I think you’ll find they haven’t paid out the full amounts, when did second and third get the same money as the winners?? Also when did 4th place ever get the same money as bottom?? If it is as you say “null and void”, I would expect all these monies have to be returned, as you can’t be paid for something that will not have happened.
