RANGERS romped to a thumping Europa League victory at Willem II on Thursday and a repeat performance should see them pass a tricky Premiership test at Motherwell on Sunday.

Heading to Fir Park on the back of a European away day is usually a potential banana skin for both sides of the Old Firm.

But Well will be even more tired than Gers this time after returning from their own Europa League engagement in Israel.

The Steelmen impressed against Hapoel Beer Sheva on Thursday but wilted after Declan Gallagher’s red card and crashed to a 3-0 loss.

They could suffer a hangover against Steven Gerrard’s men who are 1-3 favourites at McBookie to rack up another three points.

That doesn’t represent great value but the odds increase to 19-10 with McBookie for a Rangers win and both teams to score.

I cashed in last week by tipping Hibs to become the first Premiership side to score against Gerrard’s men this season.

Gers followed that up by keeping a clean sheet in Holland but only thanks to some fine saves from the recalled Allan McGregor.

So I fancy Motherwell to find the net after scoring three times against a mean Aberdeen defence in their last league game at Pittodrie.

Alfredo Morelos seems to be back in Gerrard’s good books and the Colombian is a decent 13-5 with McBookie to score first and 4-6 to net anytime.

After taking a point from Rangers at Easter Road, Hibs now head to Celtic Park where a win would lift them above the Hoops into second.

The champions have been playing poorly of late and only scraped through against Riga in the Europa League on Thursday.

Celtic struggled to create chances but Neil Lennon should be more concerned about his defence. They shipped two goals at home to Livingston last weekend so I fancy Hibs to score at Parkhead if Jack Ross sticks with two up front.

Both teams to score pays 20-21 at boylesports and the odds increase to 19-10 if you double that with a win for the Hoops.

Odsonne Edouard had perhaps his worst game for Celtic in Riga and has been out of sorts for a while now so I’m steering clear of the Frenchman in the anytime scorer market.

Albian Ajeti delivered when I tipped him to score last week so I will stick with the Swiss striker here at 57-50 with 888sport.

For a Hibees goal, Christian Doidge is 19-5 with the same firm to complete an Old Firm double after his header against Gers.

Aberdeen face a tough trip to Ross County on Sunday on the back of two painful defeats. That 3-0 trouncing by Well was followed by a 1-0 loss at Sporting Lisbon on Thursday so Derek McInnes will be desperate to bounce back with a win which is priced 17-20 with McBookie.

But County ended a five-game winless run at St Johnstone last week and caused Celtic a few problems in Dingwall so look overpriced at 17-5 with William Hill.

Kilmarnock’s trip to St Mirren is the pick of Saturday’s action and I fancy the stalemate at 5-2 with McBookie.

St Mirren new boy Lee Erwin is facing one of his old clubs and is 7-4 at McBookie to score.

Dundee United beat the Buddies last weekend to halt their poor run and will be confident of another victory at Hamilton.

Accies crashed to 10-man Killie last time out so I fancy United to win here at 11-10 with Betway.

This hasn’t been a high-scoring fixture with three of their last four meetings seeing under 1.5 goals.

Backing under 2.5 goals here pays 3-4 at BetVictor while it's 9-5 at SkyBet for under 1.5 strikes.

Livingston can move off the bottom if they beat St Johnstone at home and can take heart from their display in defeat to Celtic.

The last two meetings of Saints and Livi have been settled by a single strike and a one-goal winning margin here pays 6-5 with Betway.

Super Single

  • Rangers and both teams to score
  • (19-10, McBookie)

Under 2.5 Goals Double

  • Hamilton v Dundee United
  • Livingston v St Johnstone
  • (175-100, Betvictor)

Anytime Scorer Double

  • Ajeti (Celtic)
  • Erwin (St Mirren
  • (37-10, McBookie)
