgot to look for cover under 11 might have been 8 or 9/1 at that time.
I cashed at £88.89 no point risking £38.89 for the sake of £2.36

Will help with another weekly Monday stake increase :)

Another week on the + side of things, great work again lads

    Highly appreciated!!!!!!

  137. David Wiseman 9 years ago

    Corner stats update

    Starting bank = 360

Starting Monday week bank = 684

Current Stake per bet = 57

    Current bank = 604.08

    Current weekly profit = -79.92

    Current overall profit = 244.08

I personally finish the week -79.92 which should have been around -34 if i could have cashed out on the last game (pixxed me off)

To be honest though its not about this week but the figure that is important is the overall profit which stands at 244.08.

Pleased the site finished plus and we march on to another week

    I am sulking

  138. DrWooll 9 years ago

A twitter would keep me updated perfectly during the day… One thing i have learnt in football betting… internationals and any cup games never go with stats… looking forward to a new week. **CornerKINGS** :)

  139. John smith 9 years ago

I cashed out in 77th minute as it was almost full payout. Glad i did!

  140. Danny T 9 years ago

Simon . I didn’t cash out mate I feel that with a 60% plus strike rate them kind of decisions will go for and against us over the cause of a year so I am just sticking to get the bet on and if it wins it wins if it doesn’t it doesn’t . I assume that would still make the system work right? Just a quick one you say you will posting tops throughout the day are these all system bets or will they be mixed with test bets as I just don’t want to make any errors at all? Cheers mate and thank you for another + week . It’s a great system

  141. Champy R 9 years ago

Glad you’ve filtered out the friendlies Simon, makes a lot of sense.Great work all the same. I like to look at the stats myself where I can but I don’t have as much resource.

  142. Danny T 9 years ago

Dave why are you down if you don’t mind me asking mate I finished £10.22 in profit I placed 15 bets this week 7 win 6 lost 2 voids is that right or did I miss one?

  143. David Wiseman 9 years ago

Still sulking lol and my bets next week will be bank divided by 12 = 50.34 (round to 50 per bet down from 57 per bet last week)

Glad to see so many people enjoying it

Been an interesting week, i did reach 920 at one stage before the internationals run of bad form and my decision to play a few in plays (idiot)

Lesson learned since then and all said and done over 4 weeks I am thankful to be up a steady 244.08 (I have every confidence this figure will increase)

As always thanks for an emotional week Simon/Rob

  144. David Wiseman 9 years ago

DannyT – My decision to play a few in plays (idiot) during the rough run.

Will not be and hasn’t happened again :-)

  145. David Wiseman 9 years ago

DannyT – Glad your enjoying it as well bud, nice to see a few people on it now.

    • Danny T 9 years ago

Oh ok David I did wonder if I had made an error or something . Yeah I see the temptation to minimise loss etc but with the strike rate we are dealing with I think you can let them run. Today was prime example if we had a backed overs in our second game today to cover an extra corner we would have lost then this evening if we would have done something we may have picked under and lost also so by leaving it got a win and a void . That’s my thoughts anyway don’t know if that’s true in the long term

  146. trevor 9 years ago

    Simon

Been away on holiday for last few days and unable to post as I would like

In response to your review Simon a couple of points

    1) Personally I dont cash out or cover as from experience you win some you lose some therefore my rule is do not do it. each to their own I suppose.

    2) Agree 100% that you learn more from losers as you do winning. I analyse all losers and adjust accordingly

Will be following closely even when away all week

    Trev,…

  147. GillsRob 9 years ago

Glad to see a great response to a tremendous day (due to what had proceeded it)

No morning tips but possibly afternoon/evening although it is a small card.

to say that I’m excited by our new expanded data adjustments is an understatement.

We will always make clear what are tips and what is a test. Its just about keeping all of us informed about what’s going on and where we are trying to go with it. Transparency is our aim.
    A
nyway, well done on a tough week and onward with the summer leagues

  148. Tunnell 9 years ago

@ Brian – cashed at £88.89 no point risking £38.89 for the sake of £2.36

That’s exactly the right way to think about cash out. Top stuff mate.

  149. Simon wright 9 years ago

    As Rob says

If it’s a test, we will make it clear and as always , if there is nothing that hits then it’ll be a no bet day. We won’t compromise .

Re the CO, even if you never CO you will still be in profit. Our figs are all for the FT bets , we don’t adjust for CO or cover. A loser is a loser even if we have covered for instance on our stats.

Forgot to say, for those of you on the weekly staking plan, you now need to adjust your stake.

    Current bank / 12.

    It should have moved up.

  150. Jaseos 9 years ago

Danny T – What stakes are you using mate? Reason I ask is having joined a little late this week I am on +0 but using £10 stakes I am £3.50 down.

So I then looked the best I could for the previous games I missed and the odds that produced a +1 week. I found it would have yielded a £3 profit.

Is this right and are the odds below roughly correct? Sorry if the formatting gets messed up!

    08-Jun shamrock u9 1.925 – W
    08-Jun slovenia u21 u11 1.900 – W

    • Danny T 9 years ago

Jaesos the odds are all the same odds I got and I also got a + 1 week but this week I am £10.21 in profit but this week I used £34.25 stakes as last Sunday I chucked a bet on with a spare tenner I didn’t know I had in a bookie account and used the profit for the corner system . My first week I started with £120 at £10 a bet and was £18.50 in profit from a +3 week. You shouldn’t be down for this week mate you should have a slight increase of £3.00 . I hope this helps mate . If I can answer any questions I will mate just ask away

  151. David Wiseman 9 years ago

DannyT – I didn’t mean you an idiot that was me lol

The best thing about this system I find is even when I am annoyed with a set of betting circumstances such as not being able to fing cashout (lol) I cant lump on something else that takes my fancy.

The bookies love an upset punter who is looking to make an irrational betting decision. I used to be that type of punter but thankfully haven’t done that for over 4 weeks.

I feel proud of achieving that and it is thanks to this system and Simon and Rob (enough praising them now)

A shit week for me used to be a lot more than 80 (should be 34 lol)

I know I will make that up over the course of following this system and don’t feel any pressure about it.

It is interesting to see other people just place the bet and let it be and take the result (If i had of done that this week It would have been a plus week) lesson learned.

    • Danny T 9 years ago

David I didn’t think you were calling me an idiot mate haha. Yeah when I am doing my normal betting I always look at cover options I don’t cash out as I think there is always some kind of potential cover . But with this system I am just sticking to win or lose I am not covering as it works without. You should be proud of yourself mate you are climbing out of a hole and starting to prosper I am delighted for you mate

  152. Michael Cutler 9 years ago

Cheers guys – still on small stakes personally – only a fiver a shot for me, but looking forward to increasing to a point where I can take out come meaningful monthly profit. Enjoying the buzz, never occurred to me that corners could be more exciting than goals as they happen more often! Didn’t cash out. Rode my luck this morning by getting on the first bet late at under 6 so let this one run, but in profit overall since I started 10 days ago. Bring on next week – and Rob I hope you manage to sleep what with all your excitement about the Expanded Data Adjustments……

  153. Michael Cutler 9 years ago

…oh, and how do you set up an avatar….? As a Bradford fan, and with this being a Scottish site, I’m thinking a wee Stuart McCall to keep my name company might be appropriate…..

    • Scott Allot 9 years ago

Michael, go to gravatar.com to sort an avatar

  154. David Wiseman 9 years ago

The Boss – lol just looked up the thread a bit and yes cough cough indeed.

You are now a bit closer to the double bubble :-)

  155. David Wiseman 9 years ago

Test, may have an avatar shortly, thought it was about time as been on here since last year

  156. Alex MS 9 years ago

Huge thanks for this brill strategy simon/rob. really apprecaite everything you put into this..
following keenly, and glad that you’re constantly updating the strategy..

I know the internationals gave us a bit of a rough week but did anyone notice that the england slovenia game had plenty of goals but U5 corners! could be worth keeping these teams in mind for future reference.. seems like teams who defend deep against stronger opposition tend to produce few corners imo..
Haven’t been able to find stats yet to confirm this is generally case, but would like to research it further. what are the best sites for looking into corner stats?

  157. David Wiseman 9 years ago

Need to be back sipping a cold one under that umbrella lol

  158. TheBoss 9 years ago

I’m at 155.87 at the moment Dave.

Highest I’ve been was 220 I think but the internationals flucked me down.

Might go for dividing it by 12 from Monday so 12.98 per bet.

If I will the first bet would I bet the same amount again it just keep betting 12.98 till next Monday

I’m pretty sure that’s how it was suppose to go.

  159. Danny T 9 years ago

The boss yes mate you would bet £12.98 till last bet on Sunday then see where you are and divide again

  160. TheBoss 9 years ago

    Cheers Danny. Good night all.

  161. Simon wright 9 years ago

We have a new thread – this thread is dead

  162. robert miller 9 years ago

heres a wee interesting corner stat guys…. i backed ENGLAND yesterday at 6/5 minus 2 corners… they went 3-1 up after around 25 minutes.. strangely enuff despite going a goal down they never got another corner the whole game…… just shows you what competitive sport throws up …. or dosn,t in my case ….. you never can tell… keep up the great work guys… still can,t believe how you unearth all those hidden gems………
