Celtic v Livingston

CELTIC have suffered plenty of Parkhead pain this season and Livingston will fancy their chances of adding to the misery today.

The Hoops were rampant at home last term, winning every domestic game apart from a 2-1 loss to Rangers.

But the likes of St Johnstone, Ross County and Hibs have all taken something home from the east end of Glasgow so far this term so Livi will be dreaming of a ninth straight win under new boss David Martindale.

They are 15/4 with McBookie to rack up another victory and punters may fancy a nibble at that or the stalemate at 31/10. But I’m steering clear of backing an outright result.

Despite having 13 players unvailable, stand in manaager Gavin Strachan was still able to put out a decent side on Monday but they badly missed a cutting edge without a recognised centre-forward.

So under 2.5 match goals could be a good option at 11/10 with McBookie.

Livingston aren’t great value to score at 40/85 so it could be wiser to back Martindale’s men to rack up corners.

Hibs won 10 at Parkhead on Monday and over 4.5 Livi corners here pays a decent 4/5 with Skybet.

A Celtic goal is likely to come from a midfielder and Tom Rogic looks a bit overpriced at 17/5 (Unibet) for anytime scorer.

I flagged Josh Mullin up for a midweek Livi goal only for the clash with Aberdeen to be postponed. The livewire is 5/1 (Bet365) to net today.

Motherwell v Rangers (Sun)

Rangers moved 21 points clear at the top last weekend thanks to a win at Aberdeen, with my tip of a one-goal winning margin coming up.

Gers have won by a single goal in three of their last four matches and it could be tight again when they head to Motherwell tomorrow.

Only a late penalty stopped new Fir Park boss Graham Alexander from claiming a win last weekend and he should help the Steelmen improve.

A one-goal winning margin for either side pays 2/1 at McBookie here and I also fancy both teams to score which is 21/20.

Alfredo Morelos was the hero for Rangers last week with a double and could now go on a scoring run.

He is 23/20 with BetVictor for anytime scorer at Fir Park and 7/2 at Betway to break the deadlock.

Hamilton v Dundee Utd

Lawrence Shankland is another striker back in form after scoring a 53-yard goal against St Johnstone for Dundee United in midweek.

United face struggling Hamilton today and I fancy the Scotland striker for another goal at a decent 17/10 with Paddy Power.

Hibs will be hoping to push on from their Parkhead point and I fancy them to beat Kilmarnock at 42/41 (SBK).

Ross County v Aberdeen

Both teams to score looks the shout in Dingwall as improving Ross County face Aberdeen (evens, McBookie).

St Mirren v St Johnstone

It could be tight as St Johnstone host St Mirren with a draw 12/5 at McBookie and under 2.5 goals priced 8/13.

St Mirren were boosted on Friday when they won their appeal with the SFPL and can use that feelgood factor to pick up another three points against St Johnstone. They have managed to push through the signing of Eamon Brophy and the striker will be keen to make an immediate impact. He looks worth a bet at 6/1 for the first goal.

  • BTTS Ross County v Aberdeen (evens, McBookie)
