A thrilling London derby could be on the cards as Fulham square off against Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage.
Fulham head into Saturday’s clash off the back of a 2-0 home victory at Southampton last time out in the Premier League. Carlos Vinicius continued his fine goalscoring form while Aleksandar marked his return from an eight-match suspension with a goal off the bench.
That was the second straight win for Fulham, who also picked up a 5-3 victory over Leicester in their previous fixture. Having long secured their Premier League status, the 10th placed Cottagers will be targeting a finish in the top half.
Craven Cottage has played a pivotal role in Fulham’s campaign and they will be looking to end things on a high note in front of their fans. Marco Silva’s men have won two of their last three home fixtures, although they are currently on a six-match run without a clean sheet.
Crystal Palace are also coming off a victory as they picked up a 2-0 win over Bournemouth in their previous Premier League fixture. Goals in each half from the in-from Eberechi Eze were enough to earn them all three points.
Like Fulham, Crystal Palace also secured their safety weeks ago and are looking to finish the season on a high note. Roy Hodgson’s men have won two of their last three matches but have only kept one clean sheet in their last four Premier League fixtures.
Crystal Palace travel to Craven Cottage off the back of successive defeats in their last two away matches. However, having recently thrashed Southampton 5-1 and claimed a 2-0 victory at Leeds United, they will be feeling confident ahead of Saturday’s clash.
