Atalanta vs Dinamo ZagrebUEFA Champions League, KO: 20:00 Nov 26, 2019, Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia
ONLY a win will do for Atalanta as they seek to keep their slim last-16 hopes alive in Group C.
Even then, qualification looks a tall order as the Italians – who have taken just a point from their four fixtures so far – need to finish with back-to-back victories and hope results elsewhere go in their favour.
Things began badly for Atalanta in their debut Champions League group-stage campaign with a 4-0 win away to Dinamo Zagreb and haven't improved much, although they will take belief from holding Man City to a 1-1 draw last time out in the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia.
In contrast, Dinamo are right in the hunt to reach the knockout stage for the first time. They sit on five points alongside Shakhtar Donetsk, whose trip to Man City tonight gives Dinamo the opportunity to steal a march in the race for the last 16.
To make it, though, the visitors will have to improve an awful away record in the competition that has seen them fail to win 14 consecutive group-stage road games. That explains why Dinamo are as big as 51-10 for the win, while Atalanta look short at just 1-2.
The Croats are cruising it at the top of their domestic league and are unbeaten in nine in all competitions – six wins and three draws – while Atalanta have gone five games without victory and won just one of eight.
There's a theme of goals whenever Gian Piero Gasperini's side get down to business on their own patch though. Of their eight home games this season, seven have landed both teams to score and six have gone over 2.5.
Considering the hosts' dodgy defensive record, a Dinamo side who netted twice away to Shakhtar are more than capable of getting on the scoresheet here. Btts is a tad short at 4-7, so go for goals at both ends and over 2.5 at 10-11.
The goal time market also attracts where the visitors are concerned. Bar a 2-0 defeat at City, Dinamo have netted before the 68th minute in all their group games and can continue that trend at a price of 5-6.
Cards have also been a common occurrence for both teams so far, with Dinamo's 3-3 draw at home to Shakhtar last time out featuring a red for each side, while Atalanta's four matches have featured two dismissals. So the 16-5 offered by Marathonbet for a sending off is worth a dabble.
