Malta slumped to an embarrassing 8-0 loss when they last faced the Netherlands so they'll be looking to salvage some pride when the Dutch come calling in World Cup qualifying.
That mauling in Groningen back in June was a little surprising given the Maltese had run both Finland and Poland close before grinding out a 0-0 draw with Liechtenstein.
But the Dutch were in the mood that day and showed no mercy, bringing up a full house of bets for Slips Tips in the process.
Ronald Koeman's side then slipped up for the first time in qualifying as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Poland, busting my coupon.
But they still top Group G on goal difference after a 3-2 win in Lithuania and have a game in hand on the Poles so the Netherlands look in good shape to seal automatic qualification.
Malta are unlikely to concede so many goals on home soil this time around but it would still be a major surprise if the Dutch failed to win this qualifier with a bit to spare.
How the bookies view it: Another stroll for the Dutch
After that rout in the last meeting, it's no surprise to see the Netherlands as short as 1/16 with BoyleSports. Malta have been written off at 50/1 and even the draw is huge at 12/1.
Head to head: Back for seconds
That meeting in Groningen back in June was the first game between these nations.
Players to watch: Reijnders ready to shine
All of the Dutch forwards are odds-on for anytime scorer so it's best looking to midfield options to find a bit of value. Tijjani Reijnders has been a goal threat for Manchester City this season and he's 13/8 at Bet365 to get on the scoresheet for his country.
Irvin Cardona led the line for Malta in their last qualifier against Lithuania and the St Etienne man should get the nod again. He has scored once in just two caps and is 17/2 at Bet365 to add to that tally.
Probable line-ups
Malta are without Jake Azzopardi after he was sent off in their draw with Lithuania. Feyenoord's Quinten Timber has withdrawn from the Dutch squad, with Tuen Koopmainers called up as his replacement.
A stolen passport has delayed Memphis Depay's arrival with the squad and Koeman has revealed the country's record scorer won't start.
Malta: Bonello, Shaw, Pepe, Beerman, Muscat, Paiber, Satariano, Teuma, P Mbong, Chouaref, Cardona.
Netherlands: Flekken, Van Dijk, Van de Ven, De Vrij, Dumfries, Gravenberch, Reijnders, De Jong, Simons, Malen, Gakpo.
Anything else catch the eye?
Malta will want to save face after that rout in the last meeting so I've a feeling they will park the bus in a bid to frustrate the Dutch.
That one game aside, Malta have been decent defensively in the group, shipping just four goals across the other four qualifiers. So there could be some value in backing a Dutch win with under 3.5 goals, which pays 6/5 at BoyleSports.
The corner count could rack up for the Netherlands if Malta do indeed defend deep so that's another market worth looking at. Over 7.5 Dutch corners pays 10/11 at BoyleSports while over 4.5 first-half corners offers a bit more value at evens.
