BET BUILDERS are very similar to overs accas in that they can be real rollercoaster bets. I've recently just missed out on two 100-1 shot bet builders but won with a 67-1 shot last night.
When planning a bet builder I'll look at the line-ups and match up which players will be against each other ie tricky winger against clumsy defender, midfield battler against creative playmaker etc. That way I can try and plan out like a game of chess where a booking or goal may come from to aid my bet builder.
One of my favourite teams for bet builders are Spurs, mainly because they score a lot and their players are prone to getting booked. Therefore tonight's game against free-scoring PSV in the Champions League could be very interesting.
Again I'll try and match up one goalscorer and two players to be booked.
PSV v Spurs (5.55pm)
In the PSV team there are three main players who score their goals: Luuk De Jong, Hirving Lozano and Gaston Pereiro.
In their league game at the weekend all three players scored in a 6-0 thrashing of Emmen. Each have different qualities, De Jong is your targetman, Pereiro will come from deep with late runs into the box and Lozano will cut in from the wing with his fast feet and pacy runs.
If I had to pick one to score in this game I would go for Lozano as Spurs have big strong defenders who might prefer a match-up with De Jong.
In the Spurs side, again they probably have three main players (with doubts over the chances of Eriksen starting) who score their goals in Harry Kane, Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela. You can always rely on Kane for a goal even in the big European games so he would be my first choice for a Spurs goalscorer in the bet.
In regards to receiving bookings there are two PSV players who stand out: Pablo Rosario and Gaston Pereiro. Both can also score goals but in the Dutch league and in Europe they have both received five yellow cards between them.
In the Spurs team it is difficult to choose pre-match as Mauricio Pochettino sometimes mixes his defensive line-ups. However, the two Spurs players who seem most likely to play and who I believe may receive bookings are Toby Alderweireld and … Harry Kane! Yeah, Kane has already received 3 yellow cards this season.
