CHELSEA will be on a revenge mission when they lock horns with Leicester at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.
The Foxes beat the Blues 1-0 in Saturday's FA Cup final as they lifted the famous trophy for the very time in their history.
Brendan Rodgers' side will savour that dream-come-true moment but their attention must quickly turn to getting over the line in terms of a Premier League top-four finish.
Leicester are in an excellent position to secure Champions League football next season, with the King Power club currently occupying third-place ahead of the final two rounds of fixtures.
Chelsea, on the hand, are housed just one place below Leicester in the standings, but the Blues face a big fight to finish in the top-four after last week's damaging 1-0 defeat at home to Arsenal.
What's more, Thomas Tuchel's side are under increasing pressure from Liverpool, who are one point behind the West Londoners in fifth place.
Outright Betting
Chelsea have won only one of their last four Premier League home matches but the Blues are big favourites here at 7/10 with Bet 365.
Leicester have avoided defeat in 12 of their last 13 top-flight road trips but the Foxes are big outsiders here at 9/2 with William Hill, while the draw is also deemed unlikely at 14/5 with UniBet.
Betting Angles
Chelsea have blown hot and cold in recent Premier League matches at Stamford Bridge so I'm going to swerve the match result market here and instead head to Bet 365's Bet Builder feature.
The 4/5 (Bet 365) combination that I like the look of on Tuesday night is under four match goals, over six match corners and for each team to see at least one card.
Thomas Tuchel has been in charge of Chelsea for 27 matches and a staggering 23 games from that sample have featured fewer than three match goals.
What's more, under 2.5 goal backers would have also banked profit in eight of Chelsea's last nine league matches at home, while 13 of Leicester's last 14 away matches in the Premier League have generated less than four match strikes.
With that in mind, I'm happy to oppose goals in this high-stakes top-four affair, but in order to nudge up the price, I'll throw over six match corners into the mix – both respective teams are averaging north of 10 match corners per game this term.
Experienced Premier League referee Mike Dean has been selected to take charge of this huge top-four showdown so I'll complete the Bet Builder by backing each team to collect at least one card.
The Wirral-born whistler has a reputation for being card-happy – Dean is averaging 3.57 cards per-game in the Premier League this season – and with a nervy clash excepted here, I'm more than happy to back both teams to see at least one card.
That train of thought, coupled with the fact that fans will be back inside Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night, could also see some value lie with he 13/10 on offer with Bet 365 for both teams to see over one card in this match – a bet that would have banked profit in five of the last seven matches that Mike Dean has taken charge of.
