PRESTON beat the Top Treble last weekend after all my teams were leading at half-time. Newcastle and Dundee United did the business but there are no prizes for two out of three.
This weekend I'm doing three aways and while that's unusual two of them are in Scottish Cup ties.
I'ms starting with League One Brentford who travel to Notts County on the back of five wins out of six – the only failure coming in a 0-0 draw at Wolves.
After a slow start to the season Uwe Rosler's side are up to fourth and in midweek came from behind to beat Peterborough while two of their recent wins have been 5-0 against Crewe and Staines.
County on the other hand are rooted to the foot of the table and their draw at Bradford in midweek ended a run of five defeats.
Head to the fourth round of the Scottish Cup to complete the treble and first up it's Championship outfit Dumbarton at League Two Berwick.
Dumbarton are the most profitable side in Britain to back away from home in the last 16 matches with nine wins and seven defeats. They top the table ahead of Arsenal and Oxford.
The Sons beat Livingston 3-1 away in the league last weekend and have won four times on the road in the Championship.
It won't be easy at a Berwick outfit who have only lost one of their last six. Dumbarton have won their last two 2-1 at Shielfield and while I'm on the away I also fancy both teams to score.
Complete the treble with a recent old favourite in Stranraer who travel to League Two leaders Clyde. League One Stranraer have been on fire recently with four successive wins and 14 goals scored.
They've won their last three away – 3-1 at Airdrie, 6-3 at Ayr and 3-2 at Auchinleck and should have too much firepower for a Clyde side who haven't scored more than two in their last six. Having said that the last four meetings have seen both net with a total of 15 goals so again both to score is an option.
