IT'S been a quiet few days unless your name is HullShaker. There aren't many actual shakers left but our man is always there – rattling and rolling over the bookies.
I'm not sure where he gets them and how he finds the time to do the research but his more obscure tips are always welcome.
After the international break there are games from the English Championship, Scottish Premiership, Bundesliga, La Liga and French Ligue 1 among others and that's music to my ears. Greg and others will love French Ligue 2 and Dutch Eerste League.
I've posted a preview on St Mirren v Celtic as Oran Kearney makes his Paisley dugout debut and I like the tips put up Andy Whalley so check them out as it's difficult to find value on the short-priced champions.
Birmingham v West Brom is the offering from the Championship and while I expect a Baggies win against a pointless outfit I'm keeping the draw on side as it's a derby.
In the Bundesliga it's Dortmund v Freiburg and the h2h says six wins in a row for Borussia.
La Liga offers up Huesca at home to basement boys Vallecano. Promoted Huesca's three games have totalled 17 goals including an 8-2 defeat to Barcelona while Rayo have had a tough start which has included losses to Atletico Madrid and Sevilla.
Huesca have played their three games away so this is their first-ever home match in the top flight and they'll be looking to put on a show. Back them not to lose or look at goals options.
Nice tackle Rennes in France and have won the last two meetings but have started poorly. PSG are already out in front – the only team to have won four out of four – and are a short price at home to St Etienne who are unbeaten but with three draws in four.
PSG have won seven out of eight on the h2h with 22 goals scored so we should be looking at PSG and over 2.5 match goals.
For now I've put together a Top Treble and it's back to concentrating on Saturday's card. VIP tips are already up for members only as the Super Single shortlist.
Remember to have a look at welovebetting for their tips and video chat.

Repost from Tuesday…..
Looking ahead too Friday night and 3 strong favourites at around 1/5-1/6 range on the WDW but I fancy all 3 too win by 2+.
PSG v St Ettiene 4/7
St Mirren v CELTIC 8/13
CLUB BRUGGE v Lokeren 8/15
2.89/1 treble
While looking out teams I spotted the Danish match between Esbjerg and OB Odense, what caught my eye was the away side being 11/10 favourites despite being 2nd bottom of the pile while the hosts are sitting 6th.
Both have played 8 games with Esbjerg winning 3,drew 2 & lost 3 but 2 of the 3 losses were against the top 2 of Midtyjland and Copenhagen in their last game. Before that loss they had 3 victories on the trot including 2 impressive away 1-0’s at Brondby and AaB Aarhus who sit 3rd & 4th respectably.
Odense on the other hand have 1 solitary victory in 8 with
3 draws and 4 losses. Their sole win was against 3rd bottom Vejle and 2 of their 4 losses came against bottom club Hobro and 4th from bottom Vendsyssel.
The H2H don’t really show a dominant side although Esbjerg have won 2 of the last 4 compared too a solitary victory for Odense.
The home side for me are way too big at 5/2 and if anyone cam shed some light on why the home side are so big please speak up ?
Esbjerg draw no bet 6/4 is the safer option
**Esbjerg drifted too 13/5 last night but are now 12/5 this morning and I reckon they will go shorter as the day goes on. Draw no bet is 11/8 from 6/4
As for the treble PSG price has drifted from 4/7 too 4/6 but even out by Celtic going from 8/13 to 8/15
Anymore input on Esbjerg through the day is most welcome ?
SPL starts back tonight.,watching from Montego Bay. On 9/2 the treble, are we still confident?
It’s a 9/2 double on both cups in my opinion tbh. There’s a few capable of beating Celtic on their day which makes the cup ties a little more difficult but that also requires Celtic too not be at their own game but over the course of 38 league games nobody will get within 10 points of Celtic. Hibs and Aberdeen have given them 2 difficult ties in 2 years and the rest have been a stroll in the park but 9/2 is about right
Was in Montego Bay many moons ago. Remember Shakey’s Pizza joint – great pizzas and jugs of Red Stripe.
Don’t know if it’s still there.
Away to sunny Malaga today (forecast rain all weekend) for the weekend so here are my first team to score tips
Sheffield Wednesday 6/5 (NAP)
Charlton 4/5 (NB)
Rollup
Sheffield Wednesday, Charlton, Brentford, Rubin Kazan, Preston, Corinthians 18/1
Good luck
Hope it clears up for you.
The hoops are a jailing case tonight. Auld glesga term
Sorry I’m English Marsh – what was that again old chap?
im 52,born in Glesga, brought up in Dennistoun, stayed in Easterhouse,Garthamlock & Croftfoot..moved tae outskirts tae Blantyre, been south for 10 years, moved back tae stay in Dumfries & noo settled with wifey & family…….AND IVE NEVER HEARD OF THAT SAYIN ???????????
Me neither but I’m a Bankie.
I have heard of a jailing case , but it had nothing to do with fitba. It usually meant that the guys you ran about with were nutcases .
I’m from the tyre,it’s a term for a certainty usually involving a dog at shawfield. We use it all the time in blantyre
Guy a work beside at the Record is from there. I’ll run it by him.
Must be a Lanarkshire thing.
0/1 as far as rugby league tips go after somehow missing out last night. Tip looked overpriced at evens but if it was that easy we would all be millionaires!
Looking to turn those numbers around with tonights matches
Anytime try scorer double
Ben Barba(St Helens)
Bill Tupou(Wakefield)
2.23/1 (Ladbrokes)
Anytime try scorer single
Robert Lui(Salford)
7/4 (Ladbrokes)
Anytime try scorer lucky15
Luke Thompson(St Helens)
John Bateman(Wigan)
Kenny Edwards(Catalan Dragons)
Junior S’au(Salford)
Advise lower stakes on the lucky15 but 1 or 2 landing will give a nice return at bigger prices.
Fully expect Saints to run riot against Hull. Salford to do a job at Leeds. Wigan could score big against a weakened Warrington side and there should be tries a plenty at Wakefield!
Good luck if you’re getting involved ?
lucky 15 looks a good shout, fancy Bateman to get over as he could start at centre tonight, Kenny Edwards always likely get a try as he supports play so well.
As a Wigan fan I hope your right with the big score but I’ll be backing a successful drop goal at 7/2 which is generous odds for me

Missed penalty aswell one of those games
Dortmund, Brugge, Celtic > 1.5 TGS 6/5
Hoping Alcacer on loan from Barca can help Dortmund get a couple – Brugge / Celtic as has been highlighted on the thread look decent for at least a brace …
Guangzhou Evergrande v Beijing Guoan BTTS Second Half – quarter stake
Cant make my mind up if the CSL game will be a goal fest or a tense top of the table clash – cards would be a good choice – but not an option on 365.
GL all!
Troyes v Niort 7.00
I’ll be the first to admit I’m no expert on French League 2 but purely based on this season’s form Niort look value here at 5/2 (3/1 earlier in the week) with b365.
The home team have lost all 3 home games so far and have only scored once whilst Niort have won 2 of their 3 away games and currently sit 3rd in the league.

Over 2.5gls Evens
Some early doors news from the Derby squad likely to face Rotherham in the Big Apple ( The New York Stadium ). I thought they played their games in Yorkshire !! Anyway. Derby going for their 5th win on the bounce in all competitions. Tom Lawrence kept up his fine form with the opener for country when Wales took Ireland apart. He along with Tom Huddlestone are likely to start. It is looking plausible that just 2 changes will be made.
I’m not really a fan of this 4-3-3 but it seems switchable in-play to a 4-2-3-1 which I’d favour.
I anticipate this starting 11.
Carson
Wisdom/Keogh/Tomori/Malone
Bryson/Huddlestone/Mount
Jozefzoon/Waghorn/Lawrence
Derby starting to make strides towards where we are aiming for, the results are starting to turn into sequences and A Derby win would see a fifth win on the bounce. Rotherham a bit inconsistent ( being generous there ) – I think they’ll stay in the bottom half for much of this season, but their points tally isn’t where they’ll be hoping from the 6 games played in the championship so far I’m sure. Rotherham are ripe for the taking, they’re capable of frustrating teams playing them and maybe that might be the way they survive a 1st season back in the championship. I think Derby should have enough with spare to see them off and so far, I think we’re getting a more focused Derby team playing away from home. Dunno why that is. This could be a banana skin and although Derby have not necessarily dominated in the last 2 championship wins, we’ve got the points. Preston and Hull.
We’re also approaching the ” Purple Patch “, it usually starts late September/early October and lasts around 8-10 weeks. Maybe the training camp gets extra Shredded Wheat deliveries during this period, but draws and losses in a Derby shirt for that time in the season are sparse. It seems that the past 2 seasons, we’ve started to put this string together earlier and it’s been continued often up to and past the New year. It is as predictable as our seasonal nosedive that occurs February/March. Thankfully, last year, we bucked the trend and even though we never won many during that period, we got plenty of draws that saw us finish 6th.
Had a long long night and my sleep is well out, been awake since 7pm, need new meds + I still have some jobs to do before I sleep. My preview will be written and submitted around midnight tonight, maybe a little after. Good luck guys.
Oh, forgot, no stats to back this up, just a weird double that jumps pout at me.
Dutch 2nd tier tonight, I fancy FC Twente to do the biz away and Volendem to see off Top Oss at home. Pays around 2.7/1 + stake. Might be worth someone with better Dutch knowledge to have a gander at it.
Cheers, I’m pretty keen on a Derby win.

Not had time to look in detail at this evening’s games and travelling back up North later but will have something up at some point.
One earlier game that I’ve picked out kicks off this afternoon and has TIPS written all over it…literally!
TIPS VS. SIBBOV (1600 KO):
This one hails from the Helsinki ja region of the Finnish Kolmonen and sees a tip-top TIPS side take on a SibboV outfit propping up the foot of the table with just 8 points after 18 games.
The hosts have seen 5-7-6 match goals in their last 3 whilst the 3 most recent H2H’s finished 0-5, 5-1 and 3-2 with TIPS nailing the first two and SibboV the latter.
Ought to be a few more in this one as the home side look to leapfrog Futura and consolidate 2nd place:

Going with Guangzhou evergrade & btts…… Feel the away side might get a goal in the second half
they’ve certainly got goals in their locker. two of the best teams in the league here. have so far cancelled each other out, but expect this second half to open up. good luck with your picks
Thanks….Goodluck with yours too mate.
well so far we’ve had a missed penalty, and then a disallowed goal (after VAR check)… gonna write this off as a loser.
Poor
40 + bookings at St Mirren and B/Ham . just over 2/1 skybet.
Oops. That is 40 + booking points in each game.
Mr F I was reading that Vallecanos stadium has been condemned and closed indefinitely, this wont help their morale after 3 weeks sitting idle either due too postponed home tie against Bilbao and international break. Huesca will hopefully get the points ?
That won’t help at all so looks good for Huesca.
Troyes v Niort (7pm)
I was on the visitors in the last round of fixtures and they didn’t disappoint with a fine 2-0 home win against Ajaccio to continue their impressive start to the season. That win took them up to 13 points and third in the table.
Teams in this league collect a higher percentage of their points at home compared to most other leagues but with 2 wins on their travels already secured by Niort this season we know they can get results away from home.
They travel to play a Troyes side who are finding life in this league really tough after last year’s relegation from Ligue 1 and if they continue going the way they are going they’ll find themselves with back-to-back relegations.
It really has been an awful start to the season for them, 5 defeats from their 6 games and just one win. More concerning for them will be the fact they have lost all three home matches.
It may only be round 7 but already these two look miles apart in terms of momentum and quality, so you can imagine my surprise when I saw the markets for this game.
Niort 3rd top on 13 points playing against a side sitting 2nd bottom with just one win. Niort are a massive 11-4 to win this which is ridiculous and think the bookies have got this massively wrong.
With the league’s hottest striker in their ranks in Ande Dona N’Doh (scored 4 goals already this season and has netted in his last three) I think Niort are worth backing against a Troyes side who are struggling badly
Niort Double Chance (4-5, bet365) (NAP)

Apologies for brief reasoning – Wales-bound tonight..
LLANELLI VS. TNS (1945 KO):
Goals on the radar here and though I’ve not been backing The New Saints with the regularity I did in previous reasons, I still always keep tabs on their results.
Seems they’ve hit a rich vein of form once again; a 6-0 win last time out is in huge contrast to the hosts recent form as they peer upwards from the depths of their 2nd bottom league standing.

Hi gents sorry it’s a late one. Internationals are behind us and Friday is Eerste day. Two sides playing scrubs today. Almere a side close to my heart should see oastbthe Utrecht boys easy enough, while Twente have a tough road game but we’re in decent form up until their loss against Oss last time out. Both should score easy enough so the double is worth the punt.

Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 11/10 @ 365 – 2.5 points
Pls what does +1 mean in betting
Evening Power, +1 is a handicap term so Bury+1 on the h/cap means Bury start with a goal advantage (which we always need ?)
Rule follows from there…+3 = 3 goal start, etc. Applicable for minus as well so -2 would mean that a team starts with the opposition having a 2 goal headstart etc.
D/C (double chance)
Ie: win or draw ?
It does not mean win or draw (double chance),+1 if the other team win 1-0 then your bet is a push,if it is 1-1 then your bet is a win, double chance means just that if your team wins or draws. On double chance if the other team wins 1-0 then you lose so it cannot be the same bet.
I knew that macca! Lol
Depends if its Asian Handicap or not, Macca. Some bookies will say +1 is Double Chance so would lose if they lost by a goal, but +1AH would get you the push.
Looking at Sunday premiership
Everton vs West Ham
Everton evens to win
I thought it would be 1/2 shot is there something I am missing do the bookies know something I don’t I realise it’s never easy after international break but evens seems a great price I would love to hear what everyone else thinks
Everton have a lot of injuries and suspensions, think it’s 10 likely to be missing from what I’ve worked out, so just be careful as West Ham need the points ??
@mr-h this was aren’t to be sent b4 kick off sorry.

Kiwis vs Boks rugby tomorrow. South African rugby has been in decline for a while now & I’ve been saying it for a few years already but unfortunately there’s no way back. Everyone knows about the issues in SA and the political interference in sports, quotas etc. This isn’t going away & alot of the top talent are moving abroad. NZ vs SA used to be the biggest rivalry around but not anymore & I’m expecting us to get a solid hiding tomorrow. Got NZ -22 (5/6) earlier in the week. It’s moved slightly but not by much. SA will get blitzed in the 2nd half but may keep it competitive in the 1st half so SA 1st try before 37 min 30sec (17/20) it worth a go. Much depends on the NZ weather so will wait for in-play but also looking at NZ over 39.5 points. B.Barrett tryscorer (23/20). Longshots: Taylor tryscorer (9/5). Ioane 2 or more tries (17/2). Estudiantes btts@6/4
Quite surprised with the odds on the game between Estudiantes vs Aldosivi. The last 4 H2H between this two saw Estudiantes winning with 2 or more goals and the bookies are been generous here, also BTTS has come in the last 4 meetings between them so going with stats here; two selections to consider
