PSG can go top of the French Ligue 1 as they travel to the Stade Saint-Symphorien for a clash against Metz. They hosts have been out of sorts in recent weeks and should be no match for PSG who appear to be hitting some good form lately.
The Parisians are coming off a 5-0 victory over Angers which fired them into the semi-finals of the Coupe de France. Mauro Icardi netted a hat-trick while Neymar was also on target.
It has not been the best campaign for PSG but they remain in contention for the treble. They are into the semi-finals of the Coupe de France and the UEFA Champions League and with Ligue 1 leaders Lille facing a difficult trip to Lyon, can end the weekend at the top of the table.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men earned a 3-2 victory against Saint-Etienne in their previous Ligue 1 fixture with Kylian Mbappe netting a brace. They have also impressed on their travels lately, wining their last five away matches, including a 4-2 victory at title chasers Lyon.
Metz were held to a 0-0 draw at Reims in their previous Ligue 1 fixture. They finished with just two attempts on target in a drab contest with few chances.
Frederic Antonetti’s men are a long way away from their early season form as they now sit ninth on the table, 10 points behind Lens in the final Europa League spot. The are currently on a six-match winless run in Ligue 1 with four defeats in that run and no goals in the last three.
Metz have an even worse home record, losing their last four matches at the Stade Saint-Symphorien. They were beaten 2-0 by Lille in their previous home fixture.

The bookies have PSG as overwhelming favourites with the Parisians priced at 1/3 by SBK to win. A victory for Metz is valued at 21/2 by BetVictor while a draw is set at odds of 49/10 with novibet.
Given Metz's poor form at home, I am backing PSG to ease to a comfortable victory here.

PSG have a 22-6 advantage from 33 previous matches against Metz. There have been five draws between both teams while the Parisians earned a 1-0 victory in the reverse fixture back in September.

Kylian Mbappe is the top scorer in Ligue 1 with 24 goals and will be the one to watch for PSG on Saturday. The French forward has five goals in his last four Ligue 1 appearances and is priced at 8/13 by Vbet to score anytime while the first goal is valued at 12/5 by bet365.
With Metz struggling in attack lately, PSG will be confident of being untroubled at the back. Presnel Kimpembe and Thilo Kehrer have partnered in Central defence in recent weeks and can lead the team to a clean sheet at 93/100 with Sporting Index.
