Denmark vs Belgium

, KO: 19:45 Sep 5, 2020, Parken Stadium
Belgium

BELGIUM look to extend their 10-match winning streak on Saturday night they begin Nations League business away to Denmark.

Roberto Martinez's side eased to Euro 2020 qualification with a perfect record after ending the inaugural Nations League with a 5-2 loss to Switzerland that cost them a semi-final spot.

Their bid to make amends starts in Copenhagen against a Danish side promoted to Group A after topping their section last time out.

The Danes are also guaranteed a Euro 2020 place, having finished runners-up behind Switzerland, and are unbeaten in 15 matches.

Keeping that run intact will be a tall order against the world's top-ranked side in a group also featuring England and Iceland.

Former Spurs midfielder Christian Eriksen will shoulder the creative mantle for the hosts on his 96th cap, while Kasper Dolberg looks set to get the nod up front after scoring two goals in his two Ligue 1 appearances this season for Nice.

The Red Devils, meanwhile, have a doubt over Man City midfield marvel Kevin de Bruyne, whose wife is due to give birth.

How do the bookies view it?

The Danes are outsiders at 7-2 with Betfair to claim a fifth successive home victory, with the draw a tad shorter at 13-5 with bet365.

Belgium are 5-6 at Betfair to chalk up an 11th won on the bounce.

Betting angles

Belgium aren't top of Fifa's world rankings for nothing. They ooze quality in every department, especially up top, and Martinez's attacking outlook means they score plenty too.

The Danes are more solid than spectacular and will offer stiff opposition, but I can't see past the Red Devils returning home with all three points.

Martinez's men have netted at least twice in their last dozen games, so a Belgium win and over 1.5 goals is the call at 6-5 with Paddy Power.

And the man to fire his side to victory is Inter Milan's Romelu Lukaku. Having scored 23 times in his debut Serie A campaign, the striker can enhance his record as Belgium's all-top time scorer.

Lukaku, who has 52 goals from his 84 caps, is the go-to option at 6-5 with Betway to get on the scoresheet.
