CELTIC are treading new ground in the Europa Conference League and will be hoping to catch Bodo/Glimt cold when the Norwegian champions head to Parkhead.
When the Hoops face Scandinavian opposition they are usually heading into treacherous summer Champions League qualifiers against teams already midway through their season.
But the boot is on the other foot for this clash with Ange Postecoglou's men fully up to speed and Bodo/Glimt playing their first competitive game since the end of their domestic season.
Manager Kjetil Knutsen has admitted he has no idea if his side will be able to cope with such a big game on their return to action.
But after battering Roma 6-1 in the group stage (below) it's clear Bodo/Glimt have the talent to hurt the Hoops if they take their eye off the ball.
Postecoglou's side will certainly need to improve on their display against Raith in the Scottish Cup on Sunday, a match that saw my penalty bet come up.
But they still made it nine wins in a row and fans will be hoping the Hoops can take a healthy lead with them to Norway for the second leg.
Head to head
These sides are facing off for the first time but Celtic have a decent record against Norwegian sides in Europe, winning seven of their 12 games and losing just three times.
Players to watch
Celtic only sparked to life at the weekend after Jota came off the bench and the winger was named Man of the Match despite only being on the pitch for about 35 minutes. The Portuguese star is 6/4 with McBookie for anytime scorer and that looks decent value.
Bodo/Glimt lost two of their stars when Erik Botheim was sold to Russian club Krasnodar and midfielder Patrick Berg to Lens. But they still have Ola Solbakken and he showed how dangerous he is by netting in both group stage games against Roma. The striker is 11/2 at McBookie for a Parkhead goal which looks generous.
Anything else catch the eye?
Celtic have been fast starters in recent weeks and will probably try to take advantage of any rust from the Norwegians. That makes over 1.5 first-half goals a good option and it pays a healthy 14/9 at SBK.
The Hoops are also evens to be leading at half-time at QuinnBet and that looks a pretty good shout as it has come up in eight of their last nine games.
Backing Celtic corners has been a profitable pursuit all season and it should pay off here too. I can only see markets for total match corners at the moment though with over 10.5 corners 17/20 at Unibet.
