Guys what are your thoughts on an P. Anduljar and Bautisa Agut double?

    • bad jasper 10 years ago

      Who are these people.
I don’t know what sport they take part in, but they sound like a couple of top notchers to me.
      Bullfighting ?
      Bog snorklers ?
      Underwater darts players ?

  2. Dazzler 10 years ago

    Giants @ Royals
It’s the end of the 1st innings, it’s 1-1 but more importantly there has been 4 hits, so the first bet is in. Off to bed now, so just need one team to score 4 or more for a profit.

    • Jordan 10 years ago

Dazzler nice shout on the World series. I took the Royals and overs as CBS sports had it as their main pick. Know nothing about baseball but glad it came in. 2/3 I think you got so well done mate.

  3. DeAndre 10 years ago

    San Diego @ Denver (TNF)

    Denver Broncos -13.5 (13/10)

You can’t beat a good old fashioned blowout to get the weekend off to a great start!!!

Mile High against this Broncos juggernaut on a shortened week for the Chargers, please, they got no chance ;-)

Game not till tomorrow night but thought I’d put this up now because I’m bored :-D

    • Jordan 10 years ago

Morning mate! I’ve been so bored I’ve watched the Spur slose at home at half of the world series! By the way, -13.5 is 7/4 on WillHill mate.

    • Jordan 10 years ago

Wow I should go to sleep. That’s Spurs lose at home and half of the World Series.

  4. Jordan 10 years ago

Think I’ve found me another nice lil loophole for TNF. Broncos -7.5 and overs @ 13/5, and Broncos -7.5 and unders @ 12/5.

  5. Jordan 10 years ago

Cowboys -10 on MNF. I’ll take it!

  6. Ernie 10 years ago

Haydeybaby ,Ad, Who we on today guys?

  7. DeAndre 10 years ago

Already on the Cowboys at (21/20) because I think it will shorten, also think the Packers are a steal at (21/20) to beat the Saints.

Out of those two I’d take the overs, it’s gonna be a brutal blowout!

    • leecunliffe 10 years ago

its Thursday night so start of the NFL Weekend, really fancy Saints at home against the packers they different animal in the superdome Drew Brees is awful away from home but doesnt lose at home, he has won 12 from 15 against the spread as a favourite in superdome, and tends to bounce back when playing at home following a loss won 15 of 18. throw in the fact that all Saints loses were away this season only 1 (vs Dallas well done :)) was a blow out the other 3 games were all setlled by 3 pts or less so could easily have gone the other way, 2 games at home this season won both granted tampa and the Vikes aint great but I dont bet against Brees at home, roll on Sunday for a whole day of NFL

  8. Haydeybaby 10 years ago

I had a little double on wozniaki and sharpapova to get the day started! Not to big tho cos as I say Im not an expert on women’s tennis but they looked like a good bet

  9. Dazzler 10 years ago

Cheers Jordan. 2/3 last night and 4/5 over both games, so in well happy right now. Nice one on your 2 last night as well, very good tips tbh.

I’m no expert on baseball either mate but as it’s a very stat based game it’s my favourite sport to tip on.

Just seen giants had 9 hits as well last night. So a bit disappointing that they couldn’t convert those into runs, since they scored 7 off 10 hits in the first game.

No work today but out with the wife this morning so I’ll post later tonight if I find anything I like.

    Good luck everyone!

    • Jordan 10 years ago

Yeah it was pretty close until like the 6th then the Royals had 5 runs in that one innings. Almost a square off between the Giants pitcher and half the Royals haha

  10. leecunliffe 10 years ago

Nice to get some chill time at work today so managed to have a look at the golf and have got 3 people that i am on for bit of interest

    To Win…

Matt Kuchar 14/1 – very consistent at this course never been over par in 13 attempts, tied 7th in 2013

Webb Simpson 14/1 – again has been very consistent on this course and is in good form coming off a 4th place finish last week

Harris English 28/1 (ew)this is Harris local course so will know the conditions better than any of them

also having couple of quid on each of them to be first round leadrer where the odds stretch to 18/1 and 33/1 respectively

  11. Iddy 10 years ago

Get on Radwanska today I would say, but I am a little biased.
Young +4.5 games v Raonic at 5/6 also looks a good bet

  12. Iddy 10 years ago

That’s Radwanska v Sharapova tomorrow – obviously they have both already lost today!!!!

  13. Brian 10 years ago

Golubev seems potentially good value. Coric’s win over gulbis shouldn’t count when deciding who will win considering how bad gulbis was. Golubev made light work of a potentially tricky first round. However like yesterday my knowledge of coric is extremely limited but surely this is were the youngster comes undone.

  14. Brian 10 years ago

Does anyone think that fognini could cause Murray trouble today. I mean his odds are getting greater but he had a very good win in his first round and Murray wasn’t totally convincing. Surely he’ll be able to get himself in the mood for a match with Murray. I’m not saying for the win but some kind of game handicap is surely worth a punt. I’m taking fognini over 7.5 total match games and golubev. Double currently pays 2.3/1

    NFL THURSDAY***

I got a feeling of deja vu here from last Thursday when the Favs were having to cover more than a TD and the spread tonight is the same 8.5 pts. As last week I am taking the side with the points despite Denvers clear offensive weapons and heres why

8.5 pts in any game is huge, Denver are awesome and most likely to win the game but what spread would you consider too high? 7pts, 8.5, 10, 14 that is the issue people love Denver so the spread becomes too high. Denver were setting all kind of records last week and will have basked in that praise, San Diego meanwhile were turned over and should be more focused on this game.

San Diego are no mugs, the have lost twice this season once by 1pt once by 3pts and whilst they havent played Denver yet they did turn over the Superbowl champs in week 2 and whilst Seattle were off the boil the last couple weeks they were playing well at the start so was very good result for San Diego.

Couple of injuries to San Diego CBs is a worry though word is Jason Verret will play but that isnt overly relevant as the way San Diego will keep this close and dare I say even win it will be with Rivers making it a shoot out

Prediction San Diego to win +8.5 10/11
Eddie Royal to score anytime 7/4
Philip Rivers over 280 yards 10/11

Score prediction Denver 31-28 San Diego

    • Jordan 10 years ago

I like your thinking Lee. A lot of people saying they’ll try and run the ball to limit the time Manning has in possession. Tactics always look good on paper mind you. Still undecided. Good luck mate.

  16. Iddy 10 years ago

Brian – that looks like a sound double. Obviously at 17 Coric is an unknown quantity. You would think Golubev will have too much experience.
Foggy should be able to win 8 games. But u never know, it could be 6-2, 6-2 either way and u wouldn’t be shocked.

  17. Ad 10 years ago

Yesterdays NB curved my embarrassment a little after the absolute horror show that was my NAP.

Today iI think I’ll just do a single on
    Young+ 4.5 games b Raonic @9/10

Haven’t had a chance to properly look into anything else.

Think someone asked yesterday and In response I’ll say I think Goffin can take Raonic if they meet. Might have to watch milos today to help make a strong call on that one.

What do people think of Dimitrov to beat Pospisil? I’m a bit put off by Vaseks ace count in his last match! might be one to leave alone till Inplay

  18. Ad 10 years ago

Also, in no way do I see fognini murray being close!
But I’m prepared look like an idiot when murray gets double bagled the way things went yesterday !

  19. Brian 10 years ago

I asked about goffin because I think as you said there could be an opportunity there. As for fognini, I’m absolutely sold on this idea as Murray commented on the ball bouncing abnormally high which also plays into fognini’s hands. However I’m sure there are less risky bets available

  20. Ad 10 years ago

I fancy a gamble on fab being blown away/ self destructing and backing under 7.5 games in set1 @7/1 :p

  21. Brian 10 years ago

Could be a better call by the looks of it

  22. Ad 10 years ago

Cashed out at set point murray 5-1 up. That’l do nicely!

  23. Ad 10 years ago

Im jumping all over Murray to win the tournament @ 6/4 w betfair. He’s on absolute fire! I think he will beat Ferrer fairly comfortably playing like this. And Daveed has two tough matches before he even plays Murray.

  24. Ad 10 years ago

Well that was pretty comfortable for Young on the handicap.

Halep to beat Ivanovic tomorrow looks tempting, I’m not sure why Ivanovic is favourite. I know Halep only needs to win 6 games to qualify, but she will surely go out to win this rather than be looking ahead and trying to save energy.

  25. lee cunliffe 10 years ago

Cheers Jordan, as you say you can interpret stats however you want and there will be lot of stats to convince you of Denver but I just never like teams covering more than 6 if san Diego score first then it becomes huge. Nothing worse than needing a team to cover by 7 and see them playing conservative with 7 mins to go, good luck on how u decide to go

    • Jordan 10 years ago

That exactly what happened the other night with the Steelers. I needed 3 yards from Brown for my prop bet, minute and a half to go Roethlisberger starts taking knees!!

  26. Ad 10 years ago

A few handicaps that look like they have potential:
    Goffin +1.5 v Raonic@ 4/5
    Halep +3.5 v Ivanovic @ 8/15
    Radwanska +5.5 v Sharapova @ 1/3
    Becker + 4.5 v Karlovic @ 3/10 and + 2.5 @ 5/6
    Nadal -3.5 v Coric @ 3/10

Becker +4.5 is an absolutely given surely. I’ll be interested to hear which of these you guys like the look of.
    Radwanska looks nailed on too.

  27. Ad 10 years ago

Goffin + 3.5 is 4/9 and that looks solid to me as well.

  28. Dazzler 10 years ago

A run in the first innings and over 2 hits in the first innings would be my bets tonight be bet365 aren’t offering them for some reason, so no bet from me tonight.

  29. Brian 10 years ago

I have to give up the tipping for a while. I think Goffin can do the business tomorrow so any handicap on him would be good. Also unless Andujar was injured or something I think the odds on him are quite strange. Considering the quality of opposition he’s beaten and the fact that he’s never lost to Robredo. I wouldn’t know enough to comment on the women’s tennis however those handicap’s seem very achievable. Becker was broken quite a few times today however that may just have been the quality of opposition, providing he’s not injured or something the +4.5 should be very achievable. Coric keeps beating my bets but surely nadal can make that handicap. Good luck guys.

  30. Sam 10 years ago

    Ad,

Your thoughts on Robredo’s and Karlovic’s chances of progressing tomorrow?

  31. lee cunliffe 10 years ago

Jordan it happens every game mate not like football where u get chances to score right to end as soon as a team can ice a game they will, one game last season with 1 min left roddy white I think caught ball in open play 5 yards out but rather than score he stepped out of play to kill the game, sickner if u needed that for your handicap

    • Jordan 10 years ago

Oh my goodness I would have lost the plot haha

  32. Sam 10 years ago

Andujar has been in top form this week and after Brian has made the point that he’s never lost to Robredo, I will be staying away from Robredo tomorrow, so that answered my question haha!

    Cheers Brian.

  33. Jordan 10 years ago

Hmm. WillHill have just changed Brandon Oliver’s rush total from 64.5 to 60.5. Something tells me he’s going to see a lot of the ball tonight. I don’t do Fantasy NFL, but chief will know and I’ve seen that he has racked up more points in the last four weeks than all NFL running backs not named, Matt Forte, DeMarco Murray or Arian Foster. Some information taken on last years fixture where the Chargers beat the Broncos at Mile High.

‘Philip Rivers threw only 20 passes, completing 12 of them for 166 yards, as San Diego punished Denver with its ground game. Ryan Mathews ran 29 times for 127 yards and a touchdown, and the Chargers outrushed the Broncos 177-18 in ending a four-game losing streak to Denver.

Mathews is sidelined with a sprained MCL, but Branden Oliver has successfully stepped into the lead role, rushing for 316 yards and two touchdowns while posting a 4.7 yards-per-carry average in three games as the feature back’.

Albeit against the Raiders, Jets and the Chiefs.

I think as a prop bet this might be the safest as Thomas’ receiving yards look to high at 1.3.5 to say he’s only gone over 100 in his last two out of 5. Rivers has only thrown over 250 yards once against the Broncos, and Hillman @ 74.5 rush yards has only carried over that once in 5.

Just seeing what the early thoughts of this are.

    • Jordan 10 years ago

What are the chance % made up from tickety?

  35. DeAndre 10 years ago

Not gonna lie, every time Lee takes the other side of the handicap from me he tends to get it right…kinda worried now haha :-)

    • Jordan 10 years ago

I did think that but didn’t want to say anything DeAndre haha

Really tempted on those Oliver runs. Sure Broncos can stop the runs, can can they stop it every time?

    Darts European Championships Outright

As ever I wont apologise for tipping MVG for the title. Anyone who reads, follows or bets on any of the major TV darts events know I am a MVG guy. MVG as a tough opener against Justin Pipe, and while Pipe is not in great form the short format and his slow pace could be a worry.

MVG, landed the last TV major, the world Grand Prix at 7/2 and while he is not that price again, I will take him at 5/2 Sporting bet.

In the other half of the draw Defending champion and UK open Champion Adrian Lewis faces a really tough opener against Jelle Klaasen if he can come through that, then I think he can beat Caven or Suljovic over the extended format of 19 legs. Lewis record in this tournament is impressive having reached 4 finals, before winning it last year. If he can survive round one then he could cause damage at 12/1 Various.

The other player I like is Gary Anderson, he could face Taylor in the second round and then the winner of a potential Wade – Lewis shootout but he has been knocking on the door this year of a major. He lost out to Wade in the Grand Prix semi final, but that was a double in double out format, a heavy scorer suits this leg on leg format and I favour him over Wade, despite having the tougher draw. Anderson is 14/1 Various.

    MVG TO WIN 5/2

    LEWIS TO WIN 12/1 E/W
    ANDERSON TO WIN 14/1 E/W

Good luck if your having a bet

  37. DeAndre 10 years ago

If the Broncos are ahead (which I hope they will be) then Rivers will be chucking it more often, so Oliver will see less of the ball in the run game.

  38. DeAndre 10 years ago

If you look at it the other way though, if the Bolts jump out to an early lead they’ll run like nobodies business trying to keep Manning on the bench!

  39. thechief 10 years ago

Denver -7 vanished quicker than a Paul Daniels magic trick 8.5 were best this morning, went 9.5 this evening probably getting bout 9 now

  40. DeAndre 10 years ago

I still think it will be a blowout, but well see :-D

  41. Jordan 10 years ago

Yeah -9 now chief. Again it’s one I’m on the fence with. Yeah thanks DeAndre, still got time to make my decision while I watch the pre show :)

  42. lee cunliffe 10 years ago

Deandre I was just bout say same thing about oliver, I had him in my team last week as I do play fantasy NFL and he got me 4 pts, I’d be wary Jordan about taking oliver as it won’t take much to put ball in rivers hands and i think Denver are 2nd or 3rd against the run so if he couldnt run on oakland he won’t tonight. This game will either be a close fought 3 pt ish game or a blow out there won’t be a 6-12 pt margin it will be close or a blowout and I fancy san Diego to cover but it’s not just us who are indecisive the spread was 8.5 this morn when I bet then jumped to 9.5 now its settled at 9 I like a team who can march down field and keep up with Denver, very few can but rivers is one. Royal anytime 7/4 is bet am most confident on. As always ill be sleeping but good luck lads hope its wins for all :)

  43. WN 10 years ago

Not too much tonight, mainly for some interest but I do fancy them to come through.

Broncos -8.5/Over 51.5 points double at just over 5/2

Julius Thomas and Antonio Gates to score a touchdown 11/4

    Julius Thomas /Antonio Gates 2+ TDs 7/2 and 17/2

    • Jordan 10 years ago

Haha and as I say it WN comes in with almost the same bet.

  44. Jordan 10 years ago

Ok cheers Lee. I think the Chargers will score and score a few, but their secondary are fairly busted up aren’t they? So can they score as many as they concede? The only way Rivers is going to get success is if he releases the ball quickly, otherwise big Von Miller is gonna have a field day.

Might just put a tenner on Broncos -7.5 & over 51.5 points @ 13/5. Seeing as tho the handicap is now +9. Do the Chargers have any key players out?

  45. DeAndre 10 years ago

Just added the Broncos to score 31.0+ at (10/11)

  46. thechief 10 years ago

    TNF NFL

The Thomas boys are pretty short and given a huge handicap despite a short week, I think Chargers will score some points. The overs looks good earlier in the week at 48.5 but it is over 50+ now. Instead I will take the overs on the Touchdowns. O6.5 is 5/4 Bet365

    OVER 6.5 TOUCHDOWNS 5/4

Good luck if your having a bet

  47. winnerallright 10 years ago

no way denver lose this. denver by 21. dont like hillman or thomas prop yrds. i’m on oliver anytime td @11/10

  48. Jordan 10 years ago

Oh chief well done on your Spurs bets mate. Slightly gutted you didn’t go for Kane tonight I bet ;)

  49. bad jasper 10 years ago

I’ve gone Denver by over 21 also in the American girls rugby.
Why do they wear protective body armour, can’t these so called athletes take a tackle like our rugby players

  50. Jordan 10 years ago

    Von Miller. Mr Sack.

  51. WN 10 years ago

Got to say Sanders getting 2 touchdowns hurts, I was eyeing up Sanders big time and the prices were decent as well but opted for Julius Thomas because I thought “hes due a few” after not scoring in the last one. GUTTED.

Chargers squeaking out a field goal here would be ideal. Helps with the over aspect a lot and keeps the game close enough for the Broncos to not ease up at all.

  52. WN 10 years ago

Nope Chargers being a soft touch and settling. Intriguing 2nd half ahead.

  53. Jordan 10 years ago

Chargers gonna score again so Broncos will have to push all the way. Could see a last minute winner WN. Here’s hoping anyway!

  54. Jordan 10 years ago

That interception could work in our favour if Denver score on their next drive! Come on!

  55. Jordan 10 years ago

    Sanders with 3!?

  56. WN 10 years ago

Someone just kill me, Sanders 3 TDs.

  57. WN 10 years ago

I could do with Peyton 400+ yards tonight, would bring my antepost bet of Manning most passing yards right back into the fold.

  58. Jordan 10 years ago

WN do you think we should cover when the overs is at 51.5?

  59. WN 10 years ago

Oliver has been completely shutdown tonight, that Denver D is quality. Hope you didn’t back it Jordan.

  60. Jordan 10 years ago

Broncos get another score and good cover will be there for under 51.5.

    • Jordan 10 years ago

      I didn’t mate I backed the -7.5 and over 51.5 mate :)

  61. WN 10 years ago

If it gets that high, I would.

  62. Jordan 10 years ago

Can’t see Broncos not scoring again in this quarter. Unlucky on the TD scorers mate but there’s still time for a blowout :)

    • WN 10 years ago

Its okay mate, i’m more annoyed that I didn’t back Sanders than losing on the others. if I do lose.

Our bet all depends on if Denver keep going or not. If they start that run only shite in the 4th quarter we are kinda screwed.

  63. Ad 10 years ago

im on a very unlikely hunch driven fourfold that pays 26/1:
    wozniaki
    radwanska
    halep
    goffin

  64. DeAndre 10 years ago

BadJasper, that’s just unnecessary. If you don’t like the sport then keep that to yourself :-)

  65. DeAndre 10 years ago

Come on Broncos….we want a blowout!!! (Dancing at work like a crazy person, haha)

    • Jordan 10 years ago

Deandre, get back to work!! ;)

    • WN 10 years ago

Haha Deandre, you doing a night shift?

  66. DeAndre 10 years ago

Haha….I’m earning more on the NFL so this is priority 1 ;-)

    • Jordan 10 years ago

      Haha good man!!

  67. WN 10 years ago

    Gates!

  68. DeAndre 10 years ago

Chargers to score 21.0+ is (6/5) in play with Paddy, some of my incoming profits definitely on that!

  69. Jordan 10 years ago

Yes!! Needed that score! (sorry if you didn’t DeAndre)

    Shall I cover??

  70. DeAndre 10 years ago

Yep, got live updates on my phone so I kinda know how it’s going :-)

  71. Jordan 10 years ago

I’m a point away from being able to cover unders @ 3/1.

  72. DeAndre 10 years ago

As long as it stays at a 14 point gap (all Denvers wins have been by atleast 14) then I’ll be happy

  73. WN 10 years ago

    Hilman is soooo quick.

  74. Jordan 10 years ago

Who needs to cover here! What a run from Hillman!

  75. DeAndre 10 years ago

All I got was a line on a screen, exciting stuff :-D

    • WN 10 years ago

Hahaha that really made me laugh hard Deandre.

    • Jordan 10 years ago

      Hahahaha

  76. DeAndre 10 years ago

A J. Thomas makes up a lot of bets here, chief total TDs, WN scorers double, my overs :-) COME ON THOMAS GET OPEN!!!

  77. Jordan 10 years ago

Hillmans got his overs and Thomas is 6 yards from his.

Covered under 51.5 @ 15/4. Now we relax!

  78. WN 10 years ago

Phewww, from interception to penalty and first down again.

  79. DeAndre 10 years ago

My screen went all interception bonkers, wtf!!!

  80. Jordan 10 years ago

    Hahaha penalty!!! TD!!

  81. WN 10 years ago

    Why Peyton :(

Thompson 2 TDs, I wonder what the price was for that?!

  82. DeAndre 10 years ago

    Home team total 31.0+ (10/11) :-D WIN :-D

Now all we need is the blowout to continue, and J.Thomas to score a bloody TD! He’s on WNs bet but more importantly on my fantasy team for this week!!!! AAAAAGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!

    • WN 10 years ago

the handicap/overs double brings me profit but yes! COME ON JULIUS!

  83. Jordan 10 years ago

    Wtf!?!?! Punt return!?!?!

  84. Jordan 10 years ago

F**K!! WILLHILL GAVE THE TD TO CHARGERS! S**T MYSELF!

  85. DeAndre 10 years ago

Nice call on the TD madness chief :-)

  96. DeAndre 10 years ago

Me too, my updates are slower than live tv apparently ha, who knew :-

  97. WN 10 years ago

That was a bit daft, a long field goal taken by what sounds like an injured kicker. They could have pinned down the Chargers instead.

  98. Jordan 10 years ago

They’re gonna score, and Broncos are gonna run the clock down aren’t they. NOOOOO!!

  99. WN 10 years ago

    Interceptionnnnnnnn!

You’ll atleast be able to see Julio Jones, he’s a freak of nature as well ;-)

See ya later lads, stop counting cash and get some sleep haha :-D

  113. WN 10 years ago

That is true! However that banged up o-line of Atlants will limit his receptions I feel. Anyhow, you are right, bed time!

  114. lee cunliffe 10 years ago

We’ll done guts with the NFL reading your comments sounded like it was touch and go for a while bookies will have lost a lot there but prob clawed a lot of it back with neither Thomas scoring can’t remember last time that happened. Time to earn some coin for a Sunday of NFL, man utd, then more NFL bet my Mrs loves me

    • Jordan 10 years ago

It was touch and go Lee. Thrilling stuff but we’re lucky that it came off more than anything. Looking forward to Sunday, not sure about United tho pal.

  115. Dazzler 10 years ago

Don’t realise that game 3 isn’t till 1am tomorrow morning. That’s probably why the markets weren’t up lol

  116. Ernie 10 years ago

    Anyone fancy Halep against ivanovic?

  117. thechief 10 years ago

    NFL OVER 6.5 TOUCHDOWNS 5/4 WON :)

If every game went to plan we would all retire haha

Looks like I missed an exciting game, will watch it when I get home. Good commentary on the game guys, and well done to all the winners, roll on Sunday from 11am to 4am nest day Get ya buckets ready :)

  118. Chip 10 years ago

DeAndre, thanks for your handicap tip on the Broncos last night, woke up to some lovely profit!

Didn’t manage to see thechief or that’s tips because I wasn’t awake late enough but well done with your winners!

  119. Sam 10 years ago

    Ernie,

Halep is already through to the next round after winning her first 2 matches so I have seen people questioning how much she will be up for today’s match.

Its Errani/Vinci, Karlovic, Thornton and Chsinall for me this afternoon with a Darts and Tennis 4-Fold.

Looking at Bunting, Anderson, Wade, Lewis and MVG for this evening in the darts.

  120. Dazzler 10 years ago

Is The Chief about for tonight’s rugby?

Betfair are offering double odds on anytime try scores for Munster v Saracens.

  121. thechief 10 years ago

Dazzler, I don’t follow union mate so I cant advise you.

  122. Dazzler 10 years ago

OK chief. Might just take a random punt then.

  123. DeAndre 10 years ago

    NFL Wembley 13:30 KO

    Detroit @ Atlanta

Atlanta are a completely different team at home (tonnes better) so it’s kinda mind blowing that they would give up a home game to play on foreign soil.

The Lions have a quality D, but more specifically a sick pass rush, the Falcons O-line has been battered by injuries and Matt Ryan is in for a long afternoon.

    Detroit Lions -6.5 (7/5)

    I’m gonna wait until Saturday night/Sunday morning for the 6 & 9 o’clock games :-)

    Good luck everybody!

  124. lee cunliffe 10 years ago

Deandre were back on the same page I am on Detroit to cover the handicap Matt Ryan will see what the ferocity of a defence the lions have got, the vikes stuffed Atlanta and Detroit a step above should give some nice funds for the late games don’t forget it’s 5pm for Sun games and 8pm late games due to clocks changing

    • Jordan 10 years ago

Lee, DeAndre cheers for that Detroit pick I was thinking about adding them but didn’t know if they’d suffer from the journey.

My thoughts for Sunday. Just gonna keep it simple and do a rolling ML Treble over the day. DeAndre you seen the handicap for Green Bay is now at +2.5? Should we be worried?

LIONS @ Falcons (Wembley Arena Neutral)
      SEAHAWKS @ Panthers
      COLTS @ Pittsburgh

      Pays just under 5/2

Have another rolling 5 fold just for small interest.

      LIONS
      SEAHAWKS
      COLTS (-3)
      PACKERS (+1.5)
      COWBOYS (-10)

      14/1

Any doubts in these? I know you don’t like high spreads Lee but you can’t deny this one? I know somebody won’t haha

  125. Ad 10 years ago

Well a couple of those short priced handicaps were run a little closer than I’d have liked, but apart from Nadal, who I fortunately stayed away from in the end, they all came in. I can’t remember what combinations I backed them in but my betting balance is higher now and that’s all that matters! Not had much chance for proper research over the last day or two, but I’ll try and get some well reasoned tips up in time for tomorrow.

    Who d’yall fancy?

  126. DeAndre 10 years ago

Of course it is, cheers Lee, that could have been costly haha ;-)

  127. lee cunliffe 10 years ago

bit of a heads up on the 4 nations rugby league kicking off 2moro, am sure the chief amongst others will have some thought on this,

England -14 to beat Samoa, England were seconds away from the world cup final (doubt ill ever type that bout the football team) last year and face a samoa side they beat by 40pts last year, only issue for England is they have only got toether 9 days ago so had little practice time and no practice matches but their class should still tell.

NZ + 12 v Australia, normally I would not bet againt the NZ team but the aussies have so many injuries and pull outs its untrue, I could name some but trust me there are 21 people that have withdrawn from their squad, now the Aussies are strong but can they cover 12 pts against the NZ missing so many faces? not for me

Tips England -12 pts to win single evens
NZ + 12 pts to win 10/11 single

    Sam Tomkins first try 8/1
    Brett Ferres anytime 7/2

  128. Dazzler 10 years ago

    Royals @ Giants

On average over the last 3 seasons both pitchers have averaged over 1 run and 1 hit per innings. That being said I don’t think either pitcher will go deep into the game.

The other thing to factor in is the stadium. The AT&T heavily favours the pitcher, so it should be tight and I can see this game going under 7 runs.

My feeling is that both pitchers will be loose in the first and then sure up after that. Both teams have excellent relievers too.

So with all that my bets are-

A run in the first innings- yes @ 2.35
    Over 2 hits first innings @ 3.00
    Extra innings- yes @ 7.25

    Good luck everyone.

  129. Jell 10 years ago

KANSAS CITY ROYALS @ SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS

The MLB World Series enters game 3 with it all square at 1-1. The starting pitchers on show tonight aren’t quite aces in the pack, they have a combined ERA of over 7.5. The games so far have totalled 8 and 9 runs scored with both teams hot at the minute with bat in hand.

    Recommended bets…

    GIANTS TO WIN @ 5/6
    OVER 7.0 @ EVS
    OVER 3.5 RUNS IN FIRST 4.5 INNINGS @ 23/20
OVER 2 HITS IN FIRST INNINGS @ 2/1

Also recommending doubling Giants win and over 7.0 runs scored @ 2.66/1

    Good luck all!

    • Jordan 10 years ago

Bit of difference between the Baseball guys tonight. Might get involved. Do you boys think the Giants can score over 3.5? That’s a bet I’ve seen floating about today.

  130. thechief 10 years ago

I haven’t put up any of my fancies on the opening round of the darts as over such a short format anything can happen like in the Grand Prix, however I fancied Whitlock to beat Barney yesterday and it was an 10/11 pick em, the odd firm going evens on RVB.

The reasons I liked Whitlock were that he was a beaten finalist here last year, trying to defend his title. This was his first major PDC tv title, and he plays well in Germany. Whitlock has also beaten Barney the last 3 times they played, and the last time we saw RVB on tv he was being booed for apparently giving up in the Grand Prix against Mervyn King in the last sixteen.

Tonight it seems RVB, will be wearing glasses for the first time and people may remember the trouble Phil Taylor had when he played with glasses on, he ditched them after two matches. Whitlock as now moved favourite at 5/6 and it is up to you weather you fancy him at those odds at Paddy Power.

NOTE, Anderson, Wade and Lewis have all lost tonight in a night of shocks.

  131. Jordan 10 years ago

I’ll take a bit of Whitlock chief. I watched Barney in the Grand Prix crumble so so I fancy Whitlocks chances with the h2h and the glasses factor. Cheers mate. Well done on Larrivey too mate. Aguero is a lovely price again tomorrow so I’ll be waiting for team news.

    • Jordan 10 years ago

Can’t see him not stating but you never know. Whitlock not looking good. Nevermind.

  132. Dazzler 10 years ago

Jordan I think tonight could go either way. Run fest or very tight. My personal opinion is very tight due to the park factor.

Giants park has lowest home run rate, 25th on run rate and 26th in hit rate, just something to consider http://espn.go.com/mlb/stats/parkfactor

All that aside, as Jell said, these two ain’t on aces. Both have averaged over 1 run 1 hit per innings for the last 3 years.

It’s difficult to compare the pitchers. Guthrie last played against the giants in 2012,he played 2 started 2 bit didn’t factor in the decision and Hudson has played royals once in the last 3 years, which was this year when the giants got swept, but they were all at the royals.

Jell and I both picked over 2 hits first innings though. Maybe bet of the night?

  133. Dazzler 10 years ago

Plus what you have to consider when placing bets on world series games is that these two were first and third underdogs of the playoffs in terms of odds.

Royals were 25/1 (oddsshark futures has them at 16/1 but they were defo 25/1 on skybet, NO special or anything) and giants 12/1 (oddsshark futures).

The world series is like betting on the capital one cup lol.

  134. Jordan 10 years ago

Yeah I cant get that market mate. Might just watch for interest as the Royals are being backed quite well.

  135. thechief 10 years ago

    Result Whitlock 4 – 6 Barneveld

RVB had decent glasses that suited him, rather than the bin lids Taylor wore. Its the best of 19 now onwards

  136. thechief 10 years ago

Jordan, cheers mate, yeah Aguero looks good if he starts and maybe btts.

Dazzler, how did you’re rugby bet go mate

  137. Dazzler 10 years ago

Chief I didn’t back anything in the end, looked for a stats site and couldn’t find anything decent.

What I did find pointed to a low scoring game and although the offer was brilliant I decided to sit out, I’m glad I did. Only one try in the game, all other points came from conversions.

Think I’ll stick with your league tips!
