IT'S been the month for comebacks but I'm writing off Inverness on Friday night.
Liverpool, Spurs and most recently Derby have produced miracle recoveries but odds are stacked against John Robertson's side at Tannadice.
Dundee United start with a one-goal lead against a side who must be running on empty ahead of their fourth play-off tie. I tipped United not to lose the first leg and to qualify and I'm standing by that.
Finding value isn't easy with United 4-5 with Ladbrokes to win and just 1-9 to qualify. Inverness are 6-1 at bet365 to reach the Final and 4-1 to win at Tannadice but haven't beaten United in five attempts this season.
It's bound to be tight and tense and under 2.5 goals has a decent chance at 4-5 with Marathonbet. The last nine league meetings between the clubs have gone under 2.5 and the only time it went above this season was in the Scottish Cup.

Elsewhere tonight Charlton start their League One semi-final one up on Doncaster and should add to their lead.
The Addicks have an exceptional home record, winning their last six and not losing since October, while Donny have one win in 10 on the road.
Charlton don't need to win but should do at 4-5 with Marathonbet and next up for them would be Sunderland who beat Portsmouth 1-0 on aggregate after a 0-0 draw at Fratton Park. SlipsTips has posted a Charlton vs Doncaster preview.
Not much else on the go on Friday although Greg is likely to post something for the final round of French Ligue 2.
Well done to all the winners on Thursday – my only bet was Matt Kuchar to beat Jordan Spieth in a mythical US PGA twoball and around halfway he was two ahead. However, Spieth birdied two of his last three holes and Kuchar bogeyed 17 to lose by one.
Hopefully one of my antepost tips Brooks Koepka will stay at the top after his super 63 but he's just one clear of Danny Lee with Tommy Fleetwood four back in third.
I might post another golf tip if I have a time in the morning but as usual at this time of the week I'm concentrating on the weekend card.

Thanks for my birthday wishes yesterday everybody.
Found out last night through friends that are running around trying to book accommodation in London for the bank holiday weekend playoff final that a ton of Leeds fans had booked up the lions share of the hotel slots. I’m sure there will be cancellations but expect most people heading there now will go down on the day. My nephew – studying at Leeds university had a nightmare booking a train ticket a week back to get down to London. Again, it seems Leeds fans jumped the gun a bit. I think he’ll have a coach to himself as it stands.
Lots of my options to get a ticket are fading fast as I’m quite down the pecking order to get my day out. Tickets went on sale today to those in a particular group, then go on general sale with the priority towards those in the that group, then if there are still any left ( doubtful ) its a feeding frenzy on who will get lucky. They’ve said they’ll not be selling from the ticket office at the ground, its all online or via the phone line.
When I went 5 years ago, it was when unsold tickets not initially allocated to either set of fans ( Wembley members etc ) were freed up and then split between Qpr and derby. That’s when they opened it up to the queue around the stadium. I’m hoping for the same again. It looks like it is one of 3 options I have.
My brother made me laugh yesterday, his father in law rang up and somehow obtained 7 tickets for his side of the family, he paid £300 a seat. Wembley are charging around £380 for a full package – 3 course meal, good seats, silver service during the match and as much drink as you can handle. My bro asked what they get for the £300 tickets, the reply – ” a cushion “. You couldn’t make it up.
I’ll keep you guys posted on the ticket situation, I’ve figured out bigger problems, we’ll have to see.
Great thing about being a Bankies fan is I need to worry about a ticket.
